A rumour site suggesting that Burnley might be offering cash plus a right back/ winger for Brit, his name is Tendayi Darikwa, I suppose he is an attacking full back, I would have thought a player of British type would have been more appropriate, anyone know anything about him, he is a Nottingham lad.

He is half Zimbabwean, started out at Chesterfield and played right wing and won young player of League 2 when Chesterfield won promotion in 2013, he then got moved back to a right back or wing back role but was once again a key player in 2014/ 15. He moved to Burnley where he was a regular in their promotion season but first team opportunities have been limited in last season or two for him. He is still 25 and I think would be good competition for Lichij.

Good hardworking wing back. Think we tried to buy him a couple of years ago when he was still at Chesterfield, but Burnley beat us to him. We were looking at him before Burnley bid for Britt. Depends on what their valuation of him is and how much they really want Britt.

Good competition for Lichaj? Good news lads, we don't need goals, aslong as Lichaj has competition we will be fine.

foreverforest8 i agree. his second goal was clinical, gets himself into good areas a lot. proving that his best position is number 9 not out wide.

Play him and britt up front together and we'll destroy sides.
Lets hope he changes formation and puts the two up front, surely it makes sense with these two.

@ oj71

"a player of British type would have been more appropriate" - is that a joke?

He was born and raised in West Bridgford. Played for 4 English teams.

He already corrected himself and meant 'Britt' (BA) type of player, case of the predictive text again.

Haha some of you get so funny about posts. someone asked about the Burnley lad so some of us replied with facts about him. he would be good competition for Lichij and probably a decent signing but definitely is not a replacement for Britt at all and personally would prefer to sign him for a fee and keep Britt!
I feel the club will hold out for good price on Britt and only sell to PL club as from what I hear Britt is happy at Forest but any player finds it hard to say no to PL. hard thing is going to be if a PL club come in and turn (have turned) Britts head then can we get a good price and find a good replacement!? Those 20 goal a season strikers are hard to find and even if you do get one if they don't settle at the club they can be a waste of big money.
I think Vellios, Cummings and Brereton have as much chance as most players coming in and if we do sell Britt I wonder if getting an old head like Daryl Murphy or Ricky Lambert etc with a young lad from PL or League 1 to compete and having money left over to spend on a quality midfield player maker might be better than stumping up 10 mil + for another striker who might not fit. look how Glenn Murray did for Brighton where as look at McCormack at Villa who cost much more and was poor.
Will be tough if we sell Britt what ever happens.
