We were here before with the last terrible regime, but I hear from Councillors and planners that the new owners are considering a new stadium and multi-complex within a few years and therefore won't do too much more to the CG (although looking good generally atm) I think positive but love the CG. I work in property and development and know architects have been appointed, but don't know where. Gamston again I guess.

Reassuring to hear that the new owners are looking at a long term ground relocation which is an absolute must if Forest wish to be sustainable in the Premiership.

It's not just about stadium capacity it's about having the commercial space and fan zones within the stadium to maximise and retain matchday commercial revenues for the club and not the private enterprises that have sprung up around the ground and take matchday revenue. The current site is simply too small and the bridge approaches to the ground too narrow to safely handle larger capacities.

The long term future is without doubt a new stadium for the city and at last we have an owner capable of bringing all parties together to make this happen.

Onwards and upward!

Hi redinexile I agree reluctantly, and think it will happen. The people I spoke to knowing I am a Forest fan called me to tell me this, so made additional calls and seems to hold some substance. We miss out massively on commercial activities outside match days, and as much as I love the CG, I love Forest more, and we need to be sustainable and competitive in the long term.

If and when this happens any ideas as to where availability for the new site would be.

Rogie, FF79
Fear not of change and progress your seats in the Southbank Bar are safe. You will still be able to stagger down to your pre -match watering hole but stay all afternoon and watch from the big screen and reminisce on what might have if only you could both remember?
