Wickham wouldn't turn us down and Sunderland will only turn down a bid (if we have bid). This all might change if we offer the right money. That's usually how transfers work.

Although, I doubt this rumour has any substance.

Not made up rubbish or piffle, just wait and see, Wickham is still on loan at Sheff Weds, but it looks as if it is Sunderland that have said NO.

Sunderland want to pay 6.5m on Scocco and also in for Bridcutt. think they would gladly recoup some of that cash and Wickham could be surplus to requirements.

Are you claiming to be ITK or have you got any form of source? I could easy see a double deal for Vaughn/Wickham being viable especially if they're looking to free up capital to make moves in the transfer market

Ed please put me straight, has anyone at Forest ever stated that we are after Wickham or even Rhodes for that matter?

{Ed034's Note - forest have no stated we are after anyone other than Vaughan and hobbs. we have stated we are trying to sign a striker though

You would hope so MXJ, and I would be one of the first to love to see us sign both Vaughan and Wickham, but so far Sunderland have said NO to Wickham.
I admit things could and might change, but so far they have definitely said NO.

Sunderland would not give permission for Wickham to play last night, that is why he was not in the Sheff Wed squad.

I have checked out every Sunderland paper, official twitter and web page there is no mention of Wickham only Steven Fletcher is being talked about. I would be very interested if someone cwould say where this rumour started and what facts stated are true.
