Finally I am a member. So, some news I have heard from various sources is that SP is looking to raid former club Manchester City for proven youngsters who can improve the squad next season. Also due to Man City's restrictions due to FFP they would be willing to loan or sell fringe players.

I believe SP wants at least 6 new faces, with as many as 3 coming from City. Dedryk Boyata could be the first on a permanent contract should we cash in on JL. Jack Rodwell on a short term loan has been suggested with a view to mid year extension.
The final name is Marcos Lopes who SP wants to compete on the wing with Mackie, Pato, Osborn and Abdoun.

I know a forward has been discussed but no idea who. The other names are from lower leagues.

City more than doubled his wages what would be the point unless they intended on keeping him. Because of their shortage of English players

I don't get the obsession with Pearce returning to Man City for players. Since then he was in a position that had him looking at some of the best young talent around.

I have heard stats that last season Premiership clubs loaned out some 300 players throughout the English football pyramid.

If every club refused to take Premiership loan players then this corruption of our game would end and wealthy clubs would stop stockpiling players.

Talent then would be more evenly distributed and England might actually have more players coming through?

I thought City's restrictions only applied to the champions league? Come on Alberto, Gaaaawden Bennett!

Lopes would be a great signing. More of a CAM than a winger though.
