Hi Ed. been away for a couple of weeks and just catching up. You know that my posts are mainly based on facts or as near to that as is possible. Before I went away I told you that the new home kit was similar to the old one, not absolutely right but I had only seen a proposal. A couple of weeks ago I posted that everyone will be pleased with the refurbished CG, I believe that SP has now announced this, so you know that I am genuine. I have been back to CG today and even though most of the players aren't there the place is buzzing. Now for a fact which I ask all on this site and any others, please, please, do not make up chants/songs or anything with Psycho mentioned in it, SP has given strict instructions to everyone at the CG that he now finds it extremely offensive. He is not a tough tackling player any more he is a responsible manager. If fans shout it to him he will more than likely ignore them. As I said earlier Ed can everyone please pass this on. Thanks for your great site, I will only be on it until the start of the season then very intermittently. Sorry for long post but it is important that fans get to know. Strict instruction to who? because the crowd will be doing the chants so what good is it telling officials at the club. Sounds almost a diva ish billy Davies demand.

Pearce really has got bigger fish to fry and more to be concentrating on that such nonesense.

Sorry but this is by far the strangest post for a long time.

I should not have put the word strict in the post, I should have just put instructions. It is nothing like a BD rant, all he wants is respect and he feels that calling him a name that he now finds to be disrespectful is not acceptable. I am only saying what he is expecting which is for fans to realise that he doesn't like the title of Psyco, this is not nonesence, it is human.

{Ed034's Note - I must admit, I find this a little odd. I went to an audience with him last year and this was never mentioned. He also says he has a special bond with us fans and for him to say he finds it disrespectful if we carry on calling him the same thing we have for years, also sounds odd.
One thing I can guarantee is that if this is his wish, he has bob hope of getting it

Aye good luck with that one Psycho is our leader I've been singing that since I was about 10 years old and I can't see it (& similar chants) not being sung tbh.
It might make him squirm a bit nowadays but I doubt he finds our praise and admiration offensive?!?
And let's face it Psycho IS our leader! I didn't hear ol' big head complain when we called him God or a football genius!
Imagine Rogers getting peeved at being called tank!
I'm often referred to as el Greko or simply big nose do I cry and say it's offensive?
Don't be soft! & that's lil old me I would've thought psycho would have thick enough skin. & let's face it here most (me included) would've retaliated if nutted by Basil Boli. mr Pearce not a chance just got on with his job!

Old red un GawdenBennett here, maaate are you absolutely sure you are not just assuming this and sort of well-embelishing the truth somewhat because of PSY, ahem ahem excuse me Stuart Pearce's recent comments about not being the same person he was as a player. To be honest I've been thinking if the FOReST faithfull will be able to refain from chanting Psycho, and at least for few matches not a bloomin chance, If at all I hope you are wrong mate I would like to think that SP knows that we know, that there is more to him than a fist pumping distorted face screaming type guy and that we know he as now a fiftysomething intelligent manager of Nottingham Forest FC, but he should also know that we will never forget those days and will always be Psycho to us, and if he blanks us we will just make a clever chant to let him know how we feel about said issue.

Hi Ed about the CG upgrade, I was told today that SP had put it in print that he liked it, unfortunately I didn't ask where. Any way I have seen it and it's good, wait for kick off and see if you agree, I think you will.

Chanting psycho or not if he us gets to the promised lane I'm sure those fists will be pumping more then when he scored that pen and became an England legend . If he says he feels embarrassed about it via programme media what ever I will stop n respect that but till then I'm going to pretend I'm a teenager again
