Just heard on local radio that Reid could be back for the weekend game.

Think Wigley said he would be out for about a week so should be about right. we need Hobbs back ASAP.

2.) 22 Sep 2014
Did they mention anything about Hobbs, Hunt and Fryatt?

Cheers.

Waiting to hear about Hunt and Hobbs is having his ankle looked at again. Sounds like Reidy and Fryatt back training next week. Looks like the curse of the injuries is striking again. Personally can not see Hobbs playing many games this season and how long till Wilson is out again? Three weeks?

Hobbs has a pin in his ankle from last op he had and that seems to be giving him pain

He certainly didn't look right against Direby .

163 Red - I think you're right unfortunately, in Wilson and Hobbs we have two lower prem standard centre halves. so frustrating how some of our better players are so injury prone. I don't think it's anything other than bad luck and all the daft talk that it was somehow something to do with BD has been proved to be daft. we've just got too many injury prone players, it's hard to know what to do about it when they are players of such quality as your heart hopes they'll come through. let's face facts though Cohen, Wilson, Hobbs and too a lesser extent Reid may never play more than a handful of games in sequence.

Why is it daft 2star to think that BD was responsible for injury problems. SP himself has hinted at this ever since he arrived!
All clubs have injuries, all clubs have injury prone players but the injuries whilst BD were here were obviously far more than that.
Now that some of the players have a re-occurrance of injuries initiated under BD's ridiculous reign or have some problems coming back from injuries sustained at the time you somehow think he is blameless.
These current injuries are for the most part a continuing unwanted legacy from BD's days that are gradually diminishing and will continue to diminish under Psycho's more scientific and sensible approach.
