Next four games we have AWAY Wigan, Cardiff, Watford.

Squeezed in between is a home fixture against an in form Ipswich. Tough few weeks?

It may only be four games but I think it's four games that will give us a really good indication of where we will be come the end of the season.

Anyone agree?

Agree pal just hope our latest injurys clear up. Missing Reid fryatt.
Teams are working us out last season Lansbury Reid pato were all scoring from midfield needs to start again.
Also wouldn't mind another forward on loan. Fryatt could be another injury prone player. Britt can't do it on his own.
Evan with injurys we look solid at back and midfield just lacking bit more invention when Reid gets back this should be sorted. Lansbury needs to play were he's best we refused to sell him because he's one of best cm in league
So let's start playing him their.

Living up in manc now, met a Wigan fan today he had us as stone wall favourites for Tuesday

On reids performances this season so far we are not missing him. we are missing his last years form yes but this seasons form has been rubbish.

Noticeable that since Reid hasn't been in the team we've been getting draws and low scoring. He may not be up to his best, but he can create killer chances in the blink of an eye for any player. Would be interesting to know his assists so far.

We don't need any more strikers. SP hasn't quite figured out that we need different midfields for different oppositions imho. The last 2 games we have flopped because Osborn has not been used as the creative player he is - I think he can do a Reidy here and Tesche is the natural holding player leaving lansbury to crash through defences. If I was SP and I'm not, I'd have another look at Leigerterwood and be prepared to use Grant more often. Midfil;ed are concentrating too much on chasing back to defend. I'd also drop Fox and use Harding there.

As you are interested in Reids stats for assists so far it is 1 !
Antonio is a league topping 5 followed by Hunt 3 and Reid Lansbury and Burke on 1 each.
So as you are keen on stats Shanghai they prove you wrong and uptheforest right!
You shouldn't need stats to show that though, if you have been watching the games it is obvious that Reid hasn't performed.
He will do though and obviously once he recaptures last seasons form it will make a massive difference.

Reids set piece delivery is second to none and we miss that part of his game deffinetly, lansburys delivery from free kicks has been shocking. he had a terrible game on Saturday, I was there, and also britt's running off the ball needs to improve fast, he was making it easy for their 2 centre backs to mark him as when we were defending he stayed up front and stood right in the middle of the pitch, instead of moving to one side or the other to either force their centre halves to get out of position and follow him or just be marked by one of them

And burke denied any chance of a counter attack we might of had because of his slow play, very poor game from him, 2 centre backs were the best players on the pitch, looks like a very good partnership

It was the wrong type of game for Burke to go gung-ho and Hunt to be overlapping every time we had the ball ,Brighton are very strong down the flanks so we had to be a bit cautious ,saying that I would prefer Pato to get the nod ahead of Burke against selected teams,Also it seems strange how the service to Britt was hardly ever lower than chest height,surely it would be more practical to knock it in to his feet so he can spin his man a la Stan the man,like he did against the sheep ,if we are going to have him alongside Fryatt or Lars those high balls might be good for Britt and Pato to feed off,we just need to get the balance of the team right ,we did pass the ball a lot better against BHA but didn't have the cutting edge,in the games we have scored goals we have not dominated teams possession wise and good defending ,goalkeeping the woodwork and a fair bit of luck has seen us through,a bit of a risky way to play I do thnk SP will suss it out soon and hopefully it will be tomorrow night at Wigan.

Such short memories people have. To be calling one of our best players performances as rubbish is disgusting. Have you not seen that he has been playing a deeper role so obviously his assists aren't there but he has kept things ticking every time I have seen him play. Pinging the ball out to the wide men to do their thing. That has stopped since his injury. Stop being so blind. You don't just lose quality and he has more than many in this division. Losing him been a big big loss to us.

Ured, I stated he isn't playing his best and can still create a killer pass. Results have been low scoring draws of late. I don't think I'm stating anything in particular to be wrong about. It was a question I was asking duh!
