Hi all,

Just like to say that we all know that the game against Brighton on the weekend was disappointing, but what was more disappointing was the fans. Most of us has been there watching in league 1 and some really poor games at the city ground, but to be there and spend the money we do, surely people should want to make some noise??

I make a 400 mile round trip every time I come to a home game, I have been to 3 so far this season as well as being a home member and will make another 4 before Christmas. I have a young family and have included children/wife in taking them to games as well once this season. I couldn't care if we lose 4-0 every week, I am just happy to be there watching forest with nearly 30,000 other forest fans.

All I ask to everyone is regardless of the result, regardless how we play, let's enjoy the city ground and make an atmosphere. If people want to sit quietly and watch the game then that's fine, watch it at home.

We need to be the 12th man and really get the team going as well as scare the opposition, so next home game, let's all bring our singing voices and prove that we have some great fans!

You reds!!

So all the old people who have been going for years and years now have to watch the games at home because they don't make any noise?if people want to go watch a game and be quiet then that's fine by me, they are paying the same as you to watch a game and so can do what they like in there. obviously we would like everyone in every part of the ground to sing but to say the ones who don't sing should stay at home is mental. there is a little campaign going on in the lowers brigford where a lot of noise is being made and has been a massive success.

What a stupid post. So a season ticket holder for 30 years should sit at home because he doesn't want to sing. Maybe we should also send home any supporter without a Forest shirt on

I travel home & away, but have never once felt it gave me the right to dictate to 30,000 people on what they can or can't do. It gives me the same priveledge as anyone else living in a democracy. Sing when were winning & moan like hell when were losing.

Mystic Red Just a thought, i'm going out the night before the Ipswich game. i'm interested to know if your looking to bring in restrictions to the amount of times I can go to the toilet during the game. If it helps, I am prepared to sing whilst in there.

I wish more people would sit quietly. Load of kids behind me on Saturday shouting and pratting about. Why go if you're not going to watch?

6.) 30 Sep 2014
Most of the vocal fans at the games I've been to shout absolute drivel. Uncensored, biased, nonsensical, drivel.

Really gets on my nerves when I'm trying to read a good book.

Cor leave our fellow red alone. He's only encouraging a bit more support which can be a twelfth man. I couldn't believe how pathetic the Tottenham fans were last week and thought how glad I am that we give more support. It's much better if we give the team a lift by making some noise rather than just watching!!

The crowd definitely got us a win against fullham when we went behind. I've heard players saying the crowd definitely motivates them

Sorry guys, reading it back I realised how it sounded and it really wasn't trying to ofend anyone. All I was saying is it is too quiet. I understand no everyone will feel the same but at the Brighton game it was no one rather then a few that wasn't. We all have the same right to be there and as paying fans it is our choice to support the team how we would like but my post was more to try and encourage more support as aposed to discriminate against anyone that doesn't want to.

The game shouldn't dictate whether or not we have a good time on match days. Leaving the ground on Saturday all I could hear were the moans of deflated fans and not one fan smiling. It's a marathon not a sprint and all I am saying is let's be happy that we are 2nd and unbeaten this season rather then looking short sited at the 0-0 draw. If that was the last game of the season and we needed a draw to win the league I think people would be a bit more alive and vocal with their support.

All I am saying is a few songs to show support to individuals (like the Cohen song on 8th min the other week) or a team song (like we are nottingham) just to show support and solidarity. The team will need us far more at the 0-0 draws then at the 4-0 wins.

We can all make the difference, individually we can support the club but together we can all be part of the club.

Sorry again guys, didn't want to offend anyone.

Where were you sitting then pal in the concourse? The LB, Ablock and Capitol one corner were all in good voice against Brighton and between us I don't think it went Two mins withhout a song were you in BC stand or the TE it does tend to be a bit library like over there, I suggest you bring a megaphone and get the going.

I was in upper bridgeford mate but I think I am going to try lower for the Blackburn game. I was looking over at that corner and was gutted I wasn't closer to there.

I even tried a stand up if you hate derby to get things going and about 5 people stood up and 3 of them were with me! Haha.

People saying not everyone will sing which I understand but we had 20,000 not singing.

We can't get on the pitch and put the ball in the back of the net but we can defiantly do more as fans I think.

As far as moaning goes some people seem to do that great (isn't that right Cjay??) but when it comes to support we are defiantly lacking.

The city ground should be an experience and no matter how dull the game is we should all enjoy each and every visit.
