How about showing him some support?

I sympathise with what your saying, but think for many reasons this won't happen. I can't see Pearce just walking out. In his eyes he has a job to do, and from his interviews he is saying the players are not performing. From a club perspective, our hands are pretty much tied because of the FFP embargo. I don't we can afford to sack him and his back room staff because we can't afford it. Then we can't afford to hire a new manager and his team, or the players he may want to bring in. Pearce also still has a lot of support with the fans, which given the run of form is pretty amazing. I would imagine as long as Pearce keeps the team away from the relegation zone, Fawaz will be not be happy, but ok with it. If we get sucked into that fight, then your question arises. Do you sack him, put Gary Brazil in charge and hope he can do something? Or see if anyone else in the club can step in? Big gamble, and the whole situation is a bit of mess.

As you do whilst standing watching my son play football, the chat started about Forest.
There is a couple of former professional footballers (non Exforest) within the group. There opinion on the events are slightly different to any opinion I have heard on hear, so I thought I'd pass them on.
They believe that the reason that players are under performing is that Pearce has taken their limelight away from them. An Ego issue in the changing room rather than a professional reason. They don't like the fact that there's more support for Pearce than them.
One made a good point, how many players names are sung at Forest games this season? Apart from Reid & Cohen I can only think of 5. Brit, Fryatt, Antinio, Darlow & Pato.
Interesting opinion I thought!

I agree with the above post, been thinking that myself. By supporting SP so hard as fans we have alienated the players.

Then again why were we top of the table?i agree with what you have said but isn't it down to the players to steal that limelight away from Pearce and put a performance in?
