Ok, still trying to digest the news, of YET ANOTHER MANAGERIAL CHANGE😠. The disappointment is not about who is leaving or why they're leaving but the upheaval, again. The club's owners are boxing clever, I believe, by allowing AK to leave on 'his terms'. I would guess there's a confidentiality agreement in place, a severance package has been agreed, so that both sides save face. AK walks 'on principals' and the club hasn't sacked him, he asked to leave. A new manager? Does it really matter? They're not going to be here long. 😐 The Reading game will show how the players feel, I'm sure some mysterious injuries will have cleared up but what performance/ result should we expect? As for certain people on here, throwing the daggers at AK's back, as he's leaving? No class, which if anything AK leaves as his legacy. Please remember, at present we have no manager. Wallowing in your satisfaction of AK going, before you even know his replacement? Better the devil you know, than the devil you don't.

I am saddened by another managerial change and was on the fence with AK anyway. I think we should have given him time but how many times have we said that. we have been here before and ended up in a worse position than we started and I hope it's not the same again. We do have a decent squad, the best for a while and we have to move on now. I hope we get a good manager to push us forwards. You Reds.

Gazzi, we have all our opinions on players, I was at the home game v Millwall, so am no great fan of the dopey giant. The difference is we have Steele in the squad and know what he offers. Any new manager appointed is starting from scratch with these players. Now that could be a good thing or a bad thing, only time will tell. My concern is losing more ground on the top 6, while his (or her😊) ideas are implemented. It feels like 1 step forward and 2 steps back. I'm not AK's agent, want what's best for our club, just concerned we've dropped a clanger.
