My Villa mate and season ticket holder, is convinced Lolley will sign in the Summer. Obvious rumour as he's a Villa fan but if he goes, how much could we expect? £20m in todays market? More importantly, who do we replace him with? 😐.

1.) 13 Apr 2019 13:41:11
Osborn Scouce. The perfect replacement for anyone in any position.

2.) 13 Apr 2019 16:51:15
We'll probably replace him with a "Joker"!!!

3.) 13 Apr 2019 18:30:19
That will be Cummings then🀣

4.) 13 Apr 2019 20:32:19
Cummings will be Goings LC.

5.) 14 Apr 2019 07:58:59
If we had any backbone we would refuse to sell him.

6.) 15 Apr 2019 11:46:52
Villa will not want Lolley in the Premiership he is not good enough!

7.) 16 Apr 2019 06:59:35
I think Villa will choke in the play offs, just a feeling.

12 Jan 2019 23:28:12
Down to 9th, still only 4 points off top 6. Next fixtures, Bristol City, Wigan and Brentford at home before WBA away. That performance has moved the goal posts somewhat. Our back four will take some picking too. Are we realistically going to have a new manager in by next Sat?

Some have rumoured the club had no one lined up, a tad careless? General consensus is ex-Fulham manager. He's currently being paid PL wages and after watching today, may stay at home collecting said wages. I full of doom and gloom at our short term prospects. Certain fans casually claiming, once we get the new man in, we can clear AK's dross and get back up the league.

That's assuming they're AK's choices, that's assuming we can afford to replace them in a shrinking window, that's assuming the new manager gets appointed soon and succeeds where so many have failed before him. Never assume, it makes an ASS out of U and ME. I regrettably predict a bottom half finish for Forest, 14th seems about right. £10 of my money, for every place higher we finish, to the charity of FF79 and Skeggies choice. Their wisdom knows no bounds. 😐 FTID.

1.) 12 Jan 2019 23:52:05
Better get some extra shifts in then scouse.

2.) 13 Jan 2019 07:25:30
AK should of stayed on for the reading game then resigned, if I decided to leave my job I would have to work a full week why should football managers be any different. Were a shambles yet again

3.) 13 Jan 2019 08:32:30
Don't mind if I have to FF.πŸ‘

4.) 13 Jan 2019 08:35:40
Scouse that's a lot of assuming mate and 14th is a improvement on last season and a one place improvement on where I thought krankie would take us 15th so all in all its all good πŸ˜†

5.) 13 Jan 2019 09:52:32
Oh you are awful Skeggie but I like you.πŸ˜πŸ‘

03 Dec 2018 21:36:18
I'm going to say it, not to upset the romantics amongst you but I truly believe it's for the best. Please play well Forest but lose to Chelsea, then get back to your proper jobs of getting us promoted. Eyes on the prize you reds. πŸ‘€.

1.) 04 Dec 2018 02:04:30
I agree. But a score draw and a game replay at city ground could turn out to be a win for us. i reckon its a blessing too as we can play premier league opposition soon already haha

I'm going for 2-2

2.) 04 Dec 2018 08:21:29
Nah, go out there and smash them 5 - 0 then lose to burton in the next round. Do it the forest way.

3.) 04 Dec 2018 16:48:38
5-1 last year, hope it will be closer this year, it's a good test for us.

28 Nov 2018 17:49:21
I've convinced myself Villa's midfield is thread bare and we will boss the game. No mistakes, clean sheet and a 1-0 or preferably 2-0 victory. Fancy one of our full backs to score too. I had a dream. COYR

1.) 28 Nov 2018 20:04:28
Clean sheet, lol.πŸ˜–

2.) 28 Nov 2018 21:29:15
Currently 5-5 so don't think I'll ever take a tip from you SDR.

3.) 28 Nov 2018 21:41:21
5-5. Brilliant entertainment

4.) 29 Nov 2018 22:58:25
Agreed Trev, luckily Lolley saved my blushes.πŸ‘

04 Aug 2018 21:27:52
Accepting our poor record away to B. City in recent reasons, I'll begrudgingly accept an away point. They're likely to be one of the teams challenging us for a top 6 spot, after all. If we draw away and beat those teams at home, we'll be doing ok. WBA will present a different challenge, especially after losing to Bolton. I hope AK has Forest ready from 'minute one' on Tues and the fans are rewarded with 3 points and a performance. FTID.

1.) 04 Aug 2018 22:38:06
And this is a rumour??

2.) 05 Aug 2018 08:17:30
Spot on scouse my sentiments exactly when we play wba we will see how far we have progressed

3.) 05 Aug 2018 09:04:35
If that's the 'Red Dog' off the bird site, still missing pretty boy Lansbury?😁 As for that post being a rumour, our Ed's are busy boys.πŸ‘

4.) 05 Aug 2018 11:13:57
Quality. rumours in banter and general chat in rumoursa. Keep it up Ed :)

5.) 05 Aug 2018 18:17:10
Nope not the Bird Site Red Dog this is the real Red Dog. FTID

6.) 05 Aug 2018 19:55:30
scouseduckred sort ya self out its only the first game of new season and you have gone and cocked it up already. and please don't get like ff79 and skegjay ( alias basil fawlty and manuel ) and ffs don't mention the war-burton.

7.) 05 Aug 2018 21:46:57
Chopsey I will say this only once.
It's better to eat bread one slice at a time, than trying to devour the whole loaf in oneβ˜οΈπŸ€”

8.) 05 Aug 2018 21:54:46
Cheers Chopsy, proper techo phobe me. I'm surprised my carer allows me a smart phone, especially after a few beers.😁 FTID

9.) 06 Aug 2018 20:25:23
Let's look at it all after 10 matches, no point in talking about it yet.

Ok, so Lampard and Cole in the Direby camp and Terry in the Villains camp? Am I the only one not loving the Chelsea love in? Stuff them both I say, both sailed close to the FFP precipice, may the loser suffer in hell. πŸ‘πŸ˜Š.

15 May 2019 15:04:17
Mark Warburton to QPR? I wish them both all the best. 😐.

1.) 15 May 2019 16:23:50
Warburton will do OK given time

2.) 15 May 2019 16:28:23
It'll end in tears!

3.) 15 May 2019 17:36:18
What a bit like some of us with krankie 😁

4.) 15 May 2019 19:34:35
Hope he dosen,t CRUMBLE or those hoops fans will have him for toast!
But still his bread will be butterd .

5.) 15 May 2019 20:52:16
I think he will do well at QPR

06 May 2019 10:06:22
Realistically QPR at home and Reading away, 4 points dropped AK and the club's fault- their falling out. Blackburn at home and Rotherham away, 4 points dropped MON and RK's fault- experimenting with team, when still a chance of top 6. Leeds and WBA away, 4 points dropped cheating players and poor match officials fault- disallowed goal at Preston possible too. We took points off Leeds, WBA, Sheff Utd and Derby and only Norwich and Villa got the better of us in the top 6. Feeling positive for next season? Not me, still feeling down about wasting this one. FTID.

1.) 06 May 2019 11:58:16
I get what you are saying scouse, but it's mostly ifs ,buts and maybes. The league table doesn't lie ,at the end of the day.(Yes I just said that!). The fact is that over the course of the season we just weren't up to the required standard.Martin and Roy will separate the wheat from the chaff during the summer. We have just had our highest finish since 2012 (I think) and I believe we can push on next season. By the way, birds are one of the most successful and diverse types of creature on the planet and they descended from dinosaurs. Just saying.

2.) 06 May 2019 13:39:50
That's called evolution, are we evolving quick enough? The league will be no easier next season. Preston, Bristol City, Boro, Hull, Sheff Wed, Swansea, Stoke, 3 losing play off teams and 3 relegated PL teams are all going to be challenging again. The league may look at Sheff Wed and Derby/Villa, if they don't go up and try docking points but I think they'll bottle it. The Fawaz era has got us playing catch up and against a lot of clubs with parachute payments. Not a level playing field, so we have to adopt the Sheff Utd model and stick with the manager, for a change. FTID.

3.) 06 May 2019 20:00:32
I would imagine most teams have lost points through bad ref decisions or from positions where they should have won. It's no excuse. We've been as good as anyone on our day this season beating top sides but we've lacked any consistency.
Not quite good enough but moving in the right direction and I'm looking forward to next season.

20 Apr 2019 17:48:44
Am I the only one who thinks Colback isn't as good as he thinks? A lot of you want him next year. Unless the club does another daft contract, 5yrs daft, I can't see him signing for us. PL wages and he thinks he's worth it, not sure myself.

1.) 20 Apr 2019 18:10:36
He ain,t worth it , what we need next season is a entirely new midfield and a goalkeeper . That's where we are losing it , for me anyway.

2.) 20 Apr 2019 18:36:13
The Ginger Ninja isn't worth it.
He's play his part for forest and with the wages he's on I'd look elsewhere.

3.) 20 Apr 2019 19:08:30
Since MON come in his game has definitely not the same. Maybe playing him in different positions has effected his game.

4.) 20 Apr 2019 19:33:18
Maybe redtree.
In all fairness all the team look the same way since the fossils arrival.

5.) 20 Apr 2019 20:28:44
I think Colback has been our most consistent performer this season but he is obviously not in the same class as someone like Grealish and would like to see him back next year but as with all things its a question of money.
If he were to sign for another club he walks away from a contract worth 2.5 million for next season so I suspect his agent will be wanting to get him a 3 or maybe 4 year deal and even at 20k a week that could be up to a 4 million wage bill .

I would go with a 2 year deal on that kind of money but no longer

6.) 20 Apr 2019 21:58:29
We’ve already got a ready made replacement- Claudio Yacob!

7.) 20 Apr 2019 22:19:33
I'd leave it creepy and move on,
Not a fan of loanees and he's been here 18 months which is too long for any loan.
My biggest issue is his lack of pace and McGinn showed how poor he can be faced with pace and determination.
Rafa is no fool and knows there is no place for players who can't get back quick enough to defend.

Sometimes fans don't see the faults in player,to me a midfield destroyer wins the ball and then gets you moving forward as quickly as possible, colback just plays at one pace mainly walking, not his fault as that's his style, but to me not good enough if you want to really progress, same with Watson and yates.
You win the ball and move it quickly at pace, something this squad lacks in abundance

19 Apr 2019 14:20:06
Please NFFC representatives, do not discuss a contract with Sam Byram or any of our loanees. For too long you have been treated like mugs. Time to go back to basics, these players don't care for our club. Find players who will. FTID.

1.) 19 Apr 2019 14:29:41
Not sure what the answer is scouse because I'm not sure you think Appiah and Yates are either

2.) 19 Apr 2019 14:48:59
And cash !!

3.) 19 Apr 2019 16:11:31
I would rather them, than some PL cast off on stupid money. Literally need to lower the average age of our squad by at least 5yrs. Oh and please, no more stupid contracts for the likes of Murphy. How many more years left?πŸ˜–

4.) 19 Apr 2019 16:51:46

Carvalho impressed me just as much with his tracking back, especially the first half. Good to see him doing the ugly side of the game, not just the flash parts. As the cliche goes, he's set the bar for future performances.

If anyone comes up with the right money, would the council sell? Or is it one of those ancient by-laws that forbids a sale? Genuine interest, although I don't have the funds.😁

Agree LC, good player but not that good. Always seemed to be playing at 70% to me. Sign of a good player or one who thinks he's better than Forest? Club finances can't stretch for him or the knock on effect.
