Accepting our poor record away to B. City in recent reasons, I'll begrudgingly accept an away point. They're likely to be one of the teams challenging us for a top 6 spot, after all. If we draw away and beat those teams at home, we'll be doing ok. WBA will present a different challenge, especially after losing to Bolton. I hope AK has Forest ready from 'minute one' on Tues and the fans are rewarded with 3 points and a performance. FTID.

1.) 04 Aug 2018 22:38:06
And this is a rumour??

LOL

2.) 05 Aug 2018 08:17:30
Spot on scouse my sentiments exactly when we play wba we will see how far we have progressed

3.) 05 Aug 2018 09:04:35
If that's the 'Red Dog' off the bird site, still missing pretty boy Lansbury?😁 As for that post being a rumour, our Ed's are busy boys.πŸ‘

4.) 05 Aug 2018 11:13:57
Quality. rumours in banter and general chat in rumoursa. Keep it up Ed :)

5.) 05 Aug 2018 18:17:10
Nope not the Bird Site Red Dog this is the real Red Dog. FTID

6.) 05 Aug 2018 19:55:30
scouseduckred sort ya self out its only the first game of new season and you have gone and cocked it up already. and please don't get like ff79 and skegjay ( alias basil fawlty and manuel ) and ffs don't mention the war-burton.

7.) 05 Aug 2018 21:46:57
Lol.
Chopsey I will say this only once.
It's better to eat bread one slice at a time, than trying to devour the whole loaf in oneβ˜οΈπŸ€”

8.) 05 Aug 2018 21:54:46
Cheers Chopsy, proper techo phobe me. I'm surprised my carer allows me a smart phone, especially after a few beers.😁 FTID

9.) 06 Aug 2018 20:25:23
Let's look at it all after 10 matches, no point in talking about it yet.

09 Jul 2018 09:50:24
AK's decision to get his transfer business done early, is working a treat. Bringing the squad back early for pre-season training, should give us a fitness edge. Spanish training camp and including youth team players, will hopefully unite the squad. No stone is being left un-turned in the pursuit of 'success'. So why am I so nervous? Maybe because I haven't seen them play yet? Maybe a few good, early league wins will settle my nerves? What ever it is, this World Cup distraction isn't helping. Born in 67, so I've always been let down by England. But now I could see Forest in the PL and England win the World Cup. I think I might explode. 😁.

Scouseduckred

1.) 09 Jul 2018 11:53:26
A world cup win and promotion this, two things that I thought I would never see inky lifetime

2.) 09 Jul 2018 12:50:01
I'd be grateful for 4th place in the WC and a top 10 finish!!

3.) 09 Jul 2018 13:19:07
There's only room for a no1 or a no2 in the "WC"πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

4.) 09 Jul 2018 13:44:29
Sswe anything less than top 6 I am sure would be considered unacceptable to the owner given the level of investment

5.) 09 Jul 2018 13:51:47
Now who pooh poohed that one??😁😁

6.) 09 Jul 2018 20:30:55
With improving performances and results, fans expectations rise. Before all of the signings I'd have been quite happy with a top ten finish. I am now wanting more. Does that make greedy? Regarding England ,pre tournament I would have been happy to get through the group but now I want the world cup to come home!

7.) 09 Jul 2018 20:37:23
No just makes you like the owners.
Top ten won't do playoffs at least

8.) 09 Jul 2018 21:01:34
Don't think I've ever felt this optimistic about my country and my beloved reds :)

9.) 09 Jul 2018 21:09:23
On a serious note it is looking good Daz on both counts ,really looking forward to Wednesday and Sunday and then holiday and then the new season.

10.) 09 Jul 2018 21:14:36
I don't really care about England winning the World Cup as long as Forest get promoted. Or at least have a good go at it.

11.) 09 Jul 2018 21:41:01
Phsyco,season don't start for a month,lets win one thing at a time.
World cup is massive,I was nine last time we won it and want to see it again,it gives the whole country a boost and won't affect what we do next season, which with the signings looks good.
One thing at a time my friend starting with the world cup.
Come on.

12.) 09 Jul 2018 22:27:43
Agreed ff799 forest now seem to have all there ducks in a row isn't it nice to sit back and watch other teams struggle with ffp like the sheep and villa who are finding it tough going even stoke are saying we will be promoted strait back boro thought that and we know what happened there

13.) 09 Jul 2018 22:49:27
It is 52 first let's win this world cup.πŸ‘πŸ‘

14.) 10 Jul 2018 09:09:39
If I had a choice I would prefer us promoted over and England world cup win. because i'm irish haha. best of luck tomorrow night lads.

15.) 10 Jul 2018 09:29:53
Mucser it's really good to see so many NFFC fans from the Island of Ireland on this forum. Some our most talented players in the past have come from the emerald isle. Long may it continue! YOU REDS!!

16.) 10 Jul 2018 18:23:29
Hope you guys win too!!! However if Forest get to the promised land,I'll lose the plot!! In fact ill be sitting in my front garden with a pair of pants on my head, complete with two pipe cleaners up my nose, shouting "Wibble!!"πŸŽ–οΈπŸŽ–οΈπŸŽ–οΈ

17.) 11 Jul 2018 10:39:57
As long as you don't get the colly wobbles or you'll end up in your local pound πŸ˜‚

18.) 11 Jul 2018 10:55:36
Slightly off topic but has anyone heard where the team will play their Spanish friendlies? Cheers

19.) 11 Jul 2018 11:24:32
Heard they're training in Marbella is all I know , Fuenguerola meself on sat maybe I'll nip over get a look if they're still around 😁

18 May 2018 23:55:58
Apparently Dowell is refusing to sign a new Everton contract. One year left, so only compensation to pay. Any Reds fancy a punt or maybe not an AK player? Early season Dowell, yes please but properly went off the boil at the end. Thoughts?

Scouseduckred

1.) 19 May 2018 07:01:51
A talented player there is no doubt just needs a good manager to develop such as AK, and a sound investment. If he opted to stay that world say a lot for AK as he hardly played him

2.) 19 May 2018 07:37:33
Not for me, he needs to improve a lot on his physicality and mental side of the game. He has moments of class but we need consistent performers with some grit.

3.) 19 May 2018 10:37:01
Not tough enough for the Championship, doesn't run back and tackle, gives the ball away too much. Keep well away I'd say.

4.) 19 May 2018 11:15:21
Not surprised he has not signed. He needs to decide whether he wants to be playing relegation football with Neverton or promotion football as our playmaker next season?

5.) 19 May 2018 14:54:19
Reminds me too much of McGugan.

6.) 20 May 2018 01:00:03
He still has time to improve

7.) 20 May 2018 12:08:48
We have plenty of our own youngsters on whom we need to help improve and reap the benefits. I say he should seek improvement elsewhere.

8.) 20 May 2018 18:51:49
Sign Dowell up cracking youngster, will get better with more experience. The last year will have been a great learning curve.

9.) 21 May 2018 00:08:23
Keep reading about our cracking youngsters after watching Ryan sessegnon at 18 years old shows how bang average our current youth really are.

10.) 21 May 2018 12:13:13
Saying our academy products are not good, because they are not as good as Ryan Sessegnon is like saying Harry Kane isn't good because he's not as good as Messi.

You can be good, without being the best.

11.) 21 May 2018 19:19:59
At last some sanity on our youngsters.
Never good enough in some eyes?
Tell you what I've seen more rubbish signed over the last ten years???
Think on??

28 Mar 2018 17:19:01
Nicholas Randall QC and Chairman, in an open letter to fans, has staked his own reputation by openly backing Marinakis. For me, that is good enough. Onwards and upwards fellow reds. Barnsley and Brentford as planned for me. πŸ‘πŸ˜Š.

Scouseduckred

1.) 29 Mar 2018 19:22:44
I thought "QC" meant "Quick Collapse". after drinking their Sherry!!!πŸ·πŸ·πŸ·πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

03 Mar 2018 23:34:14
Cotterill sacked as predicted, I thought the players had a good go for him. Unfortunately Brum have the look of Forest up until recently. Wrong owner, poor lop sided squad, a bit of a rudderless ship, heading to the rocks of league 1. Still 3 valuable points for Forest. πŸ‘.

Scouseduckred

1.) 05 Mar 2018 16:23:59
Thought Brum were pretty decent to be fair.

2.) 05 Mar 2018 21:16:34
There's a scenario that looks more and more likely whereby - following Huddersfieldgate last season and "resting" players - those involved get their just desserts. Blackburn should be coming up, Brum could well be going down and, with Palace 2-0 up at home, Huddersfield could be relegated too. If this turns out to be the case PLEASE show Blackburn v Huddersfield next season on Sky Sports, BBC 1 and Netflix! Tasty?

3.) 06 Mar 2018 10:48:55
Palace messed up, but could still happen & i for one would like to see this. Karma!

Harry Kewell sacked. Anyone with any sympathy, whatsoever, for the club across the river? Personally, none from me, the owner reaps what he sows. 😁.

Scouseduckred

1.) 13 Nov 2018 19:16:00
When the owner has more points on his drivers licence than the team does in the league it’s time to go!

2.) 13 Nov 2018 19:45:40
Fawaz Al hardy strikes again.

3.) 13 Nov 2018 20:16:19
Maybe it's time the owner should go. Shades of Fawaz.πŸ˜…

4.) 13 Nov 2018 20:44:34
I bet he wishes he hadn’t of had a pop at us with a couple of our players Kewell May well of still been in a job.
A few years ago I would of felt sorry for them now I’m not fussed bout them.

5.) 13 Nov 2018 20:45:27
I heard today that fawaz is looking to buy county for 8m. not sure how real this will be with his desire for instant sucess . but was told to me by someone who has inside source. don't shoot the messenger.

6.) 13 Nov 2018 21:02:39
The owner may deserve whatever comes his way but no fans deserve to be mugged off - I get no satisfaction from seeing fans or clubs being damaged by owners. Being closely attached to 2 clubs that have literally disappeared and struggled to get back up and running, alongwith forests recent troubles have made me too soft on other fans and clubs. I’ve hung up the gloves πŸ₯Š and I’m going to cut out the beer 🍻 now it’s all πŸ’ and πŸ¦„ πŸ€”πŸ€£

7.) 13 Nov 2018 21:23:49
Look forward to hardy leading them to where they belong non league oblivion, never forget him tweeting that they needed to take advantage of forests problems and 2 weeks later begging our academy players watching them struggle is a laugh a minute sympathy?? You must be joking mate

8.) 13 Nov 2018 22:10:29
Lol Stevie ! I thought no one in the world ever could trump my dislike of them! But you know what pal.

9.) 13 Nov 2018 22:46:47
2tone stop ya messin around, time you straightened right out.

10.) 14 Nov 2018 06:36:04
2star mate most notts fans I’ve come across are as bad as the owner hate forest but always want us to help them out , small minded jealous hypocrites the owner is a Pratt who just likes to see his name in the papers and likes the sound of his own voice, the classic on a phone in I heard last season 1of theirs blamed forest for sabotaging their play off bid for re calling young Ryan forgetting he was actually our player! Then showing his β€œknowledge β€œ of football said yeates was the new Duncan Edwards! we wish

11.) 14 Nov 2018 06:56:46
So true Stevie - great summary .

10 Nov 2018 02:36:21
I'm getting sh#te off the scousers at work. Having to give Stoke away and a draw for even money. So come on you original reds, don't let us down, 3 points against the Potters please. πŸ‘.

Scouseduckred

1.) 10 Nov 2018 09:19:37
Like "The original Reds!!"

2.) 10 Nov 2018 09:23:49
We are all doomed as we are being backed today by Prutton!
COYR's 3-1 and Rowett sent to the stands.

3.) 10 Nov 2018 13:43:20
I thought Pretty predicted a draw?

03 Nov 2018 17:18:53
Rumours are we're top 6 and beat the lead leaders, again. Keep the faith fellow reds. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.

Scouseduckred

1.) 03 Nov 2018 17:35:04
Remember when we lost to Norwich and it seemed like we had lost to Rotherham.there now top of the league.
Lads dug in and did what they needed to do.this is what we have been missing since the billy says.

2.) 03 Nov 2018 18:07:28
Yep. We beat Boro away, won a moral victory at Leeds and were victorious today. All top sides in the division. We're top six, four points off top. Is this an improvement on last season? Mick McCarthy anyone?

02 Nov 2018 19:49:05
In the past few weeks we've played Boro when top and beat them, Leeds when top and should've beat them and now we play Sheff Utd who are top. I'm thinking 2-0 or 2-1 Forest, AK being poached and Burton no show are all distractions. Keep your eyes on the prize Reds, 3 points tomorrow and stay in the hunt. FTID.

Scouseduckred

1.) 02 Nov 2018 21:48:50
Scouse we're at home
Away we are fine,we are far from fine at home,he'll play Watson cus Colback injured, pants will play and he's a liability cash and Osborn will take the brunt of his anger and won't start.
Hope I'm wrong but doubt it.

2.) 02 Nov 2018 22:58:36
Lol, I hope you're wrong too.πŸ˜πŸ‘

3.) 03 Nov 2018 00:17:45
Biggest home win of the season tomorrow!

4.) 03 Nov 2018 07:57:03
Osborn shouldn't play, his form has been very poor. Same can be said for Dawson. I'd have Cash on the right, Lolley on the left with Carvalho in the middle behind Grabban. Figs has to start, solid defender who is also comfortable playing out from the back. I'd stick with Darikwa at RB, I wouldn't have said that a few weeks ago but he's been doing alright and Jankos head dropped against Burton. Dias gets too much stick, he gives 110% each game and there's definitely some magic in there, we just need to see more of it.

5.) 03 Nov 2018 08:12:12
If he persists with any of Portuguese starting today we will be beaten by half time.
Physically they are too easily brushed off ball.

6.) 03 Nov 2018 11:42:20
Gazza. Osborn gives 110% every game but he's been played at left back for most of the games he's played in and Ben Osborn is not a left back.

30 Oct 2018 17:21:30
Burton will be no mugs tonight, so I hope the players AK picks are up for the fight. They have already knocked Burnley out, no horror shows on mischief night please. Ideally a couple of early goals and a 3-0 win, use the subs and get ready to blunt the blades. So why am I thinking scrappy draw and penalty shoot out drama? Match them for effort, finish your chances and let me be a proud red in work tonight. πŸ™.

Not sure if we'll risk buying more players. BB money probably be used to keep FFP in check. Maybe 3 or 4 fringe players released or loaned out and 1 or 2 brought in on loan to freshen the squad?

I want AK to stay because I want him and Forest to succeed. Personally I'm fed up of the merry go around of manager changes and upheaval. If I had the influence over the owner, I'd even demand he gets 'til next Xmas. Glutton for punishment maybe but the hiring and firing of previous regimes has got us where exactly? FTID.

Pantillimon has a confidence problem and needs someone to put an arm around his shoulder. I expect him to play but if he has another shocker, expect him to pick up an 'injury' in training. Their centre backs are going to make or break him today, I'll be hiding behind the couch with every free kick/corner. I hope he's up for the challenge.

I'm with FF regards the Millwall game, Pants literally threw away 2 points. The video clips are of a much younger, fresher Pants😊. I think a settled back four and stronger midfield are protecting him better. Do I think he's the best we could have? No. Do I think he's got a concentration problem and a mistake in him? Yes. Will AK get a replacement in Jan? Not unless he's injured. When he's good, he's very good. When he's bad, he's bloody awful. Let's hope he doesn't cost us a shot at promotion. FTID.
