My Villa mate and season ticket holder, is convinced Lolley will sign in the Summer. Obvious rumour as he's a Villa fan but if he goes, how much could we expect? £20m in todays market? More importantly, who do we replace him with? 😐.

1.) 13 Apr 2019 13:41:11
Osborn Scouce. The perfect replacement for anyone in any position.

2.) 13 Apr 2019 16:51:15
We'll probably replace him with a "Joker"!!!

3.) 13 Apr 2019 18:30:19
That will be Cummings then🀣

4.) 13 Apr 2019 20:32:19
Cummings will be Goings LC.

5.) 14 Apr 2019 07:58:59
If we had any backbone we would refuse to sell him.

6.) 15 Apr 2019 11:46:52
Villa will not want Lolley in the Premiership he is not good enough!

7.) 16 Apr 2019 06:59:35
I think Villa will choke in the play offs, just a feeling.

12 Jan 2019 23:28:12
Down to 9th, still only 4 points off top 6. Next fixtures, Bristol City, Wigan and Brentford at home before WBA away. That performance has moved the goal posts somewhat. Our back four will take some picking too. Are we realistically going to have a new manager in by next Sat?

Some have rumoured the club had no one lined up, a tad careless? General consensus is ex-Fulham manager. He's currently being paid PL wages and after watching today, may stay at home collecting said wages. I full of doom and gloom at our short term prospects. Certain fans casually claiming, once we get the new man in, we can clear AK's dross and get back up the league.

That's assuming they're AK's choices, that's assuming we can afford to replace them in a shrinking window, that's assuming the new manager gets appointed soon and succeeds where so many have failed before him. Never assume, it makes an ASS out of U and ME. I regrettably predict a bottom half finish for Forest, 14th seems about right. £10 of my money, for every place higher we finish, to the charity of FF79 and Skeggies choice. Their wisdom knows no bounds. 😐 FTID.

1.) 12 Jan 2019 23:52:05
Better get some extra shifts in then scouse.

2.) 13 Jan 2019 07:25:30
AK should of stayed on for the reading game then resigned, if I decided to leave my job I would have to work a full week why should football managers be any different. Were a shambles yet again

3.) 13 Jan 2019 08:32:30
Don't mind if I have to FF.πŸ‘

4.) 13 Jan 2019 08:35:40
Scouse that's a lot of assuming mate and 14th is a improvement on last season and a one place improvement on where I thought krankie would take us 15th so all in all its all good πŸ˜†

5.) 13 Jan 2019 09:52:32
Oh you are awful Skeggie but I like you.πŸ˜πŸ‘

03 Dec 2018 21:36:18
I'm going to say it, not to upset the romantics amongst you but I truly believe it's for the best. Please play well Forest but lose to Chelsea, then get back to your proper jobs of getting us promoted. Eyes on the prize you reds. πŸ‘€.

1.) 04 Dec 2018 02:04:30
I agree. But a score draw and a game replay at city ground could turn out to be a win for us. i reckon its a blessing too as we can play premier league opposition soon already haha

I'm going for 2-2

2.) 04 Dec 2018 08:21:29
Nah, go out there and smash them 5 - 0 then lose to burton in the next round. Do it the forest way.

3.) 04 Dec 2018 16:48:38
5-1 last year, hope it will be closer this year, it's a good test for us.

28 Nov 2018 17:49:21
I've convinced myself Villa's midfield is thread bare and we will boss the game. No mistakes, clean sheet and a 1-0 or preferably 2-0 victory. Fancy one of our full backs to score too. I had a dream. COYR

1.) 28 Nov 2018 20:04:28
Clean sheet, lol.πŸ˜–

2.) 28 Nov 2018 21:29:15
Currently 5-5 so don't think I'll ever take a tip from you SDR.

3.) 28 Nov 2018 21:41:21
5-5. Brilliant entertainment

4.) 29 Nov 2018 22:58:25
Agreed Trev, luckily Lolley saved my blushes.πŸ‘

04 Aug 2018 21:27:52
Accepting our poor record away to B. City in recent reasons, I'll begrudgingly accept an away point. They're likely to be one of the teams challenging us for a top 6 spot, after all. If we draw away and beat those teams at home, we'll be doing ok. WBA will present a different challenge, especially after losing to Bolton. I hope AK has Forest ready from 'minute one' on Tues and the fans are rewarded with 3 points and a performance. FTID.

1.) 04 Aug 2018 22:38:06
And this is a rumour??

2.) 05 Aug 2018 08:17:30
Spot on scouse my sentiments exactly when we play wba we will see how far we have progressed

3.) 05 Aug 2018 09:04:35
If that's the 'Red Dog' off the bird site, still missing pretty boy Lansbury?😁 As for that post being a rumour, our Ed's are busy boys.πŸ‘

4.) 05 Aug 2018 11:13:57
Quality. rumours in banter and general chat in rumoursa. Keep it up Ed :)

5.) 05 Aug 2018 18:17:10
Nope not the Bird Site Red Dog this is the real Red Dog. FTID

6.) 05 Aug 2018 19:55:30
scouseduckred sort ya self out its only the first game of new season and you have gone and cocked it up already. and please don't get like ff79 and skegjay ( alias basil fawlty and manuel ) and ffs don't mention the war-burton.

7.) 05 Aug 2018 21:46:57
Chopsey I will say this only once.
It's better to eat bread one slice at a time, than trying to devour the whole loaf in oneβ˜οΈπŸ€”

8.) 05 Aug 2018 21:54:46
Cheers Chopsy, proper techo phobe me. I'm surprised my carer allows me a smart phone, especially after a few beers.😁 FTID

9.) 06 Aug 2018 20:25:23

Lamouchi plans to swap home dug outs this season. Apparently to break the cycle of disappointment. Made me laugh, first thing I thought of was Ron Atkinson. πŸ™ˆπŸ˜„.

1.) 19 Jul 2019 15:57:11
Yep me too.

2.) 19 Jul 2019 16:12:56
Yeah that was funny scouse. Big Ron looked at the opposition subs and still didn't realise he was in the wrong dug out.

3.) 19 Jul 2019 18:58:05
Top Hat.

16 Jul 2019 22:17:50
Olympiacos, 4 times European Cup winners, regular CL football v Nottingham Forest, 2 times European Cup winners, 20 years in the football wilderness. A little perspective gents please. As Lamouchi stated, a better test and highlights areas to work on. Although, they are the same problems we've had forever. 😐 FTID.

1.) 16 Jul 2019 22:29:06
Four times European cup winners 🀣🀣🀣🀣
Oh dear 😁😁😁
What years were theyπŸ€”.

2.) 16 Jul 2019 22:32:03
Olympiakos 4 times European cup winners? i must have missed those.

3.) 17 Jul 2019 07:49:35
4 stars for 40+ championships, I'll get my coat. The gulf in class comparison still stands. πŸ™ˆ.

4.) 17 Jul 2019 09:28:04
Scouse but a lot on here keep telling us the Greek leagues no good,

5.) 17 Jul 2019 15:47:14
Mid PL standard, probably. Which is where we should be aiming for. Long way to go yet.

11 Jul 2019 20:59:29
20,000 Season cards sold, so a poll please Ed's. Will Lamouchi be in charge at the end of the season? Yes or no? Cheers. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.

{Ed033's Note -

Lamouchi Poll

1.) 11 Jul 2019 21:18:48
History says no, but if results go the teams way off course he will, you do not need a poll for that.

I wish he and the team all the best for the future.

2.) 11 Jul 2019 21:29:31
I would you to guess how long it will take to que for a pie and a pint at the ground.

3.) 11 Jul 2019 22:42:34
Well all I can say his he's doomed I say doomed happy clappers have made it 63 percent so far he will be in charge I reckon we should put it to the government they would keep him in at least 3 years 😁.

4.) 11 Jul 2019 23:49:36
Be gone in January dead cert.
Hope he proves me wrong and I'll be happy to hold my hands up but can't see it,
Seen the 26 going to Greece and to be honest it doesn't fill me with confidence.
There all seems to be a reliance on youth to come good?
Hope it works and these kids are top notch.

Edser for me it's a make or break season or he's just another grant.
Yates left out and yet he's got some experience and popped a few goals in.
In adomah I trust the other signings need to be a bit of quality or it's another season of mediocrity and a change of manager once again come January.

5.) 12 Jul 2019 00:08:15
I am hoping he will still be here. We really need to give a manager 12 months +.

6.) 12 Jul 2019 07:30:13
Ryan and the Tunisian centre half not going to Greece as both are injured.

7.) 12 Jul 2019 13:34:57
Yates doesn’t fill me with any confidence anyway.

10 Jul 2019 18:43:18
Mixed emotions at present. Transfers in look ok but I'm noticing little or no transfer fees. Is the kitty empty? Are we saving money to cancel contracts of players we can't move on? Benny possibly going but who else to balance the books? I'm praying no 'last minute' Lolley sale, where the club has 'no time' to sort a replacement and trousers the profits. Fascinated to see who the manager picks for WBA and importantly our style and formation. Less than 3 weeks to form a winning side, fingers crossed. FTID.

1.) 10 Jul 2019 19:22:11
If you like the looks of the new signings then the kitty being empty should be irrelevant. If it is indeed empty or precarious then the owners wouldn't be sanctioning the signings we've made. We have sold or released 5/ 6 players, some with undisclosed fees much like some of the signings we've made so it should be relatively balanced in that respect. A few still do need to be moved on but I'd rather Osborn than Lolley out of the two you've mentioned.

2.) 10 Jul 2019 19:38:40
I will be a happier man come 1st game if lolley is still in our team.

28 Jun 2019 21:54:00
Prepare for some obscure summer signings, the Maranakis project is in danger of de-railing. Fingers crossed for some positive news.

Because we all live in hope and expectation, the curse of any football fan. Just one full season, with one manager, please. πŸ™.

Bezman, RK's departure was stage managed imo. Unless it's tv work, I see no job offers in football.

Tough ask WBA first game, take a clichΓ©d draw now. Bilic could galvanise the Baggies or be a disaster. Our man is a mystery, until we see his team and how he gets us playing. I pray most of us approve and not left head scratching .
