I have never seen so many dumbfounded supporters. Head shaking. Incredulous.
I have to leave home at 6pm to get to home matches and don't get back til 11pm.
I feel as though I've lost 5 hours of my life.
I cannot EVER remember my team playing as badly.

1.) 04 Oct 2018 14:39:32
You should have seen them play away at Wigan. I've never seen such woeful football.

2.) 04 Oct 2018 20:53:21
Well you’ve defo got short memories then

3.) 04 Oct 2018 21:14:01
Maybe you should try watching Sutton, that was woeful last night as was the previous one against rotherham.

4.) 05 Oct 2018 00:26:54
Yet 5th in table was minutes away

5.) 05 Oct 2018 08:36:25
Ff799: I was at the Rotherham match. The team played well, were on top the whole game and Osborn gained a penalty, so you and I obviously saw a different game.

6.) 05 Oct 2018 11:23:45
If you think the Rotherham game was good besred you need to go to spec savers.

7.) 06 Oct 2018 09:13:57
I didn't actually say the game was good in itself, the game was very average, but we rarely put a foot wrong and played better than I have witnessed over the last several years, but then I guess you are only concerned about negative criticism for its own sake. One loss in 13 matches so far is not too bad a start overall.

8.) 06 Oct 2018 09:15:13
Talking of spec-savers it's bsered not besred.

Good news re team selection today guys.
Aparantly Mills is in contention for a Barnsley recall.

Gazzibaldi

1.) 14 Apr 2018 14:33:20
May as well use Gary Mills 😁

19 Feb 2018 22:08:23
God help us if we ever end up in league one.
If Rochdale and Wigan are anything to go by, it wouldn't be a foregone conclusion that we would bounce straight back.
It makes survival this season even more crucial.

Gazzibaldi

1.) 20 Feb 2018 00:48:05
Wigan are going up with Blackburn. Rochdale will probably get relegated.

Question is why didn't we sign Will Grigg when we had the chance?

2.) 20 Feb 2018 15:06:03
Will grigg to light the forest fire again 🔥 🔥 🔥

31 Jan 2018 12:45:32
Really hope we get Colback.
Not a big guy by any means but he plays with aggression. He has bite. He will show our pussy footed tackle shy so called midfielders how to get stuck in.

Gazzibaldi

1.) 31 Jan 2018 14:36:20
Agreed every week I see out powder puff posers owned and roughed up by big strong teams who work and hassle for everyball .

11 Jan 2018 18:41:59
Looks like Naismith is the second light weight Scot NOT signing for us.
AK's influence starting to tell already.

Gazzibaldi

1.) 11 Jan 2018 19:56:21
Had we been linked to him then??

Let me put it this way.
A highly paid manager is employed by a company. This manager then changes virtually all of his staff and replaces them with his personal choices.
He then tells them to work how he wants them to work.
The end product turns out to be unsatisfactory and the company's customers say they are not happy with what they are expected to buy.
So what should the manager do?
A. Admit his methods are not working and start changing them.
B. Criticise his customers.
Just a thought.

Gazzibaldi

1.) 22 Oct 2018 16:03:04
Or C Apologise to the customers he has insulted?

2.) 22 Oct 2018 16:03:45
Gaz he's said wrong and I'm sure he regrets what he's said now .the fans will be there 2 back the team again Wednesday and hopefully he will get things right on the pitch 3 points and a good performance and on the way to putting things right ready for a hard run up to Xmas if were intop 10 come Xmas after some hard games coming up he would of done well

3.) 22 Oct 2018 17:56:11
Skegs you say he's done well if we're in top 10 by Christmas , mate I think you've had a few bumps on the dodgems , he's had a year in the job had millions to spend and you'd be happy with top 10, we should be minimum top 6 , I don't think the owners would be happy with that , they sacked breadman with only 9 points off the play offs with our youth team and gave him very little backing , we weren't far off being a side to challenge in the championship last season without all the wholesale changes AK has brought in , Robinson Dawson Collback Geddy and Lolly around £3 million would have done nicely

4.) 22 Oct 2018 18:25:40
Lol Skegby no bumps on head here just being realistic everyone on here knows I'm not a big karsnka can from day one but with is defence that still can't cope with set plays into the box is average goalkeeper that can't keep hold of balls and the way he sets his teams up defensively a top 10 by Xmas would be a excellent result for us and him now if he played the right players and played more offensive football we would be top 6 then January add a decent goalie cover for the defence then I think we would be a very hard team to beat after January but like ibkeep saying it's not what team that turns up on the day it's what manager turns up Jekyll and Hyde

5.) 22 Oct 2018 19:01:11
Very good post Skegs.

6.) 22 Oct 2018 20:06:43
Skegs are we hard to beat I think we've had some lucky escapes this season if Bolton beat us on Wednesday they will have the same number of points as us and they are in 18th place , I'm just very disappointed with Karanka I think this season the league is very winnable but he keeps making such awful decisions with tactics and team selection , after saying that I hope we win on Wednesday

7.) 22 Oct 2018 20:24:07
If people didn't choose to be offended when it suited them then no one would be moaning about how they interpreted krankie's words. Mountains out of molehills springs to mind. Boo-hoo

21 Oct 2018 21:00:38
Yesterday I went to the match full of optimism. The crowd were really up for it. Full house in full voice.
First ten minutes we were very good. High press. Tackles won. Movement up front culminating in a cracking ball from Carvallho and a neat if slightly missed kicked finish.

THAT'S WHERE IT ALL WENT DOWN HILL FAST. apart from a bit of brilliance by Lolley.
So where did it go wrong?
A goalkeeper, I use the term lightly because he is the worst I have ever seen in a Forest shirt going way back to the mid sixties. A second rate right back who should be secobd choice.

A left back who cannot play in that position as much as he tries and a centre half ( Hefele) who has now had two awful home games.
Moving forward or should I say sideways, we have two ultra defensive midfielders who cannot play together, a right midfielder who couldn't tackle a marshmallow and a centre forward who did nothing after scoring.

No blame to Fox and Lolley and I thought Carvallho did ok ish.
All of the above meant we were yet again dreadful and under the circumstances I thought the crowd were still behind them.

So when I heard Karankas interview, I was disgusted with the man.
He is not fit to manage our fantastic club. 27000 Forest fans served an ultra defensive load of drivel once again and he has the audacity to have a go at us. Appalling. The team will continue to have my support of course but AK can bloody well do one for all I care.
Thumbs down from me!

Gazzibaldi

1.) 21 Oct 2018 21:28:33
Great post. Absolutely spot on!

2.) 21 Oct 2018 23:18:59
Another one overreacting to Karnkie's comments.

3.) 22 Oct 2018 08:53:25
Ak’s comments were a diversionary tool to deflect criticism from the team but most of all himself , he got it wrong Saturday, but credit where it’s due Norwich were excellent, people do tend to forget nobody had more goes at the forest and derby fans than the great man himself, but he did it from a position of strength generally Ak got loads to prove and his team needs to win more games clough was a one off and had a glittering track record having a dig at the fans is a very risky strategy hope he can back it up

20 Oct 2018 11:31:28
I wrote on here yesterday that I would like to see some great football.
Imagine my surprise when i got a thumbs down.
Someone on here wants us to play crap.
Own up. Who are you?

14 Oct 2018 15:25:04
As it was non league day yesterday, I was wondering if any one on here went to a local game.
I went to watch my old team. I used too play for Dunkirk fc who now play in the Midland premier league (level 7 on the pyramid) very good standard and cracking game of football. Dunkirk fc 2 Coventry Sphinx 0.

Gazzibaldi

1.) 14 Oct 2018 18:02:33
What is 'non league day'?

2.) 14 Oct 2018 18:36:35
Proper football eh gazz, i used to play for Melton in the central midlands league, premier division, about 95th on the pyramid.

3.) 14 Oct 2018 21:23:00
Football it's is .
Proper? Em?🤔

4.) 14 Oct 2018 21:16:05
It's a great way of supporting local non league ( any level below league 2).
As it was the International break and no premier or championship football, non league clubs offer discount entrance to attract bigger crowds. It usually doubles their average attendance. I had a pint, burger and entrance fee for just a fiver. Plus it's good honest football.
Try it next time mate.

5.) 14 Oct 2018 23:04:07
Yes Ff. Proper football. The stuff millions play every Saturday for fun or a bit of pocket money if they are good enough to get paid. Many people put hour upon hour to run these teams. Many of these clubs are academies which mean they also have 4 or 5 junior teams run by volunteers.

Remember where we got Garry Birtles from? Long Eaton. Wes Morgan, Dunkirk. And our very own current hero Joe Lolly started out in non league.
So yes mate. Proper!

6.) 15 Oct 2018 12:43:24
Good to take part in,but not so good to watch, rather watch young kids play.
Watching non league football just doesn't do it for me I'm afraid.
If you enjoy it that's all the matters.

29 Sep 2018 22:46:05
Having watched Portugal play very successfully in the past few years.
Winning the euros without Ronaldo, it is their team work and work rate and agression that really stands out.
So its very disappointing when our three Portuguese lads are lacking In the areas the national team excels at.
I hope they can turn it round. Not sure they can though.

Gazzibaldi

1.) 29 Sep 2018 23:20:44
Jesus. We never stop bashing these potuguese lads. Season started in August, it's still only seotember. Their in a new country in a new league. People need to lay off and give them a chance

2.) 29 Sep 2018 23:23:37
Thought they just drew everything?🤔
Can't remember them winning a game in normal time?
But can remember the captain was ronoldo.🤔
The Portuguese lads are technically gifted, but you need a bit more than that to survive the championship

3.) 30 Sep 2018 10:08:17
Kirkbyred people will focus on a record signing, these are the players that are meant to give the extra quality to the team, carvallhio has looked lost and is not adding anything at the moment,in fact especially away from home he is a bit of a passenger,I don’t blame him but think the manager could have done better with this huge chunk of his budget, this lad looks no better than zac clough, who in fact started quite well at the club,my gut feeling is that he won’t be here next season hope I am wrong, but think all of you waiting for him to settle in and suddenly become a driving force in our midfield are in for a long and disappointing wait

4.) 30 Sep 2018 12:38:46
Completely agree Stevie. I hope we are proved wrong though.

5.) 30 Sep 2018 12:40:35
Watch the Portugal u21s, goncalves is their top goalscorer and top assister, carvalho is their talisman, everything runs through him. We just have to be patient, they will come good. Does annoy me though when people say 50 million worth of talent like we've spent that, we've spent 13 million on one lad. He's still only 20/21, give him time

6.) 30 Sep 2018 13:53:27
I don’t think we intended him to run the midfield , I think we thought he’d create that extra creative spark and flair. We’re not getting that from any of them at the moment and much of your post is accurate. I don’t buy this give them time argument. If time is needed they weren’t the players for us. Dias and Goncalves no worries as we are only minimally financially exposed and it was worth a gamble. If caravhlo, like Goncalves was on loan with a few to a move I think there would be less concern. We should give him a season before we become critical though. Seems a lack of acceptance around here that questions can’t be asked about the sense of spending the money without it being viewed as on the players backs. Strange how the constant deluge of criticism fired at Watson and darikwa is ok though.

7.) 30 Sep 2018 15:12:57
2star sad to say some on here assume because he cost a lot of money he must be good

8.) 30 Sep 2018 16:36:35
Maybe more a case of not wanting to admit that we might have dropped an expensive clanger. Deep down every forest fan that’s seen a few games must feel a bit disappointed, I wasn’t expecting ronaldo but I was expecting a player who could change games or strongly influence them in periods , not all games every game but some games some of the time. Flashes of it in the second half against Rotherham so let’s try and KTF for now. Irrespective if him being a Karanka favourite I don’t think AK is scared to turf any player out if they’re not up to it. We have more reasons than not to trust AK at the moment so I’m going to take that position for now.

Can the A team gell like the B team did? Time will tell.

I completely agree ff.
We have an abundance of midfielders. Unfortunately none of them are playing particularly well. If we are genuinely aiming for promotion, we need much better. Not good management initially but at least he seems to be doing something about it.
