Aitor is the second sacked manager to say things were changed during his tenure, Warburton said the goalposts were moved, Aitor has now said the project was changed.

Martin has now worked out what suits the players he has been working with so get rid of all the players he has no use for, as much as is possible that is, and get about 4 players that are a big improvement on what we have that suit yesterday's formula.

We can then see good football as the team gradually improve both as a team, but result wise, then hopefully they will have done enough until a further 2 or 3 quality additions arrive in the January for one last big push for promotion, be it automatically or via the play offs.

I just hope Martin does not abandon what worked, or was it players just playing to leave, i so hope not.

Apart from a question mark over Pants most of those players will stay with us I think. One of the problems will be that the system may not work with other teams opposing us and so MON will have to change formations to suit opponents.

Bsered, We have 44 players i'm sure there must be a dozen the club would like to get rid of at least, just how many are willing to go is another matter.

Althohgh you have a point about needing to change tactics to get the better of other teams, but we need to get enough players that suit a particular tactic, and to get it off to a fine art.

All this talk about shipping players not being retained and getting rid of them is nonsense, most of them will still be under contract. Whether MON is here or not it will very difficult to get rid of players under contract, what other clubs will want them ? You cannot force them out on loan. I cannot see our owners paying contracts off.

64, At the end of day, be it on loan or being bought, how much do they want to play.

Off course the club will not get rid of all the players that they want out but there must be about 8 players out of contract, and not all the loan players will be kept after their season long loans are up.
