Just shows how far we have sunk under this maniac when people get " excited " about an alleged Â£1 million signing from a Greek 2nd division club and today you see Wednesday preparing a Â£12 million bid for Ross McCormack, a man who scored just under 30 goals in a team that just avoided relegation last season! That is how far we have sunk and anybody who has any ideas of even the play offs are deluded. The most important part of the footballing year is before it starts and that is pre season when a manager is in place with a set transfer budget, players secured or on the " radar, a sound back room staff a competent CEO, and above all an owner who has confidence in his recruitments and let he experts of the game get on with it! Can anybody tell me any of my points are actually being actioned or have I missed something! This takeover might have hit trouble " along the line ", in fact it might have fallen through but it would be nice as fans to be kept " in the loop "! All you read in the NEP is what this or that legend thinks about the situation, the very people who have either not had the guts to enter management like Birtles ( legend, come on! ) or Mcgovern who tried and failed miserably! My point being the information should be coming from the real people in the know like Fawaz! As you can appreciate fed up with the club!

I'm getting absolutely sick of all the abuse being thrown at Fawaz. Who do you think you are calling him a maniac? How do you know it's Fawaz that's bid for this player that is wanted by 3 other clubs all bigger and more successful than us right now. As for Wednesday and Â£12 million for a 29 yr old? Who cares? This is a site for NFFC fans to have banter. It is not a site to personally abuse anyone especially the Owner. If you feel you need to do that please do it elsewhere.

I understand your frustration but when there is nothing to report all a newspaper can do is speculate through its columnists it has to fill the sports pages somehow. I do believe a deal is being put together but my own feeling is that the loan of 67 million from the AL Hasawi family might be the issue. There doesn't appear to be any formal agreement for repayment. No one is going to invest unless they are certain when that money will be demanded.

The Greek deal is dead. Fawaz wanted 300k a year to be director, the Greek chap has looked into Forest and can see no good financial return so has pulled the plug.

OJ71 I know the Greeks have pulled out I was only letting people know so we don't get our hopes up, I have had a season ticket for 30 years and my children have one also. I do hope the mess we are in is sorted out soon.

Jeremyforest, i have been a Forest fan since 1961 when i married a Newark girl, the nature of my occupations R.N. and Ocean going tugs, when i settled down it was in my home county of Dorset so a bit far for a Saturday round trip also three children so to expensive, all i am saying is tell us what your source is so we all can check it out.

I am 73 now and get to as many games as i can i live nearer to Nottingham, i love Forest and hate the shambolic current state of affairs, so if you are certain of your post let us all in on itðŸ˜Ž.
