Jackson Irvine going to Brighton. Our new midfielder will be confirmed as Gary Gardener within the next 24 hrs.

nick26

1.) 27 Jul 2017 13:34:27
Good. Irvine will be a poor signing for Brighton mark my words, he works hard but technically he isn't very good and would not fit in to our ethos. I know Gardners last loan spell wasn't great but he has proved he can be a big asset for Forest and MW will get him up to his best I'm sure.

2.) 27 Jul 2017 15:11:02
Perhaps not! On the Forest Club site it's announcing that Andreas Bouchalakis has signed a three year contract - not a one year loan as widely reported. So could he be the new midfielder arriving imminently?

3.) 27 Jul 2017 15:12:47
Bouchalakis just signed on a perminant deal, three year contract.

4.) 27 Jul 2017 15:54:44
Was saying yesterday that we would sign two midfielder though, one being Bouchalakis and another. Though the Bouchalakis deal is perm rather than loan I still expect another midfielder by the weekend.

16 Jul 2017 05:42:48
What's happened with the Michael Hector loan move from Chelsea?

nick26

1.) 16 Jul 2017 06:19:57
Nothing.

31 Jan 2017 11:18:20
McCormack in on loan from villa and Gboly Aribiyi from Chesterfield? Both good sources according to reports. McCormack has always terrorised us and would be a very useful addition.

nick26

1.) 31 Jan 2017 11:42:24
McCormack is a goal scorer at championship level, not doing great at Villa and maybe a change might see him come good again. Don't know much about the other lad. Forest also said to have made contact about Bogle. Looks like a busy day ahead. let's hope for a good outcome.

Ariyibi undergoing medical at Forest now according to Sky.

4.) 31 Jan 2017 12:13:36
Buy or loan for Ariyibi? Is he any good?

5.) 31 Jan 2017 12:37:11
Permanent deal. Out of contract in summer so nominal fee as per Chambers. Still plenty of the £6 million left Fawaz?

6.) 31 Jan 2017 14:03:32
If all these players supposedly coming who's fawaz selling expect the worst reds fans.

25 Jan 2017 09:21:07
Forest after Matty James from Leicester on loan but James prefers a move to Barnsley according to rumours.

nick26

1.) 25 Jan 2017 10:05:35
No thanks he is not fully recovered from an injury, that is why they want him out on loan to get fit, we have enoughof them. If GB is meeting FAH in London tonight who is going to be at Leeds😎

2.) 25 Jan 2017 11:19:06
Brazil met Fawaz on Tuesday evening.

3.) 25 Jan 2017 12:04:41
I don't think he will improve the squad.

16 Jan 2017 16:02:24
Pat Murphy top midlands journo and hugely respected has said that we are to announce DOF and finance director within the next week. Has Fawaz realised at last that the club has to get something right before it's too late?

nick26

1.) 16 Jan 2017 16:17:31
Jobs for his brothers

2.) 16 Jan 2017 16:39:50
Finally realised he needs help only took him four years.

3.) 16 Jan 2017 17:10:10
I'll give them a month before they realise what kind of man they're working for then they'll be gone like all the rest.

4.) 16 Jan 2017 17:33:13
Dead cert to be a nepotism appointment so my money is on Al-Capone and Al-Jolson? Boom boom!

Happy new year to you all. Haven't been on for a while after refusing to participate in a certain persons posts, who now by the way is ranting on the NEP website. Been thinking about new managers being mentioned and it seems that whoever gets the job is doomed before he starts according to the posts on this site. The new regime including owner has far more football knowledge than FAH and although perhaps only in Greece has become used to winning and that's probably the reason for the sacking of MW and his team. After achieving his first goal of getting the fans back attending games again I for one would be surprised to see a so called smaller name In Heckingbottom. People have mocked today the likes of Tuchel being mentioned? Marinakis is no fool so don't be surprised if someone we least expect is appointed, even if that is a big name. The one thing that every true Forest fan should do is accept the decision and Support the club. MW was a nice guy and I was desperate for him to succeed but in a results business, his were simply not good enough. Whoever the new man is, I for one hope you can achieve what everyone who cares for our great club wants.

1.) 06 Jan 2018 19:57:38
Lol Nick, I saw them he other night - like ten successive Rants! Bizarre !

2.) 06 Jan 2018 19:59:00
That’s a phenomenal post Nick.

3.) 06 Jan 2018 20:22:15
Oh Nick, if I’d have known I was keeping you away I wouldn’t have made the resolution not to post on here anymore !!

Glad you are still reading guys. I hope my arguments are not to complicated for you.

4.) 06 Jan 2018 20:29:31
I hope your grammar is not "to complicated" (sic.) either. Stay in your self-imposed exile, Wishey. Saying people may find your posts too complicated, then employing the wrong grammar, just about sums you up. Insulting people's intelligence and making basic primary school English mistakes is hilarious.

5.) 06 Jan 2018 20:51:10
Hogpuma

Everyone makes mistakes, just as you have missing the second o off the too complicated.

6.) 06 Jan 2018 20:52:29
I bet half a dozen people in Cambridge are laughing their socks off at that one hogpuma.

How many times did you check your own post for grammatical errors, before pressing the reply button?

7.) 06 Jan 2018 21:00:40
Yippee he’s back. !

8.) 06 Jan 2018 21:19:45
It’s not the grammer nor is it the complication of your posts, it's just that there wrong!

9.) 06 Jan 2018 21:33:13
Grey and Red. Er, yes. That's what the sic. is there for. I was pointing out that, whilst insulting everyone else on this site by insinuating that his posts were "to complicated" (sic.) he make a schoolboy error with his grammar. Perhaps he should think twice before leaving insulting posts.

10.) 06 Jan 2018 21:50:30
Greyandredman that's "sic" 😅😅😅

11.) 06 Jan 2018 21:59:07
Contain yourself 2 Star, I’m not stopping.

Just couldn’t resist playing gooseberry. So touching, to be the catalyst that brought you together.

To get a grammar lesson TOO was a bonus.

12.) 06 Jan 2018 22:02:03
Your post wasn't too complicated for me, hogpuma.😉

13.) 06 Jan 2018 22:28:05
Oh there you go again hogpuma.

I was not having a go at ‘everyone’. There are several people, who post on this site, I have the upmost respect for. I was actually having a go ‘back’ at two posters who were having a a laugh at my expense, because the brave little warriors didn’t think I was here.

Thanks for the grammar lesson (Sic. indeed)

14.) 06 Jan 2018 22:31:39
Thank you, Scouse. I don't like arrogant hypocrites who ranted that calling Warburton 'Breadman' was disrespectful then insulted the intelligence of those who disagreed with him. Nobody likes a Contrary Mary, even if she does know her way round a hoe.

15.) 06 Jan 2018 22:39:38
There's some fishermen on here tonight.

16.) 06 Jan 2018 23:00:21
I wouldn’t disrespect your intelligence hogpuma, that’s been bought and paid for, that has.

Now I’ve thanked you for my grammar lesson and I’m sure Greyandredman appreciated his Latin lesson, but if I want insulting I have to tell you, you’ll have to up your game. Contrary Mary! I’m cut to the quick, I am. However am I going to sleep.

17.) 06 Jan 2018 23:07:28
Why don’t you stick around wishey ? After all it’s only banter and 22 muppets prancing around on a football pitch.
By the way Nicks post about the manager is what I applaud.

18.) 07 Jan 2018 02:27:00
Scouseduckred

Not only did i find it too complicated, i found it 2 complicated. 😁

19.) 07 Jan 2018 09:22:17
FF79

I thought he had missed the (kle) to spell sickle and he was wanting to help the grounds people cut the pitch. 😁 😁 😁 😁

20.) 07 Jan 2018 17:02:17
Wishey your posts are far from complicated or complex.
You have been sulking since hovis went hence the scarlet pimpernel act of disappearing and not getting the role as manager of forest has upset you further.
So lay off hogpuma because his grammar bothers you.

18 Jul 2017 15:15:23
Really pleased with the BA business as far as the amount is concerned. Would really like to see a properly proven goal scorer come in now as we have the youth already. Cameron Jerome or Gary Hooper for me. Probably get either for around £4 million in today's crazy market. Got a feeling however that it might end up being a loan from premiership. Would still love to see a real strong leader in midfield as that is essential.

nick26

1.) 18 Jul 2017 15:57:40
The worry is they might try and get by with the current squad citing 'the need for financial prudence' etc.

2.) 18 Jul 2017 16:57:33
The Britt deal was only a good one if the money is reinvested into the right areas.

Given we;ve been second best in midfield for donkeys, i'd start with two central midfielders to get the ball out quicker and address that woeful concession rate.

Then get a right back who offers natural width and a left back.

Any money left goes towards a striker and a consistently reliable CB.

3.) 18 Jul 2017 17:32:35
Totally agree mate!

4.) 18 Jul 2017 18:39:15
Are next signings will be a right back a center mid a keeper and an out and out striker.

5.) 18 Jul 2017 23:09:14
I agree with cjay. If we are to spend a few million on any player it would be centre mid for me. With the young strikers we have Brereton, Cummings, Clough I believe they should be given the chance to fill the void left by Britt and maybe signing someone like Murphy for a season with all his experience will help bring these lads on.

30 Jan 2017 11:33:46
Why amongst all these names being mentioned are there no strikers? We need more up front than we've got right now. Cameron Jerome/ Gary Hooper would both be available on loan and both score goals in championship.

nick26

1.) 30 Jan 2017 12:05:49
I was thinking the same thing myself, we need a striker, can't be putting all the pressure on Britt. Thought we might take a chance on Bogle? Maybe Hooper or Jerome on loan then go get Bogle.

2.) 30 Jan 2017 12:22:56
Rotherham already bid £1 million for Bogle and been turned down. Not sure it's worth spending so much on a player unproven Daz.

3.) 30 Jan 2017 12:56:19
I think that our new striker made his debut last week.

4.) 30 Jan 2017 12:55:37
Why would we need more strikers, we already have three as well as young Ben Brereton. If Velios or Bendtner are leaving that is a different matter, but otherwise more strikers would be wasting money we do not have. Our strikers will score when we start creating chances again. Over the last couple of games we have concentrated on defence. If injuries do not bite again we seem to have improved at the back.

5.) 30 Jan 2017 15:04:38
Bendtner has 2 goals this season. Velios never gets a kick. Hardly prolific.

25 Jan 2017 13:24:25
Collymore now suggests he's been in conversation with top EFL manager who would come to Forest if the right structure is in place. Really fed up with all the hot air that's spouted and nothing at the end of it.

nick26

1.) 25 Jan 2017 14:30:31
Might as well delete that ed. Collymore now doesn't want a job? The circus continues and things get more ridiculous by the hour not the day.

24 Jan 2017 17:15:28
So another day passes and no CEO as promised? Where is Stan meeting Fawaz and what time? Need a decision on new manager sorted now so a decision is made on incomings and getting rid of useless loans in Kasami & Dumitru etc. Fawaz, you decided that you wanted to be the owner still so get it sorted!!!!!

nick26

1.) 24 Jan 2017 17:50:43
I've no idea why people are suddenly entranced by collymore. Amazing player for sure. But loves media attention and that's his goal. Why someone with no experience in running a company, a football club or even a newspaper round is suddenly going to offer us some magical insight, some supreme solution, I've no idea. No doubt we won't have to wait long for any update. They'll be tweeting post it. No prospective buyer will want that I suspect either, which is what we should all be looking out for. He'll do more harm than good in my opinion. sorry

2.) 24 Jan 2017 18:27:14
Because we are desperate to believe in something or someone, that's what happens when you're in the gutter and starving - which in a footballing context is what we are.

3.) 24 Jan 2017 18:34:55
You are of course correct
I was overly rude and dismissive in my post and I recognise that. We need all the help we can get. I'm cautious but let's see as you say

4.) 24 Jan 2017 19:49:52
Stan made a hash of things and wasted his talent. I think he has learnt a lot and grown up. I have listened to him and his knowledge of football on and off the field is impressive. He says he has people who are well respected talking to him about the roles forest need to fill. With his contacts i believe him. Yea he likes the sound of his own voice but he can't make anything worse can he

5.) 24 Jan 2017 21:08:49
He was one of the first players ruined by a particularly ruthless agent. Should have stayed at forest and would have earned 50 England caps. He probably realised that far too late. I don't think he has any agenda outside of having Forests best wishes at heart.

6.) 24 Jan 2017 21:57:34
He loves us because as always we take great players into our hearts and idolise them. When you have bad times both parties fans and players probably cherish those risks more and recall them as being even better than they were. There can be no doubt collymore never reached the heights he did at forest and he's had bad times too.

He was absolute dynamite at forest and for two years terroised the opposition and made me proud to follow forest. He was the kind of talisman that we all loved shame in the end he became a bit of a candle in the wind. He gave me same untouchable memories though. That goal at the molineux - sheer class.

7.) 25 Jan 2017 05:34:07
collymore more than likely went to a few certain spots after the game

Reliable source? What the Yorkshire post and Northern Echo who are both running the story. Lazy journalists as usual link new manager with old clubs playing staff.

MW always says his team will be well prepared in every press conference. Well Mr Warburton you are becoming a very predictable man on and off the pitch. Earn your pay and sort it out quickly because much more of this and you will not be in a job.

Did you actually watch him play? He would be worth every penny of anything around £4 million. The one player we are in desperate need off. Strong tackles, good distribution and plays games without being injured. He is a very good player at championship level.

Fox is not a good reserve CB. He is rubbish. We need rid of him,Hobbs,Mills and Traore. Problem being who will have any of them? Smith needs some time out on loan. AK has one hell of a job rebuilding a strong defensive line.

Red that post is almost exactly what I was going to say. We are desperate for an experienced keeper, CB, LB and centre forward although maybe in Velios we have him already at the club? We also desperately need a captain/leader. Question is will Karanka get the funds because more youngsters on loans is not what we need.

How on earth can you put Worrall in the same bracket as a £75 million pound signing? Worrall has not been that consand £12 million should be snapped up. What we need is experience at the back. If we had that it’s unlikely he would make our 1st team let alone a premier league club.

2 star absolutely spot on. Couldn’t ever figure why MW seemed to have so much support with a truly awful record especially when he seemed to contradict himself. His word when he joined was he likes to work with a small squad of 22 players and doesn’t like too many changes?

Joe Worrall will leave. It’s just how it is now. £12 million for a 20 year old and like Burke will hardly kick a ball.Burnley or Brighton most likely destinations.
