Ok, depressing result yesterday but here's some reasons to be cheerful.
Firstly, we were narrowly beaten by a more expensively assembled team who'd had a full week off ( and didn't have an extra time Cup replay 3 days before), minus 3 key players at AFCON plus Woody out.
Secondly, at some point VAR must work for us just by the law of averages. 2 clear penalties which the ref missed ( and VAR )!
Taiwo is getting back to full fitness, likewise Felipe.
We have a full week off on the training ground to work on our defensive frailties.
AFCON nearly finished
The lads all put a shift in and clearly want to play for Nuno and the supporters. Wasn't lack of effort and spirit that cost us yesterday.
I'm confident we will get the points needed to stay up however FFP is the unknown factor. Even a 5 to 8 deduction we can overcome.
Sheffield Utds win means Derby have maintained their famous points record ??????.

I actually like and agree whole heartily with you post stokey. Well thought out and observed. The level if nuno bashing after so few games, AFCON and injury is getting a bit silly ?.

DTP, you are not your usual positive self. Yes, we gave them their goals, but in an attacking sense we are much improved. Don't lose faith, mate. It’s harder to score goals than stop them. We are going to have to do better, I know, but West Ham conceded six today, so we are going to have to take advantage of their lack of confidence. Three points Saturday and Newcastle will be forgotten.
