Carayol is now complaining he was not given a fair chance with Forest.

If he was not training hard enough how did he expect to to start games, coming off the bench to score a long range effort then doing nothing else is not the way to start games.

1.) 16 Feb 2018 21:36:15
McCarthy gets a tune out of all our cast offs maybe he's got a point?

2.) 17 Feb 2018 07:07:13
Perhaps he should have not been injured so much.

3.) 17 Feb 2018 09:39:47
Musthavea chip on his shoulder.😐

4.) 17 Feb 2018 13:29:07
Mustaphanotherclubnextseason has been the archetype journeyman footballer all his career. We should never have signed him in the first place! Good riddance.

Lolley is a solid signing who will give us good service.

5.) 17 Feb 2018 15:29:15
Cheers Eric!!!😠😠😠

15 Feb 2018 18:09:29
It is no surprise that AK has said he will be making changes against B A, but where will they be and how many is there going to be is going to be telling what he thinks of the old guard.

Making a lot of changes could be as bad as making no changes at all, all the players, no matter how good they are have to know mess up once and it will be overlooked, but mess up twice and you are out.

Some players are definitely not quite fit enough, but that is understandable, some are mentally drained, and others are just not strong enough either physically or mentally.

I just hope AK manages to do enough to keep us up, then given the summer to get done what needs to be done. If the club keep the manager they need to back him similarly to how they did in January, not necessarily how many but within reason gives him what he says he needs.

I do not think he is either useless, or the answer to all our problems but if we stay up then stick with him till next November, then take it from there.

Robertson was the King

1.) 15 Feb 2018 19:44:33
If he doesn't change the back 4 then he will need his head seeing too. Also really needs to go 4 4 2

2.) 15 Feb 2018 21:17:28
Back four picks itself.
Not much he can do other than put an untried kid in at centre back or an unfit left back.
And forget two up front won't happen on Karanka watch.

3.) 15 Feb 2018 21:31:56
Ff, does Mancienne and Worral keep their places? I think ond or both will go. Do you know if Hobbs has died?
My honest opinion is that their is nothing to lose from massive changes. The minimum from sat is a battling draw. In reality we need to take the game to them, we need some fire in the offensive!

4.) 15 Feb 2018 22:39:23
Hobbs is done forget him.
Do you drop manciene or Worrall?
How?
Think he'll drop Eric and put darikwa in and keep those two.
Only going by what he's done so far,and has no option other than that or play figuro
We've still got fox,a total liability wherever you play him or an unfit Spaniard.
You can change the team as much as you like,it's the tactics that are totally wrong for this squad,if there's no change in tactics then I fear the worst.

5.) 15 Feb 2018 22:53:24
Was it hull who made massive changes against us it worked for them ok just saying πŸ˜•

6.) 15 Feb 2018 23:21:00
Yep they did it twice and beat us both times,
Adkins got it spot on both times, run at fox and it worked any fan can see that never mind a manager.
But the chosen one hasn't seen that yet.

7.) 16 Feb 2018 07:50:40
FF did Karanka steal your mrs or something?

8.) 16 Feb 2018 07:54:26
I'm not that lucky V3πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

9.) 16 Feb 2018 10:44:39
Re-Sign Matty Mills!!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

10.) 16 Feb 2018 11:33:20
Mills hair band could play better than him.

11.) 16 Feb 2018 12:38:22
Making Ben Watson captain should be priority which is a start.

12.) 16 Feb 2018 15:03:10
I think we will see the new CB come in and will play a back 3 with 2 wing backs. Fox is not good enough to have no cover behind him, teams target him every time, and every time it works, this is why 3 CBs works better for us, ideally Fox wouldn't be on the pitch at all. Brereton despite his recent lack of form should be up front (someone needs to show him a replay of the Arsenal game and ask him where that player has gone). Osbourne, Watson, Colback and Geddy in midfield.

Panto
Lichaj Worall Mancienne Figueiredo Fox
Colback
Geddy Watson Osbourne
Brereton

13.) 16 Feb 2018 16:25:33
Murphy will play but expect worral or msncienne or both to drop out. Watson with the arm band hopefully

14.) 16 Feb 2018 18:13:53
Personal expecting something like
Pantillimon
Worrall Tobias Fox
Cash Colback Guedioura Watson Osbourne
Murphy

15.) 16 Feb 2018 19:08:21
One would at least expect a full team.

16.) 17 Feb 2018 09:14:53
My prediction regarding today's team? Not one person, on here, will get it bob on. I expect only 2 or 3 changes from the last game. We need to score first, definitely and if we score 2 we win. Probably a hard fought 0-0 or 1-1, as we have to stop the rot and keep the gap to the bottom 3. I remember hiding behind the couch when the monsters came on Doctor Who, today feels like a couch moment, I pray it's safe to come out at 4.50.😲

17.) 17 Feb 2018 09:21:11
At least we can count on you.πŸ‘πŸ˜€

18.) 17 Feb 2018 14:28:45
With you on that one Scouseduckred. Hard not to know what is / was the more scary the monsters from doctor who or our current defending. to be fair they both get me heading for behind the sofa lol

The goalkeeper rumoured to join Forest has been said to be following Forest on instagram, whatever that is.

Robertson was the King

1.) 08 Feb 2018 10:28:00
Read a report alleging that Marinakis had a say in the release of the Greek goalie, because he made a couple of mistakes against AEK,hope he don't try the same thing here βš“

2.) 08 Feb 2018 12:26:13
Just had a look about the instagram and it’s true. He’s followed forest. He’ll likely be signing then.

06 Feb 2018 17:45:48
Murphy finally back in training, doubt he will even manage the subs bench for a couple of games though.

Robertson was the King

02 Feb 2018 19:58:26
Percy saying Watson in on loan, thought his contract was terminated.

Official site saying Tarore on loan to Cardiff, again thought his contract was terminated.

Robertson was the King

1.) 02 Feb 2018 20:37:26
Isn’t loans as you say both had contracts terminated but might but might just be short term contracts until the summer.

2.) 02 Feb 2018 22:49:27
Watson can't join now on loan only free agents are allowed otherwise all clubs would still be signing players.
Rules end of

3.) 02 Feb 2018 23:10:01
Watson is a free agent when forest come in for him he had it terminated that what the papers said

4.) 03 Feb 2018 08:13:20
Watson is a free agent contract terminated.

Graham Alexander has praised Ryan Yates, saying he was superb. He went on to also say.

It was his first game in League 1 and the tempo caught him in the first 10 minutes or so. He is a intelligent player though and realised to move the ball quicker and the type of game it was, the quality and speed of it. For the next 70 minutes he was superb.

Robertson was the King

1.) 15 Feb 2018 09:37:13
I think he could be a top player Robbo.

08 Feb 2018 18:19:16
So we have both a left back, and goalkeeper join us.

Will we be getting a striker soon?

Robertson was the King

1.) 08 Feb 2018 18:29:42
You don't tend to find strikers on the football scrap heap.

2.) 08 Feb 2018 19:24:09
Yeh . i have to say some great business but obvious that we do lack firepower and i personally think another centre-back. Am i being greedy ?

3.) 08 Feb 2018 19:32:22
Hopefully are firepower will come from midfield because it ain’t happening up front

4.) 08 Feb 2018 19:40:28
lol πŸ˜† FF you miserable git! We need some wins don’t we pal. Some faith restoration is badly needed isn’t it. I see the world you see and feel quite uneasy right now. We need a win and we need it Saturday.

5.) 08 Feb 2018 19:47:50
Like it 2 star and ain't that the truth.

6.) 08 Feb 2018 19:48:49
Saturday is the one 2star I would be happy if we took a point Saturday give the team a bit more time to gel a loss Saturday and we’re getting sucked into a relegation battle but hopefully the ☝️As bought a load of battlers in players that want to play well to resurrect there career and grateful for the chance to play first team football again it could be a very smart move from ☝️Or a disastrous one

7.) 08 Feb 2018 20:06:44
Lol skeggs πŸ–’πŸ–’πŸ–’πŸŽ’πŸŽ’πŸŽ’

8.) 08 Feb 2018 20:10:36
One more signing and we've got a full team? How about Dimetru?he's bound to be available. 😲😲

9.) 08 Feb 2018 20:13:21
Is that that berk we had last season?

10.) 08 Feb 2018 20:15:01
It’s massive skeg, battlers no doubt, players easily good enough for the championship but can we get a goal ? I really do hope so 🀞🀞🀞

11.) 08 Feb 2018 20:47:38
Ff79, lol no 🎒🎒🎒 at the minute more like downhill β›·β›·β›· we just need a bit of πŸ₯ŠπŸ₯ŠπŸ₯Š.

12.) 08 Feb 2018 21:14:45
Pay attention, surely you all can now see Karanka has built a new team around Vellios!

Play direct in the final third and the ball into him from out wide while keeping us solid in midfield on the break?

Simples!

Forest 3 v Hull 1

13.) 08 Feb 2018 21:29:34
Must admit I think the same AK as now got a team that will more than compete but scoring is looking a problem.
I’m sure they have tried to sign a striker but showing what’s happened this last week if they could they would
We are now left with players before AK on that position that is a worry
Bereton I really don’t rate shows no sign to me he will get much better
Murphy too old can’t play more than maybe 60 mins a game
Velios left out too much probably attitude been affected
If we had a striker we could scare a few this season
What do you lot think

14.) 08 Feb 2018 21:30:09
Well Karanka did say he prefers a small squad with quality always the best policy over quantity.
I see that nowπŸ€”

15.) 08 Feb 2018 21:41:37
Red Freddie 4 good signings the others are signings for signings sake.
Said it before put two up top, especially home games, give the opposition something to think about

16.) 08 Feb 2018 21:52:44
And you were happy with the squad before Karanka took over 79? Perhaps you could provide some clarity on your expectations just so he knows πŸ˜†

17.) 08 Feb 2018 21:55:49
Lol sad day for us forest fans after all the great strikers we’ve had we’re now shouting for a bloke called Velios πŸ˜₯

18.) 08 Feb 2018 21:59:43
He's assembled a formidable midfield one that protects the defensive but can also create, and for me that's been our problem all season and no matter how good a striker is, if we don't create we are not going to score many.
Come Saturday we are going to see a new forest era and not dire football that we've been used to.

19.) 08 Feb 2018 22:17:47
We could show FF79 that there is strikers on the scrap heap and sign. That β€˜rusty old car’ Marty FryattπŸ‘

20.) 08 Feb 2018 23:20:09
Perks just to clarify I expect him to keep us in this division and no excuses.
All for improving the squad but not some of the signings are just a stab in the dark.
Four good midfielders signed the rest are just a gamble both in fitness and team morale.
He must like doing jigsaw and knitting,he's got the pieces, now let's see if he can knit them together, really hope so
3 points a must saturday

21.) 09 Feb 2018 00:26:07
A gamble in your opinion not Karankas and I trust his a bit more than yours.

22.) 09 Feb 2018 08:12:37
I can see how you trust him?
New managers always come in and you get that bounce factor and performances and results improve?πŸ€”πŸ€”

23.) 09 Feb 2018 11:06:13
Krankie will come good.

24.) 09 Feb 2018 11:44:30
FF79 seems to have got lost in all the excitement claiming the signings other than the midfielders are shots in the dark!
Tomlin is a proven class act at this level and will be more consistent than McKay
Lolley is an experienced Championship wide man and a major upgrade on Mustapharestafterevery5mins.
Dejagah likewise and both will create chances with good passing
Tobias cannot be any worse than Mills and is playing for a contract
We have yet to sign a bad Spanish defender
Both goalkeepers are an upgrade on what we have and Pantilimon is only on loan while we get to the summer.
Karanka knows exactly what he is doing so for me onwards and upwards!

25.) 09 Feb 2018 11:48:32
Aye up fawaz is back, been a bit quiet lately mate?

26.) 09 Feb 2018 12:21:20
The krankies sound good at the minute fawaz πŸ˜€

27.) 09 Feb 2018 12:46:16
Red I think your too easily led .
You said Warburton knew what he was doing, now the winds blowing in a different direction.
They'd be called journeyman any other season, but it's ok now because Karanka can't possibly fail.

28.) 09 Feb 2018 13:03:34
FF79, i find it odd, many in here wanted experienced players that knew the Championship. Now they are here they are journeymen.

29.) 09 Feb 2018 13:25:30
I've got no problem with most he signed especially Watson geddy colback tomlin if fit and Lolly.
They know the championship.
The rest you can keep they are journeyman who cudnt find a club.

30.) 09 Feb 2018 16:04:50
FF79
Not sure who you think is leading me? Always said I could see what MW was trying to achieve with his tactics but that he would fail with recruiting Scots, square pegs in round holes and breaking the golden rule with his lightweight midfield selections!
So unlike much of your hot air my wind has always been blowing in the same direction.
Karanka is a step up from Warburton and his "journeymen" will do us a better job than the dross he has shipped out!

31.) 09 Feb 2018 16:18:09
We shall see my freind and I hope he does and even if it goes wrong I won't be calling for his head.
Had enough of manager merrygoround.

08 Feb 2018 15:52:28
Fryatt is bitter at his treatment from the club.

I was forgotten, and treated like a rusty old car, so he said.

Very good player but we never got the best of him due to his bad luck.

Robertson was the King

1.) 08 Feb 2018 16:45:57
He got paid a lot of money for doing nothing had is private ops paid for sorry but think he done well out of it most of us that go sick for a few weeks get 80 quid week sick money is sick money would make you feel a whole lot better πŸ˜€

2.) 08 Feb 2018 17:07:09
Paid full wages for 3 years, and his operations, off course that does not happen to most people that have long term problems with injuries.

That does not mean he was not a good footballer, or he was not unlucky with his injury.

3.) 08 Feb 2018 17:39:16
Totally ungrateful.

4.) 08 Feb 2018 22:03:53
Rusty old car failed his mot for me !!!

07 Feb 2018 20:49:06
Pantilimon

Lichaj Worrall, Mancienne Tobias

Bridcutt Watson

Guedioura Cash

Colback

Berereton

Would anybody fancy that side against Hull?

Robertson was the King

1.) 07 Feb 2018 21:08:06
We are at home Robbo.

2.) 07 Feb 2018 21:14:28
Would like to see the team without our inspirational skipper lol and a new pairing and watson with the armband.

3.) 07 Feb 2018 21:16:53
What's all the fuss about picking sides with pants in it.
He might be big and fills the goal.
But basically he's a poor goalkeeper.
Only played one game and "COSTA"us.
Been a problem throughout his career.
That's why he's never "COSTA LOT".😁😁

4.) 07 Feb 2018 21:20:33
Robbo, i’d Prefer not to see cash and Brereton as first choice at the minute mate. They need time to develop and time is something we haven’t got at the moment

5.) 07 Feb 2018 21:23:22
Bring Smith back against hull."COSTEL"you what pants will cost us.

6.) 07 Feb 2018 21:26:05
Lichaj and Tobias getting forward in possession, but keeping behind Guedioura and Cash as they surge forward when possible. Guedioura and Cash supplying Colback and Berereton.

Guedioura, Colback, and Watson breaking down the oppositions attacks in different parts of the pitch.

If done right it might work, it was just an idea, AK most likely will do something completely different.

How would you set up?

7.) 07 Feb 2018 21:55:56
That side Robbo has scored a grand total of 5 all season and Eric got three.
Might work with Eric up topπŸ€”πŸ€”

8.) 07 Feb 2018 22:02:00
Fair pount 2star.

9.) 08 Feb 2018 09:51:02
Cash is still learning and brereton has not got goals in him. For the time Ben has had its right now to give veios game time. He needs more matches to get up to speed. Offers more than murphy too.

10.) 08 Feb 2018 10:55:11
I see our chief scout FF79 has already consigned our number 1 to the dustbin after one game? I wonder whether he has recruited the Greek Tragedy as back up?

Have some faith in AK?

11.) 08 Feb 2018 11:23:28
Just don't rate him red and neither do clubs that's why he's been shipped around from club to club and ended up fourth choice at watford.
Just a panic signing to me.

12.) 08 Feb 2018 12:09:52
I thought Smith was improving and looking a good prospect. I’m not sure our recent slump has been his fault albeit he did cost us a point against Villa. People say he’s not vocal enough and maybe this is the reason.

13.) 08 Feb 2018 12:25:21
Thing is 2 star Smith must be thinking how come I got dropped after Preston when I saw my captain turn in a discracefull display and cost us the game and yet he keeps his place.
Then watch pants do a howler and then find we are signing another keeper as well?

14.) 08 Feb 2018 12:39:51
FF79, i will be surprised if many of our defence survive the summer cull if AK is still in charge.

I agree Pantilimon was a panic buy once the guy we bid 4.4 million for was not going to join us.

15.) 08 Feb 2018 12:56:30
Don't think we bid for that guy in Italy, rumour is we went back for Ronnow again but he turned us down.

16.) 08 Feb 2018 21:30:59
Given the squad was not sorted in the summer as MW spent his holidays in Scotland AK was never going to fill in all the gaps in one window but gets an 8/10 from me!

The goalie is on loan having clearly tried to sign top targets. The Greek is a gift to tide us over and earn a contract.

Smith needs a season on loan as a number 1 elsewhere rather than learning on the job in the most competitive league in the world?

So be grateful for the changes and show the love rather than sniping because you have signed better players on your consoles!

Come the summer we will have a new top class keeper on our books and a new striker. Brereton needs to go across the Trent next season on loan if Notts go up and learn how to score week in week out!

01 Feb 2018 21:01:28
The transfer window was a good one, but I'm not thinking though our results are going to improve dramatically overnight.

The players will take time to understand the others how they each work, and what the manager wants from them.

The way AK got the lads to beat Wolves, and the new signings have not had time work together for very long i think AK will have them fairly organised within the next six games and a steady improvement with each game from their.

We will be comfortable in the tabe i believe, but the signings are not going to gell instantly, and should they do more credit to AK.

Robertson was the King

1.) 02 Feb 2018 14:58:56
Agreed "Robbo". let's hope the new players click sooner rather than later,as it wouldn't take long to be sucked into another relegation battle,I doubt it though!!! We've brought in guys who know this league. so come on Forest!!! Give us the lift we so desperately need!!! COYRS!!!!

Carlo

All the players that have had a moan once leaving have had more than one manager not rate them enough to play them regularly, when they were fit.

I have read somewhere that a player AK brought in saying he likes AK, but he can be blunt.

Perhaps some of the players with a poor attitude do not like being told so.

I think there will be no surprises to the starting line-up, just who will be on the bench, and how quickly they get on the pitch.
