Steve Cotterill meeting this morning at 11am @ city ground, i have got a meeting there at 1pm, gonna try and find out some more information.

Hopefully post some more solid info this afternoon.

Believable8 Unbelievable23

Must be a long meeting you're in, are you on the board!?

Agree0 Disagree0

No im a cleaner, its a staff meeting

Agree0 Disagree0

Your inside info is about as much use as your mop!

Agree0 Disagree0

Im not a cleaner, i am finance analysis for NCC and i was there to discuss this years payment for the city ground, but thats another story that i would rather not go in to.

Cotterill has emerged as the favourite to take over, a small stumbling block as always with a skint club, Portsmouth will insist on compensation in the region of around 300k, he is happy to come and work with the squad of players he has at present.

Also to put to bed these rumours of the club being sold to chinese and american consortium, is also just viscous rumours and they definately have not made enquiries about buying the city ground from the City Council.

If i hear anymore i will post.

Good luck!

Like the CM-E touch at the end.

Nigel Clough's move back to Nottingham Forest is off - because he does not have the proper coaching badges. Under new regulations brought in last summer, Championship clubs can only appoint bosses with A or Pro licences but Clough only has a B licence.

Great news , but I'm told that you can apply to the course to upgrade at anytime and the FA will allow you to move clubs , not the greatest bit of journalism I've ever read.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agreed sounds like a very small hurdle, surely when the sheep offer him a new contract at the end of the year he'll need to be upgraded then

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldn't want him anyway - he is not his Dad folks !!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes not his dad no , but the best of a bad bunch ?

Agree0 Disagree0

I disagree, i think he would be good, one day he WILL come, maybe not for the next couple of seasons but eventually.

Agree0 Disagree0

Has no class and has made his dislike of the club very clear at post match interviews. No dignity so stuff him. Best of with the sheep.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with u on that basis, that he does diss forest, but thats cos hes with Derby, its what u say about your rivl club, for all i care he can stay with the sheep, but he maybe a better option then some of the other favourites eh?

Agree0 Disagree0

The deal is'nt off because the deal was never on in the first place. Just a load of bull.

Agree0 Disagree0

The daily mirror got it wrong those rules dont come into affect untill the 2012/2013 season so it is still remotely possible

Agree0 Disagree0

More chance of knitting fog than of clough going back there, he hates the club

Agree0 Disagree0

What exactly has achieved at Championship level?
