does ne1 know what the startin 11 was against spurs last nite ??? did it change much 2nd half ?? herd joe gardner looked very good last nite .....

Believable3 Unbelievable5

Forest: Camp (Darlow 54), Moloney, Chambers (Freeman 45), Morgan (Lascelles 76), Lynch, Gunter, Majewski, Cohen, McGugan (Meadows 67), Tudgay (Garner 45), McGoldrick (Findley 45). Subs not used: Smith, Watson, {Ed007's Note - Thanks for that}

Agree0 Disagree0

Thank you

Agree0 Disagree0

Who's this Joe Gardner you talk about ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Good that garner looks good, he deserves a chance, boy can finish. good to see young lads making an impact. if we make the signings that are rumoured things will be looking up, i wanna see us bring some homegrown lads through into the first team

Agree0 Disagree0

Who is Joe Gardner ??

Agree0 Disagree0

Foret all that the young lad at the back for spurs in portugal was 15 and is serbian. he is going to be a top top player. how do i know sat in front of his agent at the game. the lad who scored twice is also looking for a loan move, both would be good signings. On a lower note Lee Camp looked very pi$$ed off when leaving the field on Friday and refused to answer any questions about wether he was staying or not. Read into it what you will

Agree0 Disagree0

Joe garner needs to be given a chance he is still very young keep him loan out tudgay

Billy sharp is the striker that will sign monday

Believable16 Unbelievable12

Hope so he is sik

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh please let this be so.....

Agree0 Disagree0

Who says? Why spend 3 million when Garner is the same type of player unless Mcgoldrick is part of the deal.No need for more strikers at the club before a left back for instance.

Agree0 Disagree0

The way the Doncaster chairman reacted when we approached him about Mills, I think this would have been all over the media if it was true.

Agree0 Disagree0

Leeds and ipswich chasing sharp

Agree0 Disagree0

So its slipped under the radar and he's signing now? Dont think so.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes Right of course he is, Too much falling over juice?

Greening to be confirmed monday, routledge could follow but it may be tuesday instead.

moussi will also sign a new deal monday

forest are also in talks a striker a left back, a central midfielder and a centre back. Maynard is not the striker, however they are monitoring the the bristol city player.

Believable11 Unbelievable8

Routledge is signing for Swansea City mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

Monitoring? What does that mean?....nothing.
We either bid for him or not, there's no in between.

STEVE McClaren hopes Nottingham Forest will complete at least two new signings on Monday as well as securing the return of Guy Moussi.

While the Reds boss also insisted that the club are not interested in selling keeper Lee Camp.

Fulham midfielder Jonathan Greening and Newcastle winger Wayne Routledge are the two players expected to sign for Forest. While McClaren also wants to seal a new contract with Frenchman Moussi.

"When it comes to signings, we are expecting news on Monday, " said McClaren, who saw his side produce a promising display amid a 3-2 defeat to Spurs in Portugal last night.

"It may be more than one player, we are working on a few things at the moment.

"We hope it is more than one because we need them. We need to fill this team with more senior, experienced players.

"We need new faces. Hopefully they will come soon. Hopefully we can get something sorted by Monday. We need to build this squad, to build this team."

Swansea have been linked with a £2m bid for skipper Camp, but McClaren says Forest do not want to sell.

"He is absolutely not a player we want to see leaving. We want to keep our best players here and he is one of those players, " said McClaren.

"We want to sign players, not let them go. And hopefully there will be news on Moussi on Monday as well. The fans wanted to see him back and the players like him as well. It is important that we get him back.

"It is important that he plays for us this season. I have stressed that from day one. Hopefully we can talk about that on Monday also."

source nottingham evening post

Believable17 Unbelievable3

Well they should never of let his contract run out in the first place, idiots, also why ant people looking at what he said, the key word being HOPEFULLY so we are in reality far from concluding any deal soon, and i ll stick by that given our track record, anyway who said Routledge was one of the named players? He is having a medical at Swansea tomorrow or at least in talks with them

Agree0 Disagree0

You do know that we offered him a contract before his deal expired, he was the one to let it run out, trying to engineer more money by claiming premium teams were after him but no contracts were offered by west brom Stoke or everton ( the clubs that had supposedly shown interest) so the the rumours about derby Ipswich and another champ team surfaced, he is only signing as he didn't get a better offer from a club wIth a realistic shot of gOing up and the bonuses he'll get.
Pure greed from a poor mans viera IMO
And before you kick off I am a forest fan

Agree0 Disagree0

Comparing any championship player to viera is unfair... really? come on, moussi a solid player at this level could do a job lower prem but noone in our league deserves that comparison...

and why not let it run out? we didnt sort it out. we offered a contract when he could legally talk to other clubs. player isnt at fault here.

that said, too much been made of it. come monday we'll see signings and everything will be better.

£1mil offer made for lee camp by swansea
How insulting is that , lets just hope forest tell them where they can stick it

Believable11 Unbelievable7

Im a Swansea fan. How long has Camp got left to run on his contract? And to be honest i think there is no truth in this what so ever, i think its all press talk.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe swansea are taking mick like mark arthur did with pratley

Agree0 Disagree0

If we lose camp we r in serious trouble

Agree0 Disagree0

To the Swansea fan, his contract expires in 2013, so he has 2 years left to run. No chance of getting him cheap my friend

Agree0 Disagree0

And im sure he doesnt want to move to the english premier league with a welsh club who are going to end up back in the championship next year

Agree0 Disagree0

Camp to Swansea ? only for 8mill

Agree0 Disagree0

2m for pratley wasn't a p*** take and they just lost him for nothing without him hardly playing a game this season. Even swansea fans say that they would have been much better off selling him.

If they've really bid 1m for Camp jacks fans better watch out: this seasons blackpool they will be.

Shorey happy to stay at West Brom, source newsnow westbrom.

Believable18 Unbelievable10

Complete lie Just been on and there's no mention of that. Muppet

Agree0 Disagree0

If we start our third season without a permanent recognised left back our so called Aquisitions Panel wants their a*ses kicking out of the club

Agree0 Disagree0

The post is there but its an old one and takes some finding. dont know whos sadder the person for posting or me for searching for it

routledge is not one of the signings to be unveiled early next week. Jonathan Greening, Guy Moussi and a new back up keeper will be the players revealed to the media on monday

Believable1 Unbelievable15

McClaren has said he hopes its Routledge. We have Camp, Darlow as well as reserve keepers including the Bulgarian lad who signed last month

Agree0 Disagree0

Just telling you what I've heard. Routledge doesn't want to join Leicester anymore so you could be right

Agree0 Disagree0

Worrying thing is though, if we are skint and are looking to do a deal with Swansea for Camp, the keeper theory could be true- but as Camps replacememt not understudy. The though scares me to death. If ND had of given BD a measily 1m in either of the Jan windows from the last 2 seasons we wouldn't be in this bloody mess - total joke, and if he thinks he's getting me to part with my hard earned this season, he's a bigger nobba than I thought

Agree0 Disagree0

What happened to Smith was his contract up and gone to middlesborough?

Agree0 Disagree0

Smith was on bench friday night

Agree0 Disagree0

16 Jul 2011 14:09:05
SM talking about a triple boost isnt 3 signings, just 2 (Greening looking close to certain and the other is Routledge). Boost 3 is Moussi being expected to sign a new deal.

According to bbc sport wales Swansea make bid 4 Camp

Believable12 Unbelievable5

Took you a while to know. We're not selling though.

Agree0 Disagree0

It would have to be huge for forest to let him go and its not like smith or darlow are up to scratch

Agree0 Disagree0

They offered 1m which I think is an insult. If he is allowed to leave for that there will be a revolt

Agree0 Disagree0

It's outrages, it's meant to be 1m

Agree0 Disagree0

Camp going would be a nightmare, although very worried he's been trying darlow out quite a bit

Agree0 Disagree0

Schteeve basically told Swansea to go and f**k off, according to NEP.

Agree0 Disagree0

They didnt sell us Pratley so we ll never sell Camp

Agree0 Disagree0

Marther's already told them where to go...

Forest are gonna play extream hard ball, becuase swansea wasted so much of forest's time with pratley.

Agree0 Disagree0

1 million...no chance...
4 million... maybe

Agree0 Disagree0

Darlow only played a couple of times. Obviously expected to try out different keepers in pre-seaon, dont read into that. SM also said we're in no need to sell.

Agree0 Disagree0

They haven't got a cat in hells chance

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes worth more than 4mil easy

Agree0 Disagree0

He'd have to gofor at laest 5 mill

Agree0 Disagree0

8 million sounds like a nice figure

2 million = international player
2 million = playing 99% games
2 million = having no weakness's
2 million = not selling us pratley ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

I like the comment about stringing Swansea along, but what is best for the club is to tell Swansea he is not for sale at any price.

and add as they are welsh, the price would be double if he was for sale

Agree0 Disagree0

I hear its 1 million. Cheeky fluffing kents Didnt we pay more than that for him to Q.P.R?

Agree0 Disagree0

Nah we got him for 250k which was the bargain of the century

Here is some news for you all. As we all know Three signings along with Moose to be unvailed on Monday. We are also looking to bring in a striker from the Premier League, or so i hear? And the final piece of news centres on McClarens number 2, a little bird tells me that Steve McClaren has been speaking to Roy Keane about filling this post.

Believable15 Unbelievable9

Would be nice to see Keane. But could you see him playing second fiddle to SM. Maybe he could play left-back

Agree0 Disagree0

I would love return for keano as unlikley as it is and glad to hear moussi might b signing

Agree0 Disagree0

Keane wants a break from management but has said he would be interested in coaching/assistant but forest werent mentioned as a potential destination

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah, could happily see a return for a player from the Clough era. Not a great manager but he has the fire in his belly that Schteve doesn't show outwardly. Could be a good combination if true.

big mac has said in the NEP that there will be 3 signings unveiled on monday ,
everyone has their money on the moose , greening and routledge ,
i wont pretend to know who but i honestly have it on very good aurthority that the 3rd signing wont be routledge but someone who hasnt even been on the fans radar
i dont know how good or how bad just that its someone unexpected

Believable17 Unbelievable6

He said hopefully ? Not we will? I expect we wiil tho. The Moose, Greening, Routledge and Shorey.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ffs some just read way too much in to anything , he said haopes to we will sign is a big difference

I can guarantee that there is no truth in the Ricardo fuller rumour- He isn't prepared to drop a division.

Shorey also distanced himself from a return to forest.

However, we enquired about two players on Friday. Dundee United striker David goodwillie and versatile arsenal forward Jay Emmanuel Thomas

Believable7 Unbelievable11

I can guaruntee it as well, e is still recovering from ankle ligament damage and not even in training.

the signings monday are greening, shorey and routledge, we also very close to getting goodwillie and fuller, expect moussi to re sign

Believable7 Unbelievable10

Shorey said he wants to say at WBA :(

Agree0 Disagree0

I made up the Fuller rumour last week, just a player I would like to see nit one who would come. Can't believe how many people now quoting it, funny

Agree0 Disagree0

We need 1 great striker like maynard or sharp . Goodwille and fuller are ok but a waste of money tbh

Agree0 Disagree0

It appears that Swansea have put an increased offer in for Routledge so that will finish off that possibility as we cannot compete ith prem wages.

Agree0 Disagree0

16 Jul 2011 09:33:27
latest from portugal - for a very depleated team last night we did very well, and it shows that we have have kept our best players. freeman looked fantastic, the signings monday are -
greening
routledge
shorey

moussi is set to re sign along with a centre back, apparently deals have been done with 2 strikers but typical forest we cannot announce it until maybe mid next week, (goodwillie fuller) at least things are finally picking up.

Signings will come for Forest in near future but McClaren has other this to sort first like the reserve and youth teams.

I was told this by the head of Supporters Club while in Portugal

Believable4 Unbelievable10

BS the reserve team and the youth team isnt the priority here.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets add Ishmael Miller to our list instead of overpriced Maynard.Miller is a powerhouse with a price tag far less and would create goals for those around him. Reckon 1.5 million could get him from WBA.

Agree0 Disagree0

Obviously Mark Arthur does see it as the priority

Agree0 Disagree0

Bull, the first team is the most important to sort out as the others are already in place so why post dross in the 1st place?
