Garner is on his way out. Didn't impress Schteve yesterday when he had to take him off to stop him being sent off (in a friendly).

As soon as we get another striker in he will be off, probably back to carlisle or to rejoin col at hibs.

Believable4 Unbelievable10

Good player but a firery character cant see him leaving tho

Agree0 Disagree0

No mcca said he would give him another chance

Agree0 Disagree0

Do u just make crap up did go to the game ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Forgot you know mclaren

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah apparently its all true and in a shock move Tevez will transfer to the city ground because its slightly closer to Argentina than Manchester is. This will means the journey to see his children will be 7 and a half minutes less flying from the East Midlands Airport. The author of this rumour sound well connected with the Forest heirachy and Steve Mclaren. Probably the same person that is saying Mcgugan is interested in Derby.

Hey, been hearing that Forest are waiting to see the 25 man Premier league squads, in order to see if any left-backs are available. Also, Ed or anyone, do you have any idea whether we will be making bids for Billy Sharp, or Wesley Verhoek, and also who looks more likely to sign Wayne Routledge, us or Swansea, as to say two teams have had bids accepted it's gone very quite.

Believable7 Unbelievable4

We look more likely for routledge at the moment, and acording to dutch press we have made a new bid that has been accepted for verhoek.

of course, these are RUMOURS and deals arent done til there done, unfortunatly we just have to wait.

Agree0 Disagree0

The left back thing is very much true and to add to it I know that we are looking at a fulham Left Back in particular but i do not know who. Not heard anything about billy sharp but I can tell you that we have definately bid for wesley verhoek as he said that forest are in talks with Den Haag and he is waiting to see if we can reach an agreement. Source: Press Talk (I found the website the article is on and translated it to English) Also, we are apparently likely to sign routledge in the next couple of days. Source: Press Talk on the official site again. Hope this helps

Looks like stevd mc is on collistion course with ap due 2 lack of transfers source sunday express REDMAN

Believable3 Unbelievable12

Old story, where have you been

Agree0 Disagree0

Express has a huge problem with forest mate, always writing negative stuff about us... Such a poor article as well, not one qoute, total speculation...

:(

Agree0 Disagree0

Come off it, that article is poor journalism at best and seems to be blowing a one sentence comment from Macca as sone declaration of war.

Agree0 Disagree0

Story is three weeks old Cutting edge journalism from the express ;(

Agree0 Disagree0

Express Yesterday's news tomorrow

Agree0 Disagree0

New manager, same old story.

Heard bigmac looking at poss getting Wayne bridge in on loan to fill the left back spot

Believable6 Unbelievable12

Wayne on his way to new York cosmos

Agree0 Disagree0

Seeing as new york cosmos arent a team, that could be difficult. (yes, i realise the cosmos franchise is back, but a little research would show they arent a club again yet and are aiming to join the mls in the next few years... do some research before posting)

Agree0 Disagree0

Wayne Bridge is just in the New York Cosmos squad for Paul Scholes's testimonial, the club doesnt actually exist yet numpty

Agree0 Disagree0

Stick your attitude. New york cosmos are playing man united at old Trafford August 5. Wayne bridge is set to be captain and has been offered a player coach development role. Check your facts plank

Agree0 Disagree0

How can it not exist if they are playing a game

The left back situation at the Reds is now not going to be addressed as Macca has been impressed with young Freeman and Mallony so will let them compete for it with Lynch also a capable option- The allocated 1.5 million for that area will now be put towards the signings of more attacking options.

Believable6 Unbelievable14

If this is true, i guess we have to trust macca. i dont want to see gunter playing there, he's wasted going forwards on the left

Agree0 Disagree0

However, i have heard forest are gonna wait it out for a long term loan towards the end of the transfer window, when the 25 man squads are named...

Agree0 Disagree0

Of course it's not true. Unless he is Steve McClaren how would he know this? Telepathy? Anal Probing?

Agree0 Disagree0

Freeman has been played in midfield whilst Moloney has been playing right back, so I can't see how they have been impressing Steve at left back. If we don't bring anyone in I think we'll be seeing Lynch starting on the left with Freeman as the reserve

Agree0 Disagree0

Moloney will probs be cover for gunter snd freeman cover for new lb with lynch cover for morgan snd chambo tho we do need another cb

Wesley verhoek, Wayne routledege and billy sharp are forests main targets at the moment along with a left back from a European club.

Believable11 Unbelievable7

If this is true it would be good, Forest looked good yesterday against VFB just missing an out and out striker, I like Garner but needs to control his temper or we will playing with 10 men all the time if he plays

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe the part about verhoek and routledge but unsure about billy sharp? is this just a rumour because there has been no press talk about him moving

Apparently Wayne Routledge is set to join Forest in the next few days as the deal with Leicester which was ongoing is now dead and Wesley Verhoek is interested in signing for Forest as he is now waiting for both clubs to reach agreement as a bid was accepted and thought to be in the region of 2 million. Lee Camp and Luke Chambers will be also staying at the city ground.

Believable20 Unbelievable10

If true that would be amazing but that a huge IF

Agree0 Disagree0

Why is it always in a few days?

Wesley verheok and routledge are nearly completed deals, Monday will will table a bid for David goodwillie for around 1.8 million and also jay Emmanuel Thomas could be on his way. 4 great additions but no closer to a left back. Have been told we will not get one until the prem teams have announced there 25 man squad and then we can acquire some quality loan additions.

Believable15 Unbelievable10

Not sure we want someone like goodwillie in the dressing room. would miles prefer sharp

Agree0 Disagree0

Arsenal fan - apparently you guys have not yet bid for jay Emmanuel thomas but he is waiting for you to table a bid as he has offers from Portsmouth Ipswich and burnley, and hasn't yet taken any of them up. He wants a club like urself or leicester has he would have a good chance of prem football next year. If your manager can sort his attitude will be a fantastic signing as he talent is undoughted. Would take 1.2 million with a massive sell on clause.

Believable8 Unbelievable9

Didn't look good on loan to Cardiff, looked a bit lazy and a bit off the pace plus his attitude wasn't great. I know that he started off as a defender/defensive midfielder and I think those would be his best positions. He's not what we need at the moment i.e. a 20 goal + a season striker.

Agree0 Disagree0

If his talent is undoubted why are you trying to get rid of him?

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you his Dad or Agent then? We do not want a young boy wearing our Number 9 shirt thanks

forest are in talks with john fleck and darren cole two youngsters from rangers cole is a left back and fleck can play upfront or midfield very good source and fleck has been high on smc radar since he joined just nobody has picked up on it

Believable8 Unbelievable9

Darren Cole is a R.B , not a L.B

The Mercury understands City have failed to follow up their interest in Wayne Routledge.
City had inquired about the Newcastle United winger but have not returned with an offer for the 26-year-old who looks set to join Nottingham Forest in the next few days.

Forest have agreed a fee with ADO Den Haag. believed to be around 2.3 million for Wesley verhoek. The player is said to be very keen on a move to forest and the deal is expected to be done by Wednesday.

Believable13 Unbelievable7

Source?

Agree0 Disagree0

Source? Hope it's True tho COYR

Agree0 Disagree0

Great another midfielder can he play left back. We MUST sort the weak spot. If this is true we won't sign routledge u heard that the Mavetz deal is close at 2.7 million but they are stalling for add ons

Agree0 Disagree0

Can he play left back? how many wingers do we need...

Agree0 Disagree0

Need to no your source, this is an outstanding player we will be lucky to have, very highy regarded in holland, "the next big premier league star", Terry Butcher said.

Agree0 Disagree0

No they haven't - it's fell through. He's off to the Prem. .

Agree0 Disagree0

Great player

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be nice but i heard routledge will be here on wed , so where would he play ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Already been reported that we've missed out on him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Time will tell but i wont hold my breath

Agree0 Disagree0

Verhoek is wanted by Aston Villa, Mcliesh tried to sign him for Birmingham, but Verhoek did not want to play on the championship. So doubtful we will get him

Agree0 Disagree0

He apparently said on dutch tv that he wants to come and play for forest, would be a great addition but then what we do with routledge and anderson because we wont need 3 right wingers

Agree0 Disagree0

Verhoek can play upfront

Agree0 Disagree0

Verhoek is a left-winger isn't he?

Agree0 Disagree0

Nothing wrong with depth people, something we have lacked in the past. these are all players who can change a game

Agree0 Disagree0

Verhoek can play both flanks and outright striker very good signing if forest pull it of

Agree0 Disagree0

Why the hell are people moaning about having to many wingers? currently we have 2 'main' reid and ando, with mccleary as backup. not enough. dont give me rubbish about mcgugan and findley playing there either, neither of them are wingers. its a position where you need different options.

Agree0 Disagree0

He can play lw/rw, has to great feet and is pretty quick.takes corners with each foot too, 3.5 is what ive heard we've placed and thats the rumour coming from a couple of the players, routledge is going cold im afraid.west ham and wigan now in the chase
