The gardner deal is defo happening on Monday. Just sat in the next table to him at nandos in the corner house. Says he's excited for the challenge

Believable7 Unbelievable9

Pics or it didnt happen

Agree0 Disagree0

Is he having the 'stuffed cheese crust' or just the plain on?

Agree0 Disagree0

This will be a good step forward at last we have someone that would probably be happy to fight for a place in defence

Agree0 Disagree0

Stuff cheese crust @ Nandos? Now that is more believable, yet they don't even do pizza

Agree0 Disagree0

I reckon the gardner deal is on because its the sort of signing forest can afford. however seeing him in nando's and having a quick word with him making sure not interupt him eating his piri piri roast chicken and side order of fries is b*****ks

Agree0 Disagree0

It was myself that posted the original messages. I 100% spoke to him in nandos last night whilst he was waiting for his food to come. He was wearing a black hooded top and a red baseball cap with NY on the front. he said he is 100% signingon Monday. Please look out for my "told you so message" on Monday when it is revealed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Told you so, as Anthony's first words on signing are: "yeah, to help my mate, that fella who posted a message saying we chatted in Nando's within the Cornerhouse it's 100% true. Lay off him, I had the 1/2 lemon chicken, corn on the cob and spicy chips. It's true, honest"

Twitter: @theinsidecut : LFC are set to loan out Brad Jones to NFFC for a season. Why????

Believable8 Unbelievable5

Simple camps off

Agree0 Disagree0

Dout it

Agree0 Disagree0

I know for a fact this is complete bull as I know brad and he is likely to be going back to australia

Agree0 Disagree0

Terrible source too, he hasnt broke any news and is incredibly vague about his credentials

mcclaren ready for the dutch duo both are putting pen to paper.

Believable7 Unbelievable8

What's this more Double Dutch crap

Agree0 Disagree0

What dutch duo? verheok and who another pointless rumour you really need to get with the full programe

Agree0 Disagree0

Bryan Roy and Pierre Van Hooijdonk

Agree0 Disagree0

Wat dutch duo ?

Agree0 Disagree0

If youre gonna post rumours like this please cite your sources. oh wait, you dont have any

Agree0 Disagree0

Its steve mcclaren not malcolm mcclaren

Agree0 Disagree0

How do you know they are putting pen to paper

Agree0 Disagree0

You person its boateng and hasslebank

Agree0 Disagree0

Cos he looked in his magic crystal ball which told him everthing dont

Agree0 Disagree0

The two Hans, van Breukelen and Segers?

Agree0 Disagree0

The insider -

No chance of David goodwillie now, all people who thought it was a gamble to take him to a championship club, are very young. Fantastic young talent and now to many prem clubs in for him.

Routledge - picking up pace things should develop over the weekend. Would be a real good signing as his talent is undoughted at championship level.

Shorey may come on a loan deal with view to a perm if ridgwell completes his move to west brom.

Mcclaren currently looking at quality loan additions, as Leicester have made the first move in the prem loan market with johnson. We could see a left back , striker and left winger come in on loan.

Believable6 Unbelievable6

We have a left back, Cohan will be employed there

Agree0 Disagree0

Not much of an insider as nd said in nep today lb isnt on the list

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jul 2011 17:57:56
id prefer routledge to verheok reason is he has championship experience ok verheok is good player but i see routledge doing the job

Believable8 Unbelievable5

I cannot agree, Routlege is a good player at this level but Verhoek was voted second best player in Holland last season and had the most assists in the dutch league. He is premiership class

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jul 2011 17:41:32
Good to hear we are in talks with routledge, its been too quiet recently with transfers for forest

Believable9 Unbelievable2

29 Jul 2011 16:16:27
Rob Kelly confirmed as Mc Claren's no. 2

Believable10 Unbelievable4

This is impossibe, Deano has seen SM and NED speaking at length in Amici's about a 9 year contract.

Damn you and damn your lies.

Agree0 Disagree0

On forest web site so it's a done deal this was reported 6 weeks ago but as usual it's taken forever to sort it

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jul 2011 15:16:56
Routledge could be announced as a Forest Player by early tomorrow morning....hopefully

Believable12 Unbelievable10

I'm definitely not saying this is untrue but how do you know?

Agree0 Disagree0

Not according to the mirror. hes on 22k a week and so far negotations have proved fruitless. apparently deal is very doubtful but completely dead

Agree0 Disagree0

Have my doubts

Agree0 Disagree0

I'll believe this when i see it

Agree0 Disagree0

Were have you seen or heard this???

Agree0 Disagree0

When have we ever signed a player at the weekend

Agree0 Disagree0

When did we ever sack a manager on Sunday afternoon?

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jul 2011 13:56:23
ESPN Soccernet reporting Verhoek saying he wants to play for Rangers. Another one bites the dust Lincoln Rob.

Believable8 Unbelievable5

When was it on paper that we was going to sign him anyway?just paper talk...

Agree0 Disagree0

He also said that forest are a big club and blah blah blah I think it's down to who ever agree offer most wages so prob will not end up with the reds

Agree0 Disagree0

Well done forest (again)

Agree0 Disagree0

Sounds like a bounty hunter to me...a good player but looking at whoever pays the most....Newark Red

Agree0 Disagree0

Perhaps he hasn't heard forest have won the European cup...... Or perhaps he just thinks your gash

Agree0 Disagree0

Wanting to play & actually agreeing terms are leagues apart

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jul 2011 13:14:31
ADO Den Haag winger Wesley Verhoek has confirmed he wants to join Rangers.

"I will only leave here for a big challenge and for me Rangers are a fantastic club, but we aren't there yet as the clubs have still to agree a fee and after that I'll see what happens"

Really? isn't that what he said about us only last week? Or maybe the Scottish Sun have things twisted, the sun says it all I guess.

Believable8 Unbelievable4

29 Jul 2011 12:56:35
ND states in the post today number 1 target is routledge but 'doesnt know if it will happen'. paper also confirms it will be Cohen at left back (and before you start, he can play there, and if he does it with good grace i think he'll be very good too) and a LB isnt on the shopping list.

Priorities for SM are winger and striker, ND says 2 or 3 players to come in hopefully, but again, nothing concrete, so dont hold ya breath.

Believable6 Unbelievable5

Its all doesnt know, hopefully, maybe, i will tell it definate NO SIGNING not now not next monday not never NO MONEY.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nigel Doughty needs to wake up, we've needed a left-back for the past 3 seasons - I can't believe he's said that. Cohen was one of our best midfielders last season, he would be wasted at left back

Agree0 Disagree0

Nd didnt state anything of the sort

Agree0 Disagree0

It's a pity ND didn't make these comments before everybody bought their season tickets. Yep we've been suckered again

Agree0 Disagree0

To the guy who said ND didnt state anything of the sort... go and buy todays NEP if you dont believe me. it's there in black and white.

Agree0 Disagree0

No it ain't

Agree0 Disagree0

Come on cohen in my eyes is a s**t left back watching him track back it like watching someone running in bed in wellys....... from a A Block forest fan

Agree0 Disagree0

CC not the fastest out of the blocks but he NEVER gives up.........if he plays LB lets get behind him & give him a lift. COYR

Apparently a young Lad called Tom Cruise (not the actor) is training with us. He's a left back that has just been released by Arsenal. He's a product of the Arsenal academy.
Just up our street....... A freebie

Believable7 Unbelievable5

That would be a class act....Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's crap. So if he is training with us, it's a step backwards. Besides, where does he play.

90DC.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's rubbish. Go check out a carlisle forum.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wait & see.............think about last Wednesday night v PSV.............have u seen them play like they did in the 1st half for a while.................didn't think so. COYR

Nottingham Forest are stepping up their interest in Jong Tae-Se. Expect him to be in Nottingham for talks early next week.

Believable5 Unbelievable9

He would never get a work permit, North Korea are outside the top 70 of FIFA world rankings making it extremely difficult to get work permits, this is why Man City couldn't sign MacDonald Mariga 2 seasons ago (who obviously had quality/showed potential as now plays for Inter)

Agree0 Disagree0

Is that one of them watches del boy pushes on a saturday market

Agree0 Disagree0

Never actually heard of him ?

But a quick search make's him out to be a striker from south korea, and plays for a bundesliga 2 side, good scoring record and looks like a hard worker...

Who knows if its true or false...

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jul 2011 12:14:10
Ridgewell to sign for West Brom and due to his ability to play at both Centre Back and Left Back, they will allow Shorey to join Forest

Believable3 Unbelievable7

ND himself has stated in the NEP that SMC isnt after a left back as he believes that Cohen can play there with Lynch in reserve. According to article our number one target is now Routtlege.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant believe your still banging on about shorey

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jul 2011 11:40:17
Jordan Rhodes will be red by Monday. The young star is high on SM list.

Believable7 Unbelievable9

29 Jul 2011 11:28:20
ND confirm on ned website forest are NOT looking for a left back

Believable9 Unbelievable4

No he doesn't

Agree0 Disagree0

NEP is full of lies

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jul 2011 11:27:24
Freeman looked Like a good enough player when I saw him in Portugal.
No worse than Konchesky last season anyway

Believable5 Unbelievable3

That sounds good to me. Don't want Cohen playing there, though we have too many central midfielders and don't see Cohen down our flanks in midfield.

Agree0 Disagree0

CC will do better on the left flank than in the middle...........believe it.

Trasnfer Update - The insider

ROUTLEDGE - We are the only club in discussuin that have had an offer accepted, so as soon as wages have been sorted out a deal wil be done. he has been number one target all along. simply because of how good he is at championship level

Left back - expect cohn to start there but we will get a loan player maybe bertrand but am now hearing shorey is a possibility, they will be 6 month loan deals. why we cannot sign someone permanent i do not no.

Target man - mcclaren looking for experience, that why beattie has been linked, but have heard we are inquiring into the availability of ishmael miller.

Goodwillie - still do not no wether we are one of the 10 clubs chasing him, but a very promising talent.

Gardner - cover for centre back that deal is nearly done.

Robbie keane - dont belive a word, another pr stunt

No players will be leaving and expect lewis mcgugan to play in a much more advanced role this year

Believable11 Unbelievable1

Cohen is to be LB next season, ND confirms this. LB not on the shopping list, so dont even expect a loan. Freeman as cover.

routledge is number 1 target

striker is also high priority.

this confirmed by ND in evening post today

Agree0 Disagree0

Was this written last week? Not much of an insider.

Agree0 Disagree0

Goodwillie is going to Blackburn and Routledge to Swansea - awesome bit of inside knowledge that. Pillock

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jul 2011 10:50:25
If we are in talks with Routledge then we must pull our finger out as this has been dragging on for far too long. If we won't meet his wages then move on. We need this sorted one way or another. Lincoln Rob.

Believable6 Unbelievable1

Very true mate, he would be an amazing signing. need to sign this player come on you reds

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jul 2011 10:10:56

It appears that Nottingham Forest are the only club in discussions with Wayne Routledge.

Quote from Sven: "All I do is look at the Forest rumours page and whenever a player gets mentioned I just jump in and offer him/her more money than I know the Forest board will pay. Saves me scouting doesn't it. But ssh dont tell my bosses they think I actually work for my money"

Believable13 Unbelievable3

Even without a source, I believe this....

Agree0 Disagree0

Quality post Army

Agree0 Disagree0

So do i

29 Jul 2011 08:51:45
Left back not needed according to ND....Routledge top target, talks between Newcastle & Forest are underway.

Source NEP

Believable6 Unbelievable2

Left back not needed, that tells you every thing about doughtys knowledge of football

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jul 2011 08:04:59
ND interview on nep. 1. Cohen at left back 2. Routledge in talks with the club. 3. Still in the market for a winger if not routledge and also a striker

Believable4 Unbelievable3

28 Jul 2011 23:47:28
Any1 notice the ssn with Becks special interview on this monday. Strange that nottmail on twitter says big news on monday and even stranger previous sunday at CG was heavily with secuirty+ VC saying he would fund a loan move. Or is it ND way of saying whats the Becks. Wait + see. What u think ed.

Believable2 Unbelievable7

Hahaha.

Agree0 Disagree0

Source: Today's Mirror:

Nottingham Forest boss Steve McClaren is battling to complete a £2million deal for Wayne Routledge.

(I know it's the Mirror, but finger's crossed)

Believable5 Unbelievable2

It's in the evening post as well saying doughty confirmed it and that the price tag will likely be about 2 million

Agree0 Disagree0

Forget routledge, we have wingers. go for Sol Campbell 1 year player and a further year as youth coach. Win win in my eyes.A striker is needed i don't care what people say, boateng good for the moose but i would have let him go.( pressue got to him in the play-offs)

Agree0 Disagree0

Not just the Mirror. ND in the Post.

Agree0 Disagree0

Talks with routledge were going on yesterday

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jul 2011 00:43:35
Dont think forest r goin 2 do anymore buisness now cohen will play left back and freeman will b 1 of severel up and coming stars 2 b given a chance in the first team face facts forest dont or cant spent want 2 nurture the youth ie like they did with reid, dawson ect. REDMAN

Believable5 Unbelievable3

It is good that Forest nuture players like Reid and co...problem is they seem to sell these players at the point when they could make maximum contribution to the team. That might change if we can re-establish ourselves back in the Premier League..if that were to occur I am sure players would see the 'value' in remaining with the club To get promotion the club needs to invest in quality playing and coaching staff. While they have gone some way to doing that this year they now appear to be hesitating and I fear they have not recruited nearly enough quality at this stage to be real contenders for promotion.

Agree0 Disagree0

Get todays n e p

Agree0 Disagree0

Cohen is below average at best as a left back and how do you assume that young players who've never kicked a ball in the first team are up and coming stars?

mid table at best
