VICTOR CHANDLER to buy forest at the end of the season. victor and 3 of his close friends treid to buy a large stake in the club before the start of the season but N.D turned them down. Now it looks like the sale could be back on as N.D looks to recoup some of the cash he's pumped into the club

forest to make a quick appointment to replace mclaren and are belevied to have asked swindon town for permisson to talk to paolo dicanio about the vacancy.forest belevie dicanio shows the qualitys they are looking for and whilst he hasnt been a roaring success at swindon yet working with better quality players at forest would bring dicanios obvious qualities to fruition and bring success to forest.

Believable2 Unbelievable11

You are an idiot!

Agree0 Disagree0

Need to ask the boys if they would consider playing for him.
They dont deserve a decent manager.

Dave Jones to Replace McClaren, will cost nothing and has Championship experience. I say bring back Billy, Peterborough did it with Ferguson, we should beg Billy back.

Believable7 Unbelievable2

Jones will never manage Forest, if you were a true fan you would know why.

Agree0 Disagree0

Get some brownie points marthur & ask Billy if he will come back on his terms.
Here's hoping x

Agree0 Disagree0

Ferguson didnt get the sack tho so he left in good terms. davies will never be back {Ed003's Note - Ferguson left Peterborough on very bad terms}

McClaren has resigned! Decent man but not up to the job for this division. By waiving his £2million payment and leaving he may of saved the club from relegation by a single act.

Non-league Nigel will be named NFFC new manager before next league game, with steve Mclaren replacing Steve Kean at B'burn!

Believable6 Unbelievable9

By non leagie nigel do u mean NC?

Agree0 Disagree0

Never going to happen you idiot.

Agree0 Disagree0

We all no theres only one man for the job, and only one man who 99% of Forest supporters respect. An thats King Billy, Highly unlikely he would come back after being treated the way he was and the mess the clubs in now. I dare even bet that if he did comeback now come january we'll be in playoff positions.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes non league nigel for manager because he will take you there

It will cost Forest 2 million to sack McLaren! Source - Sunday Papers

Believable11 Unbelievable10

It would be money well spent!

Agree0 Disagree0

Jesus! could have kept Billy and strengthend the team.No.....sounds too simple

Agree0 Disagree0

It'll cost Forest a lot more than that if we don't sack him since we'll end up in league 1!

Agree0 Disagree0

Macca should do the decent thing and WALK to preserve what little dignity he has left.

Neither Martha or Doughnut had any dignity in the first place so those buggers will hang on

Agree0 Disagree0

He did walk and with nothing too so fair play to the guy.

Hearing this morning that there were emergency talks yesterday between McClaren and the board. Seems that Schteve is off after this afternoons game win, lose or draw. Blackburn is his likely destination after Venky's the owners of Rovers approached him last week to replace Steve Keane who will be sacked later today. No word on a replacement for McClaren, other than Rob Kelly will be asked to take charge over the next couple of weeks.

Protests planned at the CG this afternoon will fall on deaf ears within the hierarchy at nffc with no more changes at board level following the sideways move of David Pleat from consultant to associate director late last week.

Strap yourselves in lads, this is about to get very messy!

Believable23 Unbelievable11

Absolute crap!

Agree0 Disagree0

God i hope we dont get Steve Keane coming the other way

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope the McClaren going bit is true. We defo don't want Steve Kean though: in fact, anyone but Steve Kean!

Agree0 Disagree0

Push the boat out for once and go all out for Martin o`Neil!

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard similar rumours circulating in the corridors of power. roy keane was mentioned as way to appease us suffering supporters, other candidates but not many i,m afraid o'driscol (poor), curbishley (been out the game too long), O neil (not a cat in hells chance)

Agree0 Disagree0

Total garbage

Agree0 Disagree0

Mclaren out!! Doughty out!! Arthur out!! Killing nffc since 2001!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey ,if O`Neil likes a bloody good challenge, look no further. come on down!

Agree0 Disagree0

MON will not be coming here, he wont work for Doutby and his cronies........get real!

If McClown does go(and i hope he does) Doutby will get a no hoper in, he will not back any manager, so we will struggle to get anyone to work for us!

They need to get out of Forest.....NOW!

Agree0 Disagree0

Offical SMC has walked!!

Agree0 Disagree0

And doughty to stand down at season's end

Agree0 Disagree0

Victor chandler to buy Nottingham forest at end of the season. victor treid to buy a stake in the club before the start of the season with 3 of his close friends but N.D refused to sell. now the sale could be back on

Agree0 Disagree0

Need them now!

Agree0 Disagree0

Is that a long shot or a safe bet?

Agree0 Disagree0

Nothing will work unless or until the Board allows the manager to manage and not just coach!! Based on this assessment we need a new board also!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Doughty stepping down as chairman but will retain ownership of club, for now at least.
Well done to Schteeeve for leaving without taking any cash. Doughty has made some ropey decisions but i hope this doesnt derail the club further by him stepping down as Chairman. Sometimes better the devil you know so to speak.
Martin O'Neill would be an excellent appointment as he's a motivator but i'm not sure even with his Forest history he would fancy this job?! I hope that Roy Keane isn't the one asked to step in. Bring back Billy? It's be nice, and without Doughty as Chairman who knows, but Dave Jones may be a safe bet?

Maybe it is time to take a punt on a young up and coming manager?

its going to be a bumpy couple of weeks, that much i do know!
