"Heard a rumour the other day that Victor Chandler and the ex owner of Corals are going to buy 80% of the Club, leaving Doughty with a 20% interest.

It's also claimed Mark Arthur will be sacked and Martin O'Neill employed as Chief Executive (he no longer wants to manage apparently).

There would also be plenty of transfer funds available for Billy to either push for promotion or retain premiership status.

Hope it's true!"

Where did you hear this??"

Hello,

I've been hearing some strong rumours that we're going all out to sign a first team player from one of the bigger prem clubs in the summer, regardless of division. I don't want to jeopardise anything/ anybody by throwing names but very intriguing if true. Somewhat surprising that the player would agree to the salary drop required but I guess his position is somewhat overloaded in his current squad and his manager's renowned for favouring big money signings rather than using the players he has. Plus he's been on top wages for a few years now so I doubt he needs any more money.
