Deal is going to be finished on Thursday, the reason why it is taking so long is because of the contract for a certain george elokobi are being finalised, adlene Guedioura has already signed and waiting to be announced

Believable4 Unbelievable16

Another in the know. As if we could get players signed until the deal is signed and sealed.

Agree11 Disagree1

What a load of tosh.Get real. The signing of the takeover is the priority.Signing players will follow that

Agree13 Disagree0

Its not tosh, #nffc timeline is going mental on twitter, Mr Al Hasawi arrived in Nottingham tonight, dont believe it if you wish but his Kuwaiti friends on twitter are saying hes here, its also all over twitter that AG has signed, hes tweeting trickies if you can be a**** to look. I am not the OP who started this thread.

Agree4 Disagree6

Another joker

Agree4 Disagree2

If he had he would have been training with us today!and he wasn't.

Agree3 Disagree1

Where did tosh come from!

Agree1 Disagree1

Can't find it anywhere on twitter,I guess because it's on twitter it must be true, rafa Benitez will be signing, and beckford and Liam Lawrence mick McCarthy are all joining, because it says so on twitter.

Agree4 Disagree2

My understanding is that deal has been done. We are just going through the motions with Football League checks but we expect the deal to be announced tomorrow.

Pep and George have not official signed to the club but have pre-contract agreements in place ready for when the takeover is announced.

Agree2 Disagree1

Fawaz isn't in Nottingham, I was wrong about that. Fawaz was asked how far London to Nottingham is and he explained.

Agree1 Disagree3

It must be true then if its on twitter stop reading daft twitter pages see at the end of the week is taking long tho, were other clubs seem to do it a week ?

Agree2 Disagree1

Signing players takes a lot longer than a few days and why would you delay a takeover just to announce signings at the same time ? AG has been in Indonesia until very recently so i doubt hes even spoke to forest. if we do annonce the signings and the takeover at the same time then great, but i bet the football league will want answers to what has gone off

Agree3 Disagree1

No it doesn't take longer than a few days. It can, but it equally can be don in hours.

Agree2 Disagree0

If the new owner has put in pre contracts with players, why did he not do the same for excisting players such as the captian Chambers, Anderson or Lynch ? SC has said he was trying to keep them !

Agree2 Disagree0

Maybe just maybe his agent does all the talking so he just needs to sign when takeover complete we know he loves the club already so who knows

Agree2 Disagree0

He and is family are liverpool fans so i wouldnt go as far as love

Agree1 Disagree0

If signing players takes more than a few days y is there always a influx of them on deadline day

Agree1 Disagree0

Why did he not do the same for exciting players such as the captian Chambers, Anderson?

Because they were crap. Get Over it

Agree0 Disagree1

"He and is family are liverpool fans so i wouldnt go as far as love"

Liverpool don't care about us anymore. I've said it.

You heard it here first and Darren Ferguson is set to have change of heart and accept the position of NFFC managers job after realising it is his only chance of getting into the PL ,not over excited to be honest would have prefered a more battle hardened championship manager such as BIG Mick McCarthy or Neil Warnock.

Believable1 Unbelievable23

Mad Micks about as good manager has he is at commentary, and Neil Warnock's on the verge of death. Not a fan of young Ferguson but he does have good contacts and slightly prefer him to SC hoof and hope style of play. ( whoops did I just have a negative comment about SC, please don't get offended ED) .

Agree5 Disagree7

No please, not him. Joke I hope!

Agree8 Disagree3

Stop stop stop stop stop, please enough, Cotterill is staying, get over it

Agree9 Disagree4

I don't think SC will stay tbh. Just my opinion.

Agree3 Disagree8

Hope it's the usual wind up. don't want fergie jnr - done nowt.

Agree11 Disagree0

One peron hit the nail on the head concerning SC.he will be given until the end of the year to get us into a promotion chasing position, and if he fails in that, then he will be handing the reigns over to someone else....IERM

Agree8 Disagree2

Well I read that elokobi had turned us down

Agree1 Disagree5

I also heard that elokobi has turned us down

Agree0 Disagree2

I heard he can't wait to join

Agree1 Disagree0

Elokobi will not get a game at Wolves....he loved his time at Forest and will become a folk hero.

So Fawaz has just posted this on Twitter - في منطقه نوتينغهام تبعد عن لندن ساعه ونص تقريباً. This is translated as 'In the Nottingham area away from the London hours about text'.

Would make sense as the Kuwaiti's on Twitter were saying earlier that tonight there'd be a 'closed meeting' and there's been talk of the deadline being tomorrow.

Believable7 Unbelievable5

Looks like movement at last, let's hope we can get the structure and sound purchases in ASAP. Let's prey money doesn't burn a hole in some jokers pocket. Keep you feet on the ground, and hit it running nicely COYR

Agree4 Disagree1

Michael Doughty just tweeted
@mdoughty92: Things are a changing

Does this mean at NFFC?

Agree4 Disagree0

It's either about NFFC or QPR, but I'd say it's much more likely NFFC. Helena has also replied with 'Onwards & upwards xx'.

Agree3 Disagree0

What a gullible lot you are , due diligence still in process ,could take weeks ,no signings before

Agree3 Disagree8

Weeks? No. Due diligence didn't start when Forest made the announcement naming them, it was already well into the process. Go back to your own rumour site, please.

Agree7 Disagree1

I was wrong about him in Nottingham, sorry.

Agree0 Disagree0

What a gullible sheep you are..........deal done read it and weep. Now go ba ba back to your own site.

One of fawazs associates has just tweeted "fawaz on way to Nottingham" . Congratulations nffc. Source @madridista_16 on twitter

Believable6 Unbelievable4

I've just tweeted that the deal is being signed tomorrow at 10am and our first signing is Baggio. Tweets mean nothing mate!

Agree1 Disagree3

Whats this mean

Agree1 Disagree2

Apparently 20th July is the first day of Ramadan, also could be a sign that Fawaz expects it to be done by 20/7.

Agree1 Disagree0

Exactly, the point being that he wants to be back home for ramadan. it does not mean this is some sort of deadline for takeover or signings or anything, that's just people putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5

Dear All

I work for an investment bank, not directly linked with the takeover, but we have been asked to move several large sums of money via Asia to Europe. It is directly connected to N.F.F.C. Our agent has been talking to a Mr Peters who is acting on behalf of Messrs Hawasi in the UK.

The deal will be announced on 12th July. The funds we have transferred thus far are for the club, and not the vendor. We moved 3 X $7.90m for them, I am speculating this is for contracts and new purchases (players)

I can also confirm a transfer to a London based agent. I checked it out earlier, and he is a high profile agent whos clients include: THFC, LFC and QPR. The name that is on everyones tongues connected with the sum though, is Rafa Benitez

Looking forward to Thursday, and coming home for the Bristol game

Cheers

JS

Believable10 Unbelievable11

Utter rubbish

Agree8 Disagree6

This could be slightly believable but there is one main problem with this. You are in a very confidencial position within the company that you work, and you are giving information of this stature out I could believe some of it but it could also be another dream....................

But on the good side I wish ...................

COYRs

Agree7 Disagree3

Ha ha. Most rumours start as the figment of someones imagination. Yours my friend is quite something.

Agree7 Disagree1

This website is funny... the info that sounds good to forest fans is "obviously" wrong and anything that is genuinley believable is abused because people may already know it ..

Agree3 Disagree0

All,

I have no reason to lie and we are simply transferring money and we are not involved in the contractual elements of any deal.

The last sum of money was transferred at 11pm from over here. Ive worked late on this and its nearly 2am here.

I thought I would put some good news on and now i'm being called a liar!!

Im off for a cold beer before bed.

Night night

JS

Agree9 Disagree4

I love how every rumour is branded 'utter rubbish' within the first two comments.

Agree3 Disagree1

The strange thing is you may have transferred it into the wrong account,as his name is Hasawi and not Hawasi.Good try though JS

Agree5 Disagree2

At the end of a day it's a rumours site so let people post what they please. We are the hardest fans to please

Agree2 Disagree1

You should be on stage your a comedian pal

Agree3 Disagree0

This is great news if correct

Agree2 Disagree1

Brilliant , but the sad thing is those gullible ones will believe this

Agree1 Disagree2

A lot of transfers are done electronically these daysso a client has no reason to contact their Bank. Utter rubbish. I would not trust any one who discloses confidential info (if true). Shame on you.

Nottingham Forest will announce plans for the UK's first indoor football stadium once the takeover is complete. The Kuwait Airlines Dome will have a capacity of 55,000 and will feature the first retractable pitch in the UK as similarly seen in the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona. Another first will be seats that are automatically heated when the temperature drops to below 10C and the stands behind the goal will only be one tier to allow for concerts and shows.

Believable11 Unbelievable15

Should bring in additional outside revenue as discussed in original statement of intent. Location maybe a big issue, good of it comes off

Agree4 Disagree2

Sounds like pie in the sky but it would be so good if true lol

Agree6 Disagree2

That would be brilliant. Have our new owners met Nottingham City Council yet? When they do, they'll probably lose the will to live. If we have more than ten players = workplace parking: no parking provision for the entire stadium will be granted and the onyl mode of transport permitted will be the tram so it will have be designed with tram lines running right through the site. Still hope it's true though although may need to put in the county.

Agree8 Disagree0

Why do they need heated seats if it's indoors ? Keep dreaming

Agree6 Disagree2

But the ground wouldn't be in the city? and even if it was at the same site as the city ground, that in Rushcliffe not city council too

Agree5 Disagree0

The Land belongs to the city council not Rushcliffe, thats why the City was guarantee for the loan forest had for the trent end

Agree3 Disagree3

We wont need parking or the tram, we will be using Munto's monorail thats lying in a disused state at the back of clowntys ground.

Agree3 Disagree2

And that has nothing to do with building a new stadium

Agree1 Disagree1

HEATED SEATS ? Music to my farmer giles

Agree4 Disagree1

Someone mentioned this on the radio or telly last night - not about Forest, but about covering a football ground with a roof after seeing Wimbledon use their roof. Anyway, that's probably why the op thought up this idea!

Agree2 Disagree1

Ha Ha, oooh me farmers, cracked me right up that did.

Agree2 Disagree1

The new ground will go on the Eastside, this is the land next to NHS direct, the original site for the world cup stadium, proposals for a new development have been scrapped, Wing Yip chinese village. Part of Eastcroft Depot will go and the council are already moving certain parts of there operations to Woolsthorpe Close in Bilborough, when you piece all these bits together it makes sense.

Agree1 Disagree2

The new ground COULD be on the site we had in mind for the world cup bid ground just saying

Agree1 Disagree2

The site that was proposed was in gaston not behind the nhs direct, there are railway lines and 2 grade 2 listed building at that site and way to small.

Ferguson was approached (presumably by Palladini) and was very interested in the job. However when it came to fruition that Palladini had nothing to do with the TO he made out he was not interested etc. apparently left things very uncomfortable for him at Peterboro and a lot of fans already showing there annoyance and person who advised me says if he doesn't make a good start to the season then Peterboro will use that as excuse to get rid of him etc. sounds a bit strange but apparently club are annoyed at his lack of loyalty given they had him back after his bad spell at PNE

Believable0 Unbelievable12

Enough about paladini and ferguson please getting boring now

Agree5 Disagree0

Don't want Fergerson anyway!

Forest have highlight player from the uk and europe to bring in and will make some major signings within the next few weeks. One of the names being mentioned is colin kazim richards who is said to want a return to england after spells in turkey, france and greece

Believable5 Unbelievable11

Probably not going to happened, but this would be an incredible signing. Kazim Kazim is an excellent player!

Agree7 Disagree3

Hasn't he just signed for a new club I turkey??

Agree0 Disagree3

If we can move quickly we should go for Goodwillie great little player still young with lots to prove there is talk of rovers only wanting 1.25 mil for him too!

Agree4 Disagree0

Sign Goodwillie! also Ricardo Fuller..... Fuller Goodwillie partnership

No press conference invites issued today, according to Natalie Jackson on twitter. Doesn't mean t/o not going through but seems a little unlikely.

Believable5 Unbelievable4

'but seems a little unlikely'. - TODAY??? or this week?

Agree2 Disagree0

My bet is Friday

Agree0 Disagree2

1 more day won't do any harm

Agree2 Disagree2

Maybe she's just not invited ;)

Agree7 Disagree4

Nottingham forest have formally enquired on highly rated James Toogood.

Agree2 Disagree3

Forest have signed their first asian player in over 26years.

Agree2 Disagree3

Recent newspaper have indicated that forest are wanting to sign James 'Horse head' Toogood.

Agree1 Disagree1

Thursday seems to be the consensus for a press conference

Agree0 Disagree1

Oh thursday now what day will it be when it dont happen then either

Agree1 Disagree1

Don't live your lives around these rumours of meetings. it will happen if it is going to happen. It may not happen as things are now dragging longer than planned. The due diliigence report was presented to the buyer's accountants by Forest's accountants last Thursday. Problems found? If things fall through then no matter we will continue to support the boys no matter what division we are in.

Apparently Collins John has been signed but will not be confirmed until wednesday afternoon, at least not until after take over is complete

Collins John used to play for Fulham but more recently has spent time abroad. The fee will be undisclosed

Believable2 Unbelievable8

I hope not! we have better already and that's saying something.

Agree3 Disagree1

He has been a free agent for months and was linked when McLaren took over so why a fee? Absolute tosh.

Agree3 Disagree2

I must say the quality of some of the named players supposedly signing for us leave a lot to be desired, a bit disrespectful to Mr Fawaz me thinks ;)

Agree4 Disagree0

Is he old?

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha! So the collins john rumour has Poped up again, what next pratly and whittingham ?

Agree1 Disagree0

Utter rubbish stop speculating!!

Agree1 Disagree1

Is Collins John the leader of the city council. LOL

another rumor i have herd in the football circles, is Martin O' Neill has been sounded out, what that means i dont know, this was from two sports writers talking in a bar, could be drink talk.

Believable4 Unbelievable10

Could be rubbish never gonna happen

Agree7 Disagree0

I agree it's the drink talking

Agree6 Disagree0

Forest to hire women physio lottie swinscoe to keep dexter blackstock entertained

Agree3 Disagree2

David O Leary will be announced as new manager this week.

Agree0 Disagree2

Was thinking Roy Keane would be quality with Colin Cooper as his assistant. Im certain Colin would be a great link between the manager and squad.

Our greatest manager also required the assistance of a man with great people skills. (Would also love to see Gunther fully rewarded he is an absolute Reds legend in my eyes)
