Dawson's market value is £5million. If you think we will get any more for Lascelles at this stage of his career you are mistaken. Lascelles may in time turn out to be a better player than Dawson, but not by much. At this moment Dawson is a far better defender.

I agree Ed but promotion is our main aim, making a profit is secondary. I would sooner have Dawson for this campaign than Lascelles. I think you would agree.
{Ed034's Note - as we have both hobbs and wilson to compete with this season, i would rather keep him for the long term. so no i do not agree

It is most doubtful we will get a full season out of Hobbs or Wilson but that is just speculation. We will agree to disagree. :-)
{Ed034's Note - i dont think it will be long before lascelles is at dawsons level and give it two seasons he'll be better. it will be worth the wait.

5m plus Dawson would be a great bit of business if it could be pulled off, if not don't sell, sick of bigger clubs stealing are young talent at a low price and a promise of premiership football, which they don't always get

We need to keep him because your kidding yourselves if u think Wilson will stay or get fit. Always injured when he was with us before going to Celtic.

Got to agree marco -although KW is a great player injuries have forced him to miss so many games. I can't remember exactly what we paid to get him back (2 mill?) but I've always thought it was a big risk

Dawson? Are we for real? The guy plays regularly for a top-6 Premiership side. How are we going to afford his wages and convince him to come to us?
