Did anybody else notice the tone of Reidy's interview on EM Today last night? 'If we hadn't had all these injuries we'd be top of the league' is what he said. I just hope he didn't imply 'so why did Davies get the sack?' Perhaps I'm seeing conspiracies everywhere but I hope huge resentment amongst the players does not explain our recent terrible performances. This would make Pearce's job even tougher.

Did not see interview. Realistcally thoughwith a settled squad and less injuries then we would have contested top six but doubt top two. Davies messed too much with forwards. Leicester and burnley more or less kept there same two up front and had massive success. I have bin a big supporter of simon cox but am gutted he has not really done the business. Derbyshire is still worthy of more appearances as he has a scorers instinct. We need a nugent who may not be blessed with pace but is so consistant at this level

It will have hurt the players the sacking of Davies. We should all think about the player Reid has turned into under the guidance of Davies. Reid has turned in his best ever season, something I think he would give Billy huge created for.

Even if we'd still been winning billy had to go. Nothing to do with the players imo it was just that billy had lost it

The player I had a long conversation with yesterday at the sponsors lunch certainly wasn't sorry to see BD go. Too much tinkering was the general mood.

Come on then, don't leave us hanging. Who was it? My guesses would be radi, greening or derbyshire.

I give Billy credit for one thing and one thing only, the way in which he destroyed our season. I you think that BD decision not to play certain players in certain positions, bizarre team selections and formations was because he loved Forest, you are delusional. BD did not care about this club or you and I, it was done out of spite.

Injuries apart, we would have been automatic, the reason we dropped out of the Play Offs was poor management from an average manager, who again had been found sadly wanting.

{Ed034's Note - really bored of the Billy Davies debate
