Does anyone Know why Leicester fans hate us so much?
I bumped into one the other day and he was trying to dish it out as if we were big rivals. I tried to explain to him that we don't see the the fox cubs as major rivals as we already have derby as our big rivals. I don't know why but he got all upset and I didn't even say anything about them only getting 1 point of us this season.
Is it a bit like England and Scotland do you think?how we don't mind the scots but they hate us. Any ideas?

Think they're jealous that the big midlands derby is forest v derby and that our club has history and tradition. Whereas what they've just done is just about they're greatest ever achievement!

They are jealous. Best way to deal with is ignoring them, don't be negative or give opinions.

And before any genius suggests why would they be jealous, I mean from an historical basis.

Until they win Champions League twice they are nothing to us.

Not living in the city or county I have more banter with Leicester fans than derby as i'm surrounded by them, its purely down to jealousy and them looking up to us as the bigger, more successful neighbours. let them have their moment they deserve it for the way they've played this season but i'm pretty sure it will be short lived
Ps although they deserve it on performances this season what they have been allowed to do behind the scenes to local fans and businesses is disgusting.

I can't say why fester hate us apart from geography, but the reason the Scots hate us goes back hundreds of years too things like the battle of colodan (sorry that's spelt so wrong)lol.

Leicester have always seen us as their biggest game as we see the sheep as our's.

They feel left out I suppose - two company threes a crowd sort of thing. It makes things worse for them that we don't really have any emotions about them ( which I think is great!) plus there is no historical connection really like we have with that bunch of sheep.

Coventry city should be their their big rivals but I think it has to be they are jealous of our past achievements & we are seen as the big team in the east midlands, but fair play to them for what they did this season I don't give two stuffs about them its the sheep I can't stand hope they fail in the play offs

Can you imagine how frustrating it is for them. Having a rivalry with a club and supporters who couldn't give a hoot about them. It's a bit sad having a one way rivalry.

Foxes v Oakham is the big one in the South Midlands derby. No wonder they are so jealous!

They are insignificant to us.

Good season they've had though so well done to them.

I have a few friends who live in Oakham and support Leicester.

Just thought i'd share that fact.

I live in oakham and its full of festa divs they hate Forest so much its funny we only hate derby but I hate them both let's hope sheep shaggers do a festa in play offs like last year and festa get the worst team in prem history and go back down and The mighty Forest go up Happy Days C. O. Y. R :-)
