The MGW goal I thought was 'sublime '. Worth watching again and again. He completely wrong footed Pickford and the defender and calmly slotted the ball home. If this had been Kane, Haaland or Salah, MoD would have been eulogising on their great abilities. MGW will captain England one day.
This Forest side is at the top because the team has a group of very talented players who each play for the other. Yesterday exemplified this.

He is certainly playing himself in to form and is very important to the team. Loved the way he dropped deep for the first goal. Him and Anderson compliment each other.
I think Wood's finish was just as good. He just made it look so easy.
When he was dealing in inches.
Brilliant stuff.

Had been waiting excitedly for my new Forest Car Pennant to arrive.
Talk about underwhelming!
My son innocently asked "Forest air freshener dad? "
???.

You're right about MOTD Doc and their 'apparent'prejudice. The same for the Forest equalising goal against Man City which was a masterpiece and CHO's against Liverpool. Can you see the link?

All great posts. Agree with all the previous posters. As for MOTD Norfolk mate I think Nuno prefers it that we stay humble and under the radar…. The BBC were proved wrong back in the day when Forest won the top division championship in their first season back under Clough. I like to see pundits choking on their own words ….

Reading and listening to the pundits when asked will Forest finish in the top four, it's a resounding NO. It will make it all the more sweeter if we do?.
Negatives: picking up injuries to key players, we have a decent rest period before next game so hopefully sorted by then, newspaper talk about teams coming in for our players, I hope they keep focused, it definitely effected Elanga with the Newcastle interest.
Positive: Nuno, coaching staff, Players and the amazing support!. Definitely Positives.

I think I remember it Stokey? Was it Jimmy Hill being condescending about Forest and reluctantly congratulating Clough, almost resentful. Did they play music at the end to a slo-mo cut of BC calmly walking off the pitch. It was a chart song. Forget todays subtle prejudice-they did not like the way Forest won it; and communicated such!

I believe you are right Norfolk. I think only Motty ( bless him) talked Forest up in commentary as he realised what was happening at the WFCG ( but don’t rely on my memory, I ve just forgotten why I walked into the kitchen mate) ???.

Amazing what you can remember from teen years when prompted. I'm tempted to present you with an impressive, cogent literary analogy, say from James Joyce, but I think not during the festive season!
And, yes, I forgot the semi-skimmed today.
(No prizes for guessing that we have people staying, so I'm out of the gassing areas)
