Apparently we are close to signing a right back from Sevilla.

If Carmona comes from Seville it will knock on the head any deal for Matty Cash!.

2.) 20 Aug 2025 14:01:06
Fabrizio Romano:

?? EXCLUSIVE: Nottingham Forest are in advanced talks for José Angel Carmona from Sevilla.

Spanish right back new target for #NFFC with talks now underway.

3.) 21 Aug 2025 09:01:02
This deal makes more sense with what our recruitment team are looking for. As much as I would like to see matt cash back in a forest shirt, can't see villa letting him go at present, konsa is a better cb than rb and garcii injured. Also cash has regular spot and would be competing against aina who on his day is best rb in the league. So if we get the young Spanish rb he could cover aina and if get tsmikis on loan from Liverpool we have a really strong squad.

We definitely need a FB at Matty Cash's level. He'd be Prem ready. The fact that he counts as a home-grown academy player (I think) is the big bonus, as he would be an extra player and we won't have to leave anyone else out of the squad.

However, the Carmona guy is probably European match ready, so still fits with what we need but may not adjust to the Prem as quickly.

We are now reaching the point where tough choices need to be made about who makes the squad.

Friday’s edition of Diario de Sevilla reports the 23-year-old is ‘very reluctant’ to join the Reds as his desire is to continue and succeed with the Andalusian club.

‘Is it ruled out? 100% not, but it’s complicated, ’ a source close to him told Diario de Sevilla.

That's Ivory Coast out.

Sangare should be available for Arsenal. Can't say we haven't missed him.

Last nights win. Is the first time since we have been back in the premier, that we have been losing at half time and gone on to win.

Hopefully it gives them some belief.

You need to be worried after that 67. All the Dyche lovers have either gone into hiding after that, while the others have finally smelt the coffee. I told you the day he walked through the door it was disaster, but oh no " good fit " Woan and Stone are back " Legends ?. A right pair of bookends stood there like Right said Fred looking deviod of ideas while our leader looks like a boy lost.

Enjoy the roller coaster ride Stokie, dtp ect. The emotional excitement of will we achieve 18th or 17th. What a wonderful season we are have with Captain lump it and hope.

Apparently Zinchenko was picked because Savona was turned inside out by Grealish at there place and Grealish was on there bench, what manager said "I don't worry about the opposition, let them worry about us! "? Sounds right to me.

I remember the home game Stokey.

First half he was best player on the pitch. Gave our left back a torrid time. Who on the day, if my memory serves me right, was Moreno.

Think he would be a useful addition.

Thing is. We have been caught with our pants down here.

Gut feeling. We may keep him till January, unless we get an adequate replacement.

Looking at the interview with Aina after today's game, it doesn't seem to have affected the team spirit, which is my big fear.

Still feeling optimistic about next year and the missus says if we get Roma or Bologna away she's coming with me, although not to the game.

Chin up.

If he played with MGW off the right it would make sense.

Similar to how we set up agsinst Betis away. Only Murrilo in for Morato.

Our best performance of the season. In the 1st half by far.

TBH before the Leeds game looking at the fixtures ahead, and the form we were in, I remember projecting that it may be the new year before we get out of the drop zone.

Obviously WHU and Burnley have helped us but in terms of staying up we are on track. that's the nain thing. We were 5/ 2 to ho down when Dyche was appoonted we are now 9/ 1.

Must admit that is a big price.

However those who are saying we are heading for relegation. Get down the bookies. Fill your boots.

9 to 1!

I think people forget where we were when Dyche arrived. In the relegation zone.

After the Ange disaster we needed someone to steady the ship and keep us up. If he does that. Mission acomplished. And we should applaud him.

He is what he is. Your not going to get champagne football (like Ange) but its all about results. If you look at our first or best team it is exactly the same as last year minus Elanga and Wood. So all that money spent and the only teo who have at times showed us something is Hutchinson and Luiz. You can't blame Dyche for that.

All that said whatever happens I doubt SD will see out his contract.
