My daughter is NFFC Academy and Women’s physio, about to get on the coach to play Stoke City Women Kick off 2pm. It’s common knowledge, Sabri has gone announcement later today.

2.) 04 Oct 2020 11:52:10
Stokey
Women kick off all the time not just at 2pm. 🀣🀣🀣.

Just a couple of bits of gossip fellow Reds! My daughter is Leicester City Academy physio and was at the under 23 game yesterday. Firstly, high praise for the conduct of MON, Keeno and Chris Cohen, gentlemen all, very friendly and aporoachable, especially when s he told them we were passionate Forest fans. A Leicester lad got a bad knock and they expressed their concern as to his welfare and clearly took a great interest in the lads despite the atrocious weather, so well done. Secondly, word is Leicesters dreadful helicopter disaster did us a favour because they were definitely going to sack Puell and get MON back then but decided it wouldn't look good! Lastly, chatting to the Forest Academy lads afterwards about Karanka they said towards the end of his tenure he hardly went to training at all and when he did he gave no input and just stood on his own on the touchline. Very odd!

Good info Stokey.

2.) 01 Mar 2019 18:56:03
Nice one stokeyπŸ‘

3.) 01 Mar 2019 21:28:56
Welcome back stokey,I know you didn't like karanka going, but it was his choice and the owners can't be blamed for it and now they are going to build us a fine new stand,it's all good.
It's quite funny really because if karanka left because of the DOF appointment then marinakis has been proved right in bringing him in with the best centre backs we've signed for many years.

4.) 02 Mar 2019 11:33:05
It certainly seems like fate has intervened to bring the whole Forest family together and make us stronger. Delighted to see and hear the fans at home are raising the roof for the run in as its now about small margins and we all need to stick together and get behind the lads!

5.) 02 Mar 2019 11:42:20
Agreed red hope we have turned the corner possible playoffs the ground being upgraded happy days spare five seconds to the sadpies looks like they are going out of business!no sympathy from me for hardy

12 Jan 2019 22:05:06
Well that's the players response to Karanka leaving! Glad you saw that Marinakis great job! So the New manager will inherit a right crock (and no available central defenders! ) Forget playoffs! Great job well done!

Just a few points from Leeds game.

One. The team want to play for Karanka

Two. It would be extremely foolish and counter productive to sack him at this crucial stage of the season.

Three. Leeds are a superb side under a brilliant coach. Even with 10 men they attacked and looked sharper than us in all departments. But its extremely difficult to play at that tempo for 90 minutes and we cashed in at the end as they tired. I hate to say it but I fancy Leeds to go up automatically.

Four. Karanka managed a difficult situation superbly with a disrupted back four, no Grabban and with Likely a passenger. Bringing in Benny was a masterstroke, the last thing a tiring team want is him buzzing around.

Lastly, the foul leading to the straight Red was bad but only as bad as the one on Pants by the Millwall lad which led to a yellow only. By the way can somebody find a way to dissolve the superglue which sticks Pants to his line?

Coyr! Let's get behind Karanka and the boys.

karankas got that, its called your out the team mate.

2.) 02 Jan 2019 15:01:36
After the great reception ak got i think the club chairman should say weather there is any truth that the manager is going or staying after all i think the supporters need to know what happend to keeping ing touch with fans that was promised?

Don't worry fellow trickies we were playing a team that were well organized had had 8 days rest as opposed to our 3 days after high intensity games v Wba and Bristol City. I thought Geddy, Grabba, Carvalho and Dias particularly were running on empty but luckily Colback, Fox (immaculate today), Figgy Darikwa, and the subs Soundani and Cash stepped up to the plate to cover for their tired colleagues. I'm a fan of Benny Osbourne but he's not a left back (too small and lacks pace) and he will cost us goals over the season. So give the boys a rest and team for Bury should be Smith, Byrom, Watson, Dawson, Bridcutt, Brereton, Worrall, Heffer, supplemented by a few academy lads like Yates, Gomis etc. Great result today against a fresh team.

1.) 12 Aug 2018 09:51:27
Agreed Stokey, completely different 11 for Bury.Give the new boys a run out.Maybe try 3 at the back.Give Brereton and Soudani 90 mins as well.

Bong and Grabban start. We might have had a bit of a chance with Ribeiro and Taylor or Murray . At least Mighten gets a game. Hope I'm wrong but this is going to be a very very painful afternoon. Coyr! 😞.

Just looking at the NEP article on free agents Forest could sign. I'd just go for Rick Astley, after all he's never going to let you down . Ok I'll get me coat πŸ§₯πŸ˜‘.

StokeyRed

1.) 08 Mar 2021 12:25:10
I'd definitely sign Yazz as the only way is up!
Getting my coat too 😁.

2.) 08 Mar 2021 13:26:36
How about the Thompson Twins? .3 for the price of 2.

Loved Joe Worrells Sky Man of the Match interview " It's not Barcelona it's Derby"! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘Worrell fast becoming a legend and his performances back up his wind ups!

Let’s hop the club are learning and don’t sell him stokey .
Not signing Arter and Colback probably means you keep cash if you get my drift in more ways than one.

2.) 27 Feb 2021 12:28:15
It’s wasted money 2star but we’d never keep hold of anyone when prem clubs come sniffing for players, not if they have any personal ambitions.

3.) 27 Feb 2021 13:49:02
Fair point mate, I reckon we could have held on to him for another season and I think JW will give us another season as well.

4.) 27 Feb 2021 15:14:45
Worrall to stay captain, we play so much better with him being captain as to Grabone who for me needs to go.

20 Feb 2021 14:21:26
Grabban not even in the squad is good news.
Coventry winning, well played Tyler though bad news for us
Keith Stroud reffing were doomed! πŸ˜•
Coyr!

I can reveal from an impeccable source that Chris Cohen and Reidy gave McGuane and a couple of other lads as yet unidentified a thorough work out at the Academy yesterday morning. His signing will probably be announced tomorrow. Unless of course it was a fitness test and they failed it!

Calm down fellow Reds and stay with Karanka! If Dias had put his boot through it with the last kick of the game we d be in 7th place a point adrift!Admittedly Dias was a strange choice as sub but it must have AK tearing his hair out!The Real Madrid team he was at the heart of would have kept the ball for most of the remaining minutes so the opposition wouldn't have had a sniff!

The only Franglais I remember goes:

Citizen β€œ Mais non, je ne pisse pas. Je M’abuse”
Gendarme β€œ Ah oui! Vive la sport! ”.

One more win may well be enough, 2 more wins takes us to 51, definately enough. It’s not a big ask from 7 remaining games but I guess everyone’s a bit unerved by last season s collapse in the final games. Coyr!

The other story about stats is that they prove a clock that has stopped is better than one that is half a second slow because the latter is only accurate once every 5 million plus years but the former is right twice a day! πŸ€”.

Good and interesting post Skegbyred. I ve always distrusted stats a bit since the late, great Dave Allen said he’d read that 20 % of all road accidents are caused by drunken drivers. Which means that 80 % are caused by sober drivers so those b. ds should stay off the roads and let us drunks drive in safety! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ€ͺπŸ€ͺ.
