Sounds like Taylor is bad news. He was told by McCarthy for the last 6 months of his contract to stay away from Ipswich. DF is a joke.

From what I can remember from a recent Dougie interview he stated that due to the position we are in with FFP this was one of the few options open to him, and that is getting in 'bad eggs' and attempting to turn them in to good ones. So I suppose we'll soon see how good a manager he really is now.

I'd love to know who exactly the negative fans think we should sign on a free or loan (without loan fee) and for £10k or under.

Right now, I'm sure DF knows he's in a no win situation, damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. At least he's trying to be positive and ensure we've got a squad with depth and *some* ability to back up the 1st XI.

I'm voting we should rock up to some of these negative fans work places, severely limit their capabilities to do their day to day job then start ranting about how rubbish a job they're doing.

Give DF and Fawaz a break, the club is under embargo, their hands are tied and options are limited.

I would like to see him get more out of a few of our good quality but under performing players too such as Vaughan and Patterson before buying poorer quality players but i'll give him the benefit of the doubt. I think we need a potential goalscorer so Maynard might be a good call

I remember about 2 seasons ago we were linked with paul taylor and i was thinking please don't sign him the guys been in trouble for fighting in pubs and been banned for drugs aswell plus he does not score goals so if this is the best we can get on trial i'm very worried.
