The score yesterday was no more than expected as we cannot dominate teams at home. Only 2 shots on target reflects our lack of decisive creativity.
Is it Lamouchi? It might be, as swapping Ameiobi for the the lump that is yates seemed bizarre if you are going for the points.
It could be that Lamouchi is scuppered with another bunch of drosse brought in in Jan. Keep saying you cannot make a silk purse from a pigs ear, can't say sow for obvious reasons lol.
Watched a lot of the Brentford game again and they have real purpose in their attack whether played out from the back or worked from centre mid.
Lamouchi has without doubt gelled a defensive effecient team and praiseworthy for that. Buf is the lack of creativity a weakness within him or abstract failure from the board in giving him the quality tools. I can't fathom the lack of investment in even half decent attakers at this crucial time. And one or two have been signed permenantly. Very odd.

Perfectly put yet again Rutland. If we attacked like Brentford at home we would have won the league already. But alas a garbage Jan window of cast offs and unwanted players. 6 in defence at home and this one striker gig is one thing I'll never accept.
Missed a big chance this year as the standard is truly second rate but unfortunately so are we. At home we are an asomniacs dream cure.
Lamouchi coming out with the same sound bites after every home match is getting boring too.

You can5 say we sat back defending against QPR we attacked them constantly and cash a reberio spent more time in the opposition half than their own, that's not negative.

The managers style needs players that are quick so they can get forward with zest and catch the other team out, which will make even the most free flowing teams more wary of getting many players forward, but at the same time so they can get back quick enough to help the team out defensively.

The managers system does stifle creativity to a point as no player is allowed a free role because in order for the managers style to work everyone is expected to defend.

The amount of midfielders at the club is too many yet there is only Sow who can play the way he does, and so well, which makes the way the manager wants the team to play work perfectly.

We will only ever have one striker in the Grabban mode at the club while we play the way we do, the rest are going to need to be in the Lolley mode, someone that chips in with a good amount goals but not a out and out striker.

The team will evolve if the manager stays but who knows Forest are not a club to stand by managers, but this one is the best for a while.

2 shots on target, one less than them. Constant attacking and content failure as usual at home. I know your always banging on about announce promotion 79 but forget it pal its over. It ain't happening and we ain't good enough sadly.
Paul Hart all over again. Just invest in a bit of quality in January and it's back to the Premier league but alas history repeats it's self.

Can you see any of the teams in the top 6 beating us over two legs? in fact beating us at all?
That is why I will stay positive because if we get in the play offs these team will attack us and we play better when they do.

If we are such dross to watch as some experts on here say, why are Sky covering practically every one of our remaining games to be watched mainly by neutral fans?
Listening to professional football pundits on tv and radio re their observations on Forest they are on the whole complimentary about the way we play.
It ain't that bad. This time of the season fear/ nerves are going to play their part and the football will be effective to get results and I for one can live with that.
