Great result. Amazing what can happen when midfield players and defenders start shooting on target! More of it please. Murrillo, Niakate, Mangala and Aina were first class. Sangare had a better game as well. Dominguez needs to work on his finishing and composure in front of goal. A bit oncerning that Villa were allowed to play too far up the field especially second half in a home game?

Villa were there for the taking on the break, they played so high that elanga and Awonyi were in’” given the right ball almost every attack 1st half it’s easy to see how Newcastle put 5past them, and they went to Liverpool more timid than we were, the plan was to let them come on, because if Awonyi and elanga or even Gibbs white got in behind, none of their defenders had the pace to get near them, the obsession with possession is baffling,

Sangare is a good player mate, there is no doubt he is, I’ve mentioned my worry on this one and there was some great responses last night. It’s not a dig at the player or his capabilities - he’s quality and will only get better.

We were under the cosh too much in the second half of they had buried they're chances on another day like Liverpool it can cost us. Don't mind playing a little more defensive but need to keep a player to play out that's how we score most of our goals.
