I just want to raise a couple of points Reds.

Firstly, I have turned against Big M as our owner. I feel that his impulsive, petulant and irrational behaviour has come to far outweigh the monetary benefits he brings to our Club. As Fawaz did, this man has single-handedly destroyed our good name throughout the football community. Frankly, I think that Big M has become an embarrassing liability to Nottingham Forest.

Before the 'be careful what you wish for' posts, I want you all to consider the following questions - do you want to maintain the status quo and for Forest to remain as a derided and disrespected club in the PL, playing 'survival football' whilst teetering on relegation? Or, would you prefer Forest taking a step back to the Championship, playing attractive football, respected and admired as a club run in a dignified manner with the correct ethos? And then re-launching as a 'proper' club again back into the PL? Think about it and whether it's now time for a change of ownership.

Secondly, everyone deserves to voice their own opinion on this site. Frankly, I was disgusted at so many posters on here jumping down Stokey's throat, often in a personnally-abusive manner, just because he offered a different view on SD. Everyone is entitled to their opinion Reds - remember that.

In my previous post, I mentioned that I largely agree with your points Lego.
We cannot continue in this manner without a change in ownership. Otherwise, each time a coach does not meet the owner's expectations, the situation will repeat itself.
Marinakis bears full responsibility for this situation, which may necessitate a potential change in ownership.

The key question is whether he will accept responsibility and understand that his meddling and rash decisions have tarnished the respect of Forest as a Club.

Let’s bow down to the few who talk down to us and ‘remember that’ ?
If you put yourself up there to be shot down, don’t cry when someone takes a pop shot - remember that fellow reds ?.

Normally think your posts are spot on mate but that's a speech in reference to the stick your mate got for his literature essay last week

Can't seriously believe you'd rather be in the championship, attractive football? You watched any championship games lately.

If you don't like or appreciate what marinakis has done then you've forgotten 25 years lego mainly under doughty
He has taken us to the premier in five years and filled the city ground
Hes bought the freehold, something no other owner even attempted
Yes he's impatient, but if he'd of not spent, you'd be moaning we went straight backck down after one season
You've basically forgotten the state the club was in when he bought it
So jog on if you want a new owner.

I think that you're missing my point Stripe.

Of course I'm sticking up for my mate. Not out of blind loyalty though - I think that Stokey talked a lot of sense about SD. OK I disagreed with him as I thought SD should only be given to the end of this season and Stokey thought SD should be given next season. However, Stokey didn't deserve to be shot-down as he was.

My previous post was a hypothetical question to try to get people thinking about the dire state of our club at the moment. However, I do believe you sometimes need to take a step backwards before taking two steps forwards.

He hasn't bought the freehold yet, he's waiting for the planning permission to be approved.

The direct state?
Yellow you what there's a club 16 mikes down the A52 that would swop places.

Marinakis has taken the club to the first promised land (Prem) and onto the next (Europe) given us the 13th most valuable squad in World football and you are against the owner.

And people say Forest fans are entitled!

?.

DTP - no, you're wrong. As RV rightly says he has not bought the freehold yet. I don't think that even you can argue against that point.

How dare me for defying your wishes - but, yes DTP, I do want a new owner. Our great Club is screwed in every way with our current ownership and direction.

Jog on? Idiot.

You won't get one lego and like I've said forest are in a better place than we've been in for 30 years, but you've forgotten that dross.

Whoops that's a classic of my phones decisions on words ???
The dire state?
Tell you what there's a club 16 miles down the A52 that would swap places.

Yes I am against the owner Cyclist. Personally, I'd suggest that Big M has been happy to sacrifice our prestigious history for his own ego-project. We are, under his leadership. now a laughing stock as a club.

A poorly performing team, players obviously disenchanted, widely regarded as 'whingers' as a club, derided widely, laughed-at within the football community and ripe for relegation. Is that what you want? That is the reality.

17.) 12 Feb 2026
12 Feb 2026 23:23:19
You're obviously the worse for wear with drink DTP. I can't be bothered.

At this time, the club's ownership status regarding the freehold is not relevant.
Yes, Mr. Marinakis is known for his passion and significant financial investment. However, I believe Lego aims to convey that Forest's business model is significantly flawed and unsustainable.

We can also acknowledge that Mr. Marinakis' actions are seen as volatile and as a mockery of what has been achieved.
Marinakis needs to make changes for the benefit of Forest, as continuing the current approach would lead to a "rinse, dry, repeat" scenario.

See there you go again lego, now you've decided I'm the worse for wear?
You assume far to much, off to work now 7am
Ill be having a drink tonight though like I've said to you before, the club has been in far worse places over the last 30 years but you've obviously forgotten it all.

20.) 13 Feb 2026
13 Feb 2026 10:02:55
Don't want to get into an argument and I'm just going to ask one question. Where would we as a club be without Mr M? ?.

League one winter.

22.) 13 Feb 2026

We were a laughing stock when we were out of the Prem for over 20 years. We are in a way better place, largely thanks to the owner.

Most of the owners of Prem clubs are either corrupt, mad and all of them are mega-rich. But we're fortunate to have what we have. Look at Direby and company.

I think we'll have to agree to disagree Cyclist. I thought we were fortunate to have Big M at first, but I think that as time has gone on he has become more erratic in his behaviour. Subsequently, his decisions alone have led to a downward spiral in terms of our Club's level of performance and our perception by the rest of the football community as a club in continual crisis.

Which, unfortunately, we have become under his 'leadership'.
