I have no problem with VAR but after Sunday's result against Fulham I think the margin is too fine. The player involved even had his back to goal. I don't think football fans of any club want to see goals disallowed by such fine margins,
We've all seen it and I think the fans and players of any club feel cheated so I would propose either keep it as it is but with a line across the penalty area at which no one is offside unless they have crossed it or 10% of a player's body being offside.
We are in the entertainment business and goals contribute to this. FA, think on!

Can you imagine if they had VAR back in the seventies? Best, Bowles, Worthington, even Bobby Charlton with his comb-over. It would have been 0-0 draws every week. They would have had to wear swimming caps just to keep onside.

I am beginning to regret Forest getting into Europe, Even some of our best players like Williams and Murillo making errors they were famous for not making, they looked tired and jaded, We have too small a squad of quality players for all the extra games we are playing and it looks as though we may pay a heavy price for it.
God help us against Manchester City.

I couldn't agree with you more, Larry/Balloons. It's pathetic that these 'elite athletes', being paid a fortune in the prime of their 20's, can't play two games a week!
I used to play 3 games a day in wheelchair rugby at the GB Championships - a sport just as physical as 'real' rugby - and I was in my early 50's! Shortened games, I admit, but extremely physical.
OK, I often ended up in A&E afterwards - but just saying.

Completely agree with all above about being able to play more than one game a week. As an under 16 I played Saturday morning, then would run out for the local men's team in the afternoon. I'd play in the local league on Sundays.
I trained Tuesday and Thursday, and in the summer months usually had a game Wednesday night. That was on top of playing rugby and football for the school and county footy. ?

Now is our chance to level with Palace on points but overtake Leeds who we play next week. Also to showcase our new signing I think is supposed to be 6ft 7" tall so I would like to see him alongside Jesus.
Still not sure who we are signing as I've never known such complication involved in signing them. Some don't know whether they want to come or not. The player agrees terms then we get gazumped.
I think teams know we are one of the few clubs that have the cash and they are trying to screw us to the floor. Example Mateta wanted to come now he wants to go elsewhere and yet Palace say they are paying £50 million for the norwegian guy from Wolves to replace him! also don't think AC Milan can afford him
Absolute rubbish! they only wanted £40 million in the first place.

bsered there could be an unenviable record set tomorrow night if the result is a draw which is no good to either team. The record would be if as a result of this both managers were sacked ( a present Forest manager and an ex Forest manager, It would be a first anywhere in the world)

Skegsjay when Billy Davies was sacked he had at least 11 injuries but the owner just did'nt seem to appreciate that, Its a bit late now for Billy but Sean Dyche is the nearest to it. Some people say that he is too defensive but did'nt the great Brian Clough advocate star building from the back and stop conceding goals. However having a ready made squad of players its a different ball game and I would think Dyche would be in his seventh heaven.
We have the players just get the system right!
