Nottingham Forest have bid rejected for Middlesbrough's Albert Adomah SSN

1.) 15 Jul 2014
This could spell the end of Mackie, if Forest get him of course. The Reds haven't had much joy when it comes to buying Boro's better players. I dare say they too, will hold out for a "sensational offer". It makes you wonder, with the links they have developed, they couldn't find a David Silva like player knocking around somewhere. That should do.

{Ed034's Note - we only have two wingers with mackie and pato. we will need an option

This would be a great signing. One of the best players I saw at the City ground last season. didn't we enquire about him when he was at Bristol City?

3.) 15 Jul 2014
We should've signed Adomah when he was at Bristol City, he's an excellent player at Championship level. Think we've missed the boat now, unless we want to pay twice as much.

A bit like Maguire; We probably should have gone that bit extra to sign him 6-12 months ago before his stock rose further.

4.) 15 Jul 2014
Oh yes He is an excellent player!

5.) 15 Jul 2014
At least this time round it seems like we are trying to fly beneath the radar with regards to signing players and not announcing we are about to make a bid for every player we are after.

6.) 15 Jul 2014
Really would be a great signing and give us a different dimension. Can't see it happening though. Like us boro don't want to sell their better players and I don't think he's worth the type of money they will accept.

7.) 15 Jul 2014
I honestly don't think boro would let him come to us, unless for silly money. Can see them wanting 4 mill at least for him, and I don't think we will pay that. I also think sheffield united will want around 3 mill for maguire too, so can we really see us spending around 7 mill on 2 players? Doubt it. Think we will end up using the laon market for these kind of players

8.) 15 Jul 2014
Can't McLaughlin play on the wing?

9.) 15 Jul 2014
Should've bought him when the price would've been realistic rather than wasting money on Abdoun
