Ed, what is your honest opinion on the Lascelles and Darlow situation?

{Ed034's Note - doesn't seen enough money to me. Pearce has said players will be sold if he can use it straight away to improve the squad.
We have them back on a season long loan, so do not need to replace.
When lascelles leaves next summer we have the young Spanish lad waiting.
Until we see what Pearce has up his sleeve, I can see how we can say if has helped us or it hasn't.

It will be interesting to see what he has to say on radio at 6pm. To me something does not seem right.

Maybe the money being mentioned is not accurate. Let's wait until it is confirmed as the media don't always get it exactly right. Just last week I read Lukaku was going for 24 million only to see a few hours later that he had signed for 28 million.

If the fee is rising to 10 million for example, it is not a bad deal especially as we seem to be getting them back for the season. On that note, if we were injury free, I don't think Lascelles would get much game time for us this year. If he is not a regular starter for a Championship club, how much can he really be worth?
