Quick question - don't know if anyone knows the answer.

Why are all our home midweek league games on Wednesdays this season not Tuesdays like normal? All our away midweek league games are Tuesday still so why not our home games?

{Ed034's Note - 😇 it was pearces decision. I think it a disadvantage as it gives us a day less to recover over the opposition we play Saturday, but what do i know lol

Can the club make that decision? Works both ways as an xtra day to recover from a satday

{Ed034's Note - pearce did make that decision yes. it doesn't work both ways as the odds are the team we play the Saturday after, would have played on the Tuesday and there for will get an extra days rest

Historically (BC era) Forest always played the midweek games on a wednesday. Something BC introduced so that any league games or cup replays fell in line with european fixtures etc.

I like how Ed edits our posts to remove swear words or other unpleasantness. Keeps it clean and good natured. Noticed other teams rumour pages often have swear words, guess it's down to the individual Ed's. Keep up the good work, added work I imagine as I'm sure you get a lot of profanities lol

Playing wednesday also gives us an extra day to recover from the previous weekend and more importantly I can make every wednesday, but not tuesdays. LOL
