Despite being a bit slapdash against Ipswich Lansbury seems to be more effective than Reid with his corner kicks. Can't remember the last time Forest scored twice direct from corners? Is it something that Pearce works on in training? let's hope it continues.

No mate he's been rubbish at corners, the ball should never reach the far post so IMO the two goals were lucky in that respect, maybe Lansburys corner taking has been better in training and he will start to deliver

Reid puts the ball in the right areas consistantly from his corners where Lansbury is very erratic. Against Wigan his set piece delivery was woeful.

I see Hobbs is out yet again. This time for 3 months. It's about time we really looked at players fitness before signing them? Reid, Vaughan, Wilsonand to a lesser respect Lansbury are all in the same boat,

Considering our defensive injuries i hope SP is looking at loans ,it is very quiet on rumour side of things at the moment, any REDS heard anything, where is The old red one when you need him 👂

How many goals have we scored this season from Reid corners?

Haha. I wondered when you would come back with that old chesnut Twf79! No doubt a statement born of desperation at the realisation that your first post was made in haste, fueled no doubt by the jubilation a last gasp equaliser from a corner. There are many other factors involved in scoring from a corner other than just the delivery. The desire of the attacker to get on the end of it, the way the opposition defends the corner are just as important as the delivery. Who`s to say we would not have scored those two set piece goals had Reidy not been the deliverer? or even scored from three Reid corners thus going on to win the game. One swallow a summer does not make perfectly sums up Lansbury`s corner taking of late.

Twf79 - preposterous question. How many games has Reid played this season?

If you don't like him, just say. The fact is we're a very predictable team without him.

I iike Reid but he does not seem to have been taking corners very effectively, when playing obviously, this season. Lansbury has not been so great otherwise but he can seem to get a corner to the far post which is better than hitting the first defender at the near post. At least gives those players attacking the ball in the air a chance of connecting with it. Preposterous old chestnut maybe but without those two goals from corners we would have lost and got three points from 12 instead of four and an unbeaten record intact.
