It's sad how quick fans turn on players, when he plays well, the whole team plays well, it would weaken us if he left. I hope Assombalonga comes back from injury and plays well or will he get the same treatment? Freedman needs time to get balance in the side, the restrictions won't help with signings, but let's give the whole club a break, there has been far too much disruption the past few years. I would support them if they were in the conference or the premier league, win lose or draw.

Trouble is he will be difficult to replace if we can't pay a transfer fee and can't pay high wages so unfortunately a swap deal would be a viable option as long as we got in return players who will strengthen the squad and challenge for a first eleven place.

Thanks for your "selective" stats but the initial interest from Burnley was pre season. I like Lansbury and agree that when he plays well the team play well but the actual point I was trying to make was that if he was worth a certain amount of money at the beginning of the season then why would he command that same level of investment twelve months later after his "indifferent" performances since then.

Dougie Freedman on interviews always praised his technical ability, and that was why he made him captain, a ploy if you like to bring out a sort of lead from the front mentality. I think the rest of the team need to perform consistently, I would say only Antonio had consistency last season. The whole team needs to pull in the same direction and my opinion is we are a team of individuals. If you look at Bournemouth there aren't any real superstars in that side, but they have a good mix, with the right kind of attitude. That's what Forest have lacked for years.

Well I guess there are those who find HL a good player, personally tho' I'd prefer to call him HLiability. Never thought much of him, and absolutely no leadership qualities at all.
