So pee'd off - the first match this season I haven't been able to watch. Can you tell me did we play with two up front or did Walker play wide right ?
I'm often critical of MW regarding selection, tactics etc. but he seems to have got it right today.
So well bl**dy done. . .

Bar the first 5 mins, when we were still in the changing room, the most complete performance from a Forest team in many a year. Smith had naff all to do, Mance put in a captain's performance, Worral was vocal and barely puts foot wrong, Bridcutt a good 7/8 out of 10, McKay unplayable, Benny busy, inventive and hard working, Murphy worked hard on his own but a bit rusty (same as Wardy) and Dowell was a joy to watch, especially first half 8/9 out of 10. Great pass for Walker and a great finish himself. As for Walker, he's one of our own. Proud and happy Forest fan. FTID

Brian Clough Upper, Block M, Row 9, seat 171. Do I get any refund for 50% of the first half? I couldn't see naff all with that low sun.😐

Scouseduckred I know what you mean I'm in the next block and a couple of rows lower! Just as well we play it on the floor a lot lol! Glad it gets dark early to give my old eyes a rest! Can't add much to the excellent previous posts except that we look a much better team with Eric at right back and Traore on the left plus big Murphy to do all the heavy lifting up top. Young Kyle seized his chance well and showed a lot of character and pace,Mancienne faultless,McKay at times unplayable. On the whole wonderful to watch. Was it the sun because at times I thought I was at the Nou Camp! COYR!

I agree partly, if you were talking about Burton but QPR were poor because Forest were that good. Off the back of beating Wolves and Sheff Utd, QPR started like they smelt blood. Fortunately Dowell won a 50/50 or blocked a clearance, great pass for Walker to score the first. Forest grew in belief, passed better, won more tackles and thoroughly deserved their victory. Holloway panicked and sent on the giant and tried to play on our apparent weakness for long balls into the box. The defence held strong and they didn't win every header, they cleared the knock down or threw their bodies in the way of half chances. If we win half of our games and try to turn a few of those defeats into draws, I'll be satisfied with this season's progress, on and off the pitch. FTID.👍
