Great result last night, didn't care for the Norwich gaffers post match comments, recons they controlled the game and kept the crowd quiet, and the goal came off Murphys chin, sounds like sour grapes and someone hanging onto his job.

I did not think Norwich were that good other than keeping their shape and closing our midfield down.There defence seemed nervous when pressed and we kept them quiet up front?

Did we show them too much respect or could we have gone at them more
from the get go by playing someone closer to Murphy?

I think it was team shape rather than selection. We had too big a gap between Murphy and midfield. Late in the second half our midfielders took it in turns to chase down their defenders with Murphy, which immediately pushed their full backs towards goal. This balanced the numbers up in midfield and enabled our back four to step up, win and bring out the ball higher up the park.

If we do not address this by getting more bodies in their box more often and just play how we did for most of the Norwich game then I think Cardiff will pick us off?
