I said a long time ago on here that the warnings were there right at the start as we shipped far too many goals and the ball went largely backwards on the field but I wanted MW to succeed. His interview comments reminded me of how he was at Rangers. I know little of Karanka and his methods, but hope as we all probably do, that he can mould some really good players into an exciting side ready to challenge for the top 6. I only hope the opposition fans don't start overusing words that seem to sound similar to his name in their chants. Guess we'll just have to put up with it.

Bsered, we were total crap under MW, tell me any team in any division that gets anywhere conceding the quantity of goals were conceding. If you played football as a kid and you keep conceding goals it spoils confidence and leads to a spiral of defeats. Adults are no different and you have to be able to prevent the other team scoring to win games of football , an obvious comment I know but obviously not to warburton, weir and his smattering of disciples on this site. In he end our views are academic because Marinakis was always going to pull the trigger if it carried on? Why? Because he’s not blind and it was obvious to any sane person that MW didn’t have a clue and wasn’t learning.

2 star absolutely spot on. Couldn’t ever figure why MW seemed to have so much support with a truly awful record especially when he seemed to contradict himself. His word when he joined was he likes to work with a small squad of 22 players and doesn’t like too many changes?

Warburton was and is still a bumbling buffoon.
I agree with 2star, Absolutely clueless.
Thank God he's gone and hopefully karanka can work his magic.

Jeez guys, move on, you have a new manager now but still keep moaning about the old one, it's hilarious. Remember when we all kept telling Skegs to let it go with Dougie? :)

Good luck to Karanka and his team and let's hope he gets given the time and resources he needs.
