I see Hobbs ( remember him ) played for the under 23 side last night and to quote the Post " playing 45 minutes as he works his way back to fitness after a lengthy spell out."

A lengthy spell of about 4 years on and off by my reckoning.

Surely he won't be offered another contact of any description will he ?????.

Cant deny he is a good player but attitude/commitment,fitness record would say a definite no from me

Every time I’ve seen him play his attitude and commitment have been great. A bit harsh to automatically conclude that being lazy and lacking commitment is an automatic outcome of injury. You’re usually a bit more measured than this mate.

I get the frustration but he’s in a long line of players that have been a disaster for us fitness wise. Cohen, Reid fryatt assombalonga and Hobbs.

They would be the spine of any competitive championship team and anyone would struggle without them or to replace them with the same quality whilst still on the wage bill.

Perhaps we’ve just been very unlucky and to a man, I’m sure all the players mentioned above are as gutted as us that they haven’t played their part.

Take your point squarely on the chin 2star and on reflection I am possibly being a little harsh questioning his attitude etc. It's probably born out of frustration as much as anything because I have said on here he is possibly our best centre half. That said his injury record alone should negate our offering a new contract.

If it’s taken all this time for him to get fit then let’s use him. I’d be happy to see him back but you just couldn’t give him another contract.

Creepy, I share your frustration mate I really do. To this day I still can’t believe the amount of seasons we’ve had disseminated through injuries . I reckon it’s done for a few of our managers. It defo stuffed Pearce.
