Oh well we didn't do it on the day, but we'd all of been happy to know we would reach the semis before the tournament started.
So well done lots to be positive about and can only get better.

We did better than I thought we'd do but we won't get a better chance to get to a final. Defence has been dodgy all tournament. Never really played a decent side. Croatia did their homework on us and knew we couldn't defend for toffee hence all the crosses into the box. Nowhere near good enough to compete against the top sides.

But it's a progression from the disaster of the European championships.
We were never good enough ,but he played a system to combat our deficiencies at the back and nearly got away with it.
Give credit to the manager and players,it can only get better.
Hope the fans behave or it's another nail in our coffin of never seeing it in England again.

Probably get slated by all those caught up in the euphoria but let's be honest we've beat nobody half decent. Should have been 2 or 3 up at half-time but our "super star" lost his bottle. Even so a tactically astute manager would have recognised we were allowing too many crosses into the box in the second half and would have changed the shape to prevent it. Couldn't help but think that one of the numerous balls into the box would result in a goal. Walker,for all his pace, has never been a centre half and I've always said Stones has a mistake in him (although he's had a good tournament before tonight). A little like a previous manager of ours I don't believe Southgate has a plan B and chose not to take any natural wingers or a big lump that can cause havoc when a team is defending deep. Frustratingly We'll never have a better chance of reaching a final considering who's been knocked out early on and the team's we've faced. For me the standout players have been Maguire, Henderson ( who gets unfair criticism but is virtually on his own in the middle of the park) and Trippier. So,so disappointed. Don't want to think about England anymore, roll on Bristol away!

Midfield went missing second half.2 glaring chances to double the lead first half not taken and 2 pieces of basic defending cost us.Probably another 20 years before we get such an easy run to a final.Which ever way you dress it up we had a piss easy group then Columbia,Sweden, Croatia to get to final.Jokes
