Have we had our pants pulled down paying 13m for Carvalho or will he come good?
Seen very little from him to suggest he's worth anywhere near that yet and I don't buy this it'll take time for him to adapt to the championship nonsense.
Football is football and he's either good enough or he ain't.
Interested to hear everyone's thoughts.

Red Fred, what are the winning lottery numbers? It is all guess work. We have to hope he clicks and soon, at the end of the day he is not the only one that is struggling.

Can't see where the 13 million as come from for him Fred but he's still young lad so might get better and someone seen something in him but soudani looks a snip at 3 I just hope he gets the chance to start next game he over anyone deserves it

Maybe,we will see. I did just watch the highlights and noticed he won the tackle in midfield then slotted Cash in for the first though.Some may choose to ignore that though.It is only the 4th league game of the season so plenty of time

I was always sceptical of the 3 Portuguese lads being able to adapt to championship pace ect.
To pay 13m for such a young lad who only started half dozen games for benfica. Seemed a lot.
When that money could of been better spent on proven championship players.
They all look quality in flashes. I'm hoping he comes good. But the other 2 are loans so can be sent back. I'd still bring tomlin back. Scored 3 had 4 assists in bout dozen games.

5 games for Mr kranky I suggest you put soudani up front with whoever as long as you start him he might just save your job later down the line a great player you have followed and signed so play him 😁

I watched carvalho in preseason against bournemouth and i thought he looked really good. So to slate him after 4 games is very harsh. Why not judge him 15-20 games in to the season. Give people a chance for once. Same goes with people slating grabban. The guy has only played 3 games and people are outraged he hasn't scored lol it is ridiculous

Mighty Reds i can not speak for others that moan about Grabban but for me although we all want him to score, my complaint is he is not suited to a lone striking role. He has proven himself last season as a goal scorer, but he is out of his depth as a lone striker.
