I like most people would love to see MON in charge next season, but if this is not possible who? Iv looked on various betting sites at who's favourite and I'm not sure. One name that's not been mentioned is Michael Laurup.

MON will hate forest after a few months because the fans will want him out lol so doesn't matter who we get really because nothing will ever be good enough for some fans. say we do get promoted in the next couple years, how many of you will expect us to get champions league and win the league just because Leicester have been able to do it.

Look at hull fans. protesting mid week even tho they are in the playoffs, shows that fans are way off it when it comes to there club. they should be getting behind them at this moment in time and being that extra man.

These fans are ruining the football.

Whoever we get will be named "tactically inept" within weeks after a 2-2 against QPR. This is confirmed. By christmas, after facing a shock defeat to Bristol City which has taken us from 6th to 8th in the table, the manager will be sacked after fans protest, and the hunt for the special blend will continue.

As much as it pains me to say this, I don't think MON is the right Manager for us at this time. Basically under Fawaz any Manager coming in has one season to achieve promotion, and if he doesn't have us in the top 6 he will be gone like the rest. I think at MON's age and at this point in his career, it's not a cushy number of just keeping things going for a few seasons. There is a big job to be done at our club, and I think the time has been and gone for MON. If time was no issue, I would like to see someone like Brendan Rodgers. He built a great Swansea side, that has served them well. My second choice would be Ian Holloway. Again proven record of getting teams up, and I think he is very much a motivator which I think our current team would respond to. Third choice would be Warnock.

Check out Ollies record other than Blackpool it's surprisingly poor. I too thought he had a much better portfolio.

MoN definite for me. He has an over 50% win rate and has got Ireland to the Euros. He is 4 years younger than the current England manager . He would sort the club out I am sure and would not be a journeyman. Patently he is reading the rumors in the press and not denying them so is probably weighing up the offers. Remember if Derby don't get promoted - and sadly they might - they will also be looking. Looking at the last series of managers I agree the prospects are poor of attracting MoNs caliber of manager, but is a true football supporter without hope?
