As Aitor left the club on Thursday, or Friday and Martin was as good as said to be our manager on Monday the club had been talking to Martin for a few weeks. I think the club wanted to be sure they were going after Martin, and that he was wanting to join us before turning to Keane as they were sure he would follow Martin in hardly anytime time once confirmed.

Roy is taking a lot longer than I expected but hopefully it’s sorted soon,as in before Saturday’s home game!! He is well able to negotiate so I’d imagine if he has agreed to join Martin he’s dotting the i ‘s and crossing the T’s.
