Lets clear it up straight away. The club WILL NOT now go out and make 15 million pounds worth of signings. That is not how a loss making club opperates. And rightly so! After Burke was sold i got sick of hearing people say 'but we've got 13m to spend, why aren't we buying anyone? ' That is not how our club will move forward. Think back to Southampton when they sold Walcott and Ox for big money in league 1 and championship. They reinvested wisely and made the club sustainable. That should be the blueprint for our club.

Of course the other option if people prefer, is to blow the lot and join Portsmouth down the leagues with debt they will never recover from.

Fawaz pocketed the burke money. Never even touched the clubs accounts and was written off against paying back his loans.

If you want to know why Britt was sold look to Fawaz.

He has left the club in 90 million quid bank debt. Financially our club is in ruins.

People that want to see us blow millions immediately after the sale of Britt aren't proper football fans. They lack understanding of the situation Forest are in and probably have little understanding of football as a whole.

They judge players via YouTube clips and rate them on their transfer fees. The more expensive they are the better they must be. Every football club has them, there's lots of them unfortunately. They're usually the ones that shout the loudest too, especially on match day.

No22 you can't back your claims up. Fawaz stated on camera in the Nat Jackson interview that all the Burke money went back into the club to cover running costs. But depends what you want to believe as he's gone now.

Plus everything else you said was what I said anyway. The club has been run poorly and needs to get a grip of itself financially so don't expect 15m worth of signings. Not sure what your argument is to be honest.

We are now paying for Fawaz legacy of running the club so poorly so for him to say he had nothing to do with sale is a joke, things are not going to change overnight. As much as the club might have wanted to keep assabolonga, his clause in the contract handed him to by fawaz allowed him to leave. We got good money for him and I wish him all the best, as long as he doesn't find net against us still don't think boro will be in the top 2 though with the risk for his knee he had to get the best deal for himself!

I sure the management team have been looking at alternatives for some time now, so wait and see what progress, this season has to be one of stability, mid-table with some attacking attractive football at the city ground would do me fine!
