Seen quite a few war films portraying German soldiers as not acknowledging the geneva convention. Plenty of stories in books and documents.
But there seem to be nothing or very very little informing us of allied soldiers carrying out things which contravene Geneva convention. It seems were playing by the rules, but I am not so sure. Does anyone know of any.
There were many in building our Empire.

I'm sure stokey will know, but I've read many an account of us in WW2 escorting prisoners back but them not making it, SS Hitler youth predominantly for obvious reasons

And if the Geneva convention was in place during our imperialist adventures they may have had a word to say.

Socks - as an ex-British Squaddie I would say from my experience that we are more inclined to follow the Geneva Convention than most other countries!

However, you may want to look into the ongoing investigation about the SAS in Afghan.
